Kobold King he/him Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Which book is 'Sparks' from? Steelheart and Firefight.
Mistrunner Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 I just use "Gak" from Alcatraz. There's no gaks around here, boy! Why do you think we keep so much straw around? 6
Dankworth he/him Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Interesting as this discussion of fantasy curse words is, it's now time to return to the thread topic: You know you're a Sanderfan when you have trouble listening to a psychology lecture because the guest teacher looks eerily like Brandon Sanderson--and even has a sort of similar voice--and you keep drifting into Cosmere theories. 4

"Professor, will our textbook cover abnormal psychology cases later in the semester?" "RAFO." 13
Queen Elsa Steelheart she/her Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 When you accidentally step on a broken glass barefoot, then look at your foot and you said "There's like 17 shards in it!" Then you pause because you've realised what you've just said 7
Mistrunner Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 When you see this scene from Frozen And all you can think is "ICE INQUISITOR!" 11
Kobold King he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 And all you can think is "ICE INQUISITOR!" It must suck to be an Ice Inquisitor in tropical biomes.
Xaladin he/him Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 It must suck to be an Ice Inquisitor in tropical biomes. As long as you have access to Feruchemical Brass and have plenty of Brassminds to fill, you should be OK. IceQuisitors! 5

Oh, look at that, i've been ninja'd When you take a moment to realize that these posts aren't necessarily normal because, hey, that was one of your first thoughts too. The Honey Badger he/him Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 (edited) You know you're a Sanderfan when your drama teacher asks you to spike things on stage, and you start laughing to your self like an insane person. (spiking things in stage terms is to mark a set pieces position on the floor with tape to make it easier to place exactly) Edit: Woot Woooooot, My first Popular post. For some reason I feel really accomplished right now Edited April 20, 2015 by The Honey Badger 10

Brightness Random she/her Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 (edited) When someone's talking about renewing their membership for something and you hear "Renoux-ing their membership", and you immediately think, Wait, they're replacing someone who already has a membership with a kandra so they can get all the benefits without paying?! My director is a very clever man, I was the villain last play, this time around I'm not the play we are doing is a dumbed down version of Once upon a Mattress Edit to add: I'm only in middle school, so dumbed down it is Edited March 22, 2015 by The Honey Badger 1

king of nowhere Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 When you nickname your nephew Ati because whenever you build something with building blocks he will come along and slowly, meticulously and deliberately take apart what you have built reducing it to singular blocks. Keep him away from shardpools! 2
sanderfan she/her Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 When you make a deal with a friend that you'll read one of his favorite books if he reads Way of Kings. He has yet to finish, but I'm looking forward to it. (It's even better because the book he had me read was so small I could have read it in a day and, as we all know, WoK is massive) 2
Sirce Luckwielder he/him Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 When you literally tell everyone you meet that you HAVE to read Mistborn. I'm seeing a friend I converted last week on Tuesday. Can't wait for their reactions!!! I love how you use the word "converted." In some ways, Brandon teaches lessons and theologies just like any major religion. 2
The Honey Badger he/him Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Sanderson is less of a thing you do, and more of a lifestyle 7
Kobold King he/him Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 When the friend you have urged into reading Mistborn says something funny and you can't tell them why because you'll spoil it. The funniest thing anybody can say about a Brandon Sanderson book they haven't finished: "I've predicted the ending." Makes me laugh every time. 8
Delightful Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 The funniest thing anybody can say about a Brandon Sanderson book they haven't finished: "I've predicted the ending." Makes me laugh every time. I've also had someone extremely disappointed that he guessed the ending: that Alendi was TLR 3
