Kestrel she/her Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Woohoo +50 bravery points for Lark! Where are you going in the end? Well, dinner, and then to a bookstore and possibly the flute shop.
Voidus Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 My crush said yes! We're going out Saturday night. Until corrected I choose to imagine this scene watched over by an approving Hoid, per my advice. (Even if corrected I'll probably still imagine it that way) Congrats Lark!
Delightful Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Well, dinner, and then to a bookstore and possibly the flute shop. That sounds great Imma very happy for you.

(Even if corrected I'll probably still imagine it that way) Congrats Lark! I almost didn't do it, but then I thought of how salty Hoid would be and I did.He took it nicely too and I'm so glad. I seem to fall for the right people. 4
Mailliw73 he/him Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 <.< I like my british covers. I prefer them to the american ones, except the Stormlight covers, the american Stormlight covers are better. Stormlight (and kinda Warbreaker and Elantris) are the only Brandon covers I like from America. For everything else, it seems like every other country gets way better ones. My crush said yes! We're going out Saturday night. Congratulations! That's awesome!
Citadel16 he/him Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 thats awesome lark! upvoted QUOOOOTTTAAAAAA!!! what hitting the quota is like: 3

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Pop quiz! You are a young boy, about 10 or 12, at a nice car dealership with your mom. You get a soda from the mini-fridge, but somehow or another, the can cracks! It's gushing soda everywhere! You shout that it's spilling to anyone who might be listening. The receptionist tells you to hold it over the sink. Do you.... A. Look just a few feet to your left, spot the sink, and do as she says? B. Tell her you don't see a sink, then wait where you are until she can get out from behind her desk and point you in the right direction? C. Shout "THE WHAT?" multiple times while moving toward the sound of her voice with the gushing soda still in your hand?

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Perfect, but I'm not sure how that would sound coming from me instead of a strong young woman. How about take the "Gondor has no pants" meme and change "pants" to "girlfriend" or "significant other"?
Citadel16 he/him Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) "Gondor has no girlfriend"? thank GOODNESS. that would get awkward. Edited January 15, 2016 by warriormark16
Kobold King he/him Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 How about take the "Gondor has no pants" meme and change "pants" to "girlfriend" or "significant other"? Maybe. Maybe I'll just fill out a dating website's form with Bactrack's info and see what happens.
