DreamEternal Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Why not kill them, awaken them and tthen spike them? 1
Kairos Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Lash water and sharks, together, upward, sideways and then into a tornado. Voila, an actual Sharknado. (No, it wouldn't be any more dangerous than a normal tornado. It'd kill the sharks pretty fast. Why do you ask?) Do that, but with Lifeless Sharks. Command? Eat People that don't have Chainsaws. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Do that, but with Lifeless Sharks. Command? Eat People that don't have Chainsaws. If the Sharknado made it to Roshar, would the spren who bonded with Radiants take the form of chainsaws instead of Shardblades? 1
WayneSpren he/him Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 If the Sharknado made it to Roshar, would the spren who bonded with Radiants take the form of chainsaws instead of Shardblades? Chainsaws for everyone! Useless use for Soulcasting: turn all your garbage into smoke. Then, you can tell people that your house is on fire! 2
natc Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Go to a mall. Soulcast all garbage in the trashcans to smoke, triggering the sprinklers. Soulcast the water to smoke too. Wasting water, and you didn't even burn anything. 1
Kairos Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 If the Sharknado made it to Roshar, would the spren who bonded with Radiants take the form of chainsaws instead of Shardblades? In all seriousness, couldn't a shark actually survive flying across Roshar in a highstorm? 1
Kairos Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Use Hemalurgy and a fish to make Swimmingly. Then run. 1
Dunkum he/him Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 In all seriousness, couldn't a shark actually survive flying across Roshar in a highstorm? if it was a surgebinder, maybe. otherwise it would get torn to shreds. on the other hand, if it survived long enough, it wold probably just get dropped by the weakened storm in Shinovar. that's probably where all their soil comes from: fish that have fallen in a highstorm 1

At least until it hit the Everstorm and turns into the EverHighSharkicane. 1

At least until it hit the Everstorm and turns into the EverHighSharkicane. Crap. I've never seen Sharknado, but now I'm imagining that movie applied to the Stormlight archive. The hideousness...
natc Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 (edited) Throw Nightblood into the sun. Whichever disappears first, it would be a total waste. Edited September 14, 2015 by natc 3
Landis963 he/him Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Awaken the Stick with the command to fight Odium, sit back and let the almighty stick prevail! It'd need to gather some allies first. Form an Order, if you will. Oh, and use Hemalurgy spikes as bowling pins. (Sticking them in people? ew, Gross!) 4
DreamEternal Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Throw Nightblood into the sun. Whichever disappears first, it would be a total waste. Make Susebron wield Nightblood unsheated and throw both at the center of Odium's councience. Not his shardpool though. Total waste of Breath, since it is imaterial, and probably could dodge at the speed of light anyway.
picksupchickens he/him Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Use compounded gold to constantly cut off pieces of your body and soulcast them into toys. 6
kinxer he/him Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Use compounded gold to constantly cut off pieces of your body and soulcast them into toys. That is so awful I'm giving you an upvote. In a similar vein (ha, Hemalurgy pun), cut off your arm, then spike it with many times in a vain attempt to grant it sentience. Finally succumb and Awaken it with the Command "Writhe". Bring the arm in your trunk on camping excursions and plant it in the bushes before you tell scary stories. 7

Corax Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Oh, I like this game! How about spending years and years on an intricate Soulstamp... to do your hair and nails? 2
Guest Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Soulstamp yourself to be someone like you except that they always screw up their Soulstamps. Include a pathological need to experiment on others, no matter how many times it goes wrong.

king of nowhere Posted September 17, 2015 Author Posted September 17, 2015 make a circular hemalurgic spike so that you can spike yourself in a continuous loop 1
Guest Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 *Hemalurgy That would be evil, not useless. I like it!
Dunkum he/him Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 That would be evil, not useless. I like it! yea, Ruin would probably be perfectly OK with that sort of thing
kinxer he/him Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 yea, Ruin would probably be perfectly OK with that sort of thing Yeah, I suppose it's exceptionally good for "losing" Investiture...
Dunkum he/him Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Yeah, I suppose it's exceptionally good for "losing" Investiture... well, mostly I figure experimental hemalurgy (side note: cosmere band name?) would be a good way to you know, kill some folks, which Ruin seems pretty ok with 1
