I tried to kill time once but I couldn't find any useful bind points.

You don't need bindpoints to kill... just to preserve the parts you need for later.

One does not simply not spike someone you're trying to kill.

At least not if you're a lurker of the DA.

The heart is the universal bindpoint (which begs the question on how it works for creatures with gem for hearts). Now what is at the heart of time? That's right, you have to stab time in its progress.

As someone who doesn't go on DeviantArt very much, I'm trying to find this 'secondary house' gizmo, and am failing miserably. Can someone post a link.

On a separate note, I'm still trying to finish that Secret Santa project, but it's defying every attempt. If I don't have it completed by the end of January, I'll use Seonid's trick and start making it serialized. I am really sorry about that.

Its on Tumblr, actually. I can't post links on mobile, but if you google "sorting hat chats tumblr," it'll be the first result.

So how do I spike a Time Lord? Do I need two spikes to hit both hearts at the same time?

Just stab them mid-regeneration for access to unlimted power.

They can be spiked individually or jointly.

Would one be able to spike the TARDIS?

Theoretically, but bad things tend to happen to unscrupulous people who break into the heart of the TARDIS.

Whatever, if one is a popular enough villain, one will inexplicably return, even from certain death!

Anyways, is anyone else just kind of twiddling their thumbs wait for BoM to come out. I need something to kill time at work with...The struggle is so real.

Yes. Im like "I should get it too early today... or tomorrow... and then it is weekend, and the book store is closed on weekends, so I may get it on monday...

And I dont want to start another book because I may get BoM whenever.

DON'T CARE ABOUT HOGWARTS HOUSES!? BLASPHEMY! CAPITAL LETTERS!

Real talk:

Yes.    Though I do have Warbreaker and Words of Radiance sitting at home, as-yet unread.  I don't think I can get through them both, but I can read Warbreaker over the weekend and save WoR for after BoM.

Well, I tend to buy books in more than one in number, so I started the last book left of my reserve today. Meaning that I now have about a week to finish a Discworld book.

Edit: Kaymith that is not a bad plan at all.

Discworld are usually pretty fast reads.  Unless you're a super-slow reader, you ought to be able to get it done in plenty of time.

True enough, especially given that I'll have to go on a little work trip from monday to wednesday, that'll give me plenty of time to read.

I took Bruce for a car ride to test out his new carseat, and I think it went well. Not being able to sit on my lap made him nervous at first, but I think he enjoyed being able to see out the window. And he was able to curl up and nap, which he seemed to like. ^_^

And my mom is airing her opinions again. Please, somebody distract me. <_<

For every unsavory opinion she utters, think of one specific way you can rebel against it once you're on your own.  One point per way, five extra bonus points for some way to do it on the sneak while you're still in her house.

I am subversive again!

(Seriously, why do so many of you think I'm the adultiest adult to ever adult?  I'm full of mischief.)

Yes, but you're mischievous while adulting. You're like Fred and George Weasley—you've made a career out of pranking people, but you make a living at it because you combine pranks with good business sense, so nobody can call you immature.

Oh, people can totally call me immature.  Though usually they just skip right past that and call me weird.  ("Rosemary, normal people in their 30s don't remember things they learned in high school history classes!")  I take the weird bit as a badge of honor, at least.  :D

But still, sometimes life around here just seems like this:

How Sharders think I adult:

How I actually adult:
