I was having a conversation with a friend about some difficulties I was experiencing trying to balance multiple obligations, and how I felt I would have disappointed my mentor.

Then I went quiet for a moment, and remembered the number of times she'd commented on my penchant for self-destruction.

I said, remembering her quoting Hillel at me, "...Except I'm worth protecting too, huh." Then winced as it reminded me way too much of Teft's Ideal.

Tldr; YKYASFW you accidentally blunder into an Ideal when trying to talk things through with a friend.
