LG112 - Metacycle Seven: And Another One

The Unknown Player examined the criteria the last Roleplay Character had given them. No one was a complete match. Some were close, but not close enough to risk it. 

“The Shard's back on.” Someone wrote.

“I don't have a match,” the Unknown Player replied.

“Time's running out.”

Shoot. He had to make a choice. Who had the most matches?

So we’re looking for the pseudo-elim mole now, who seems most likely to be xino. If there is a 5th original elim, I’d guess them to be one of Kit Kat or Lettuce, since neither of them was really active the turn the NK was skipped. On the flip side, I find it rather unlikely that either of those two would be converted, mostly out of concerns for activity.

Speaking of the conversion, I doubt Qian left it in xino’s hands, so we can be reasonably certain that someone has been converted by now. It may be worth holding further thoughts on the topic so as to not help the elims pick a NK target, so I’ll leave off further speculation for now.

Rehashing my original argument of: 

Giving the elims a starting Coinshot + giving elims a pseudoGM gives them the chances to be too OP and have 2 Coinshot by C2. And xino would have used his shot if he's evil.

Lettuce, yeah. I'm on phone but I remember revealing it to Coco pretty early that Lettuce was p-evil and I find it very surprising that Lettuce wasn't attacked in the cycle Coco became a Coinshot.

I’m not sure that last part is true. xino has only posted 5 times this game, most recently in metacycle 4, which was almost a week ago. I don’t think we should make a judgement calls based on whether he would/wouldn’t have taken an action.

He got killed in C1 on pseudo-cycle which was the very first cycle, and he was active in the elim doc as well. He definitely would have taken a shot if we wanted to imo. And I would give the least weightage to ths\is reasoning as compared to my other reasons

I suppose Lettuce has actually been less active than xino. So she might fit the missed elim kill better than xino would. I don’t think the distro argument is that strong, since your existence means the elims getting a second coinshot is risky. I don’t think the pseudogame needed to be balanced. It just needed to have the potential to reveal the meta-elims if they pursued their side of the bet too aggressively (which ended up happening).

Edit: @The Unknown Medallion Lettuce hasn’t posted since June 9 and hasn’t been on the Shard since June 12. Is the filter going to trigger on her?

Admittedly I feel like it would be obvious I already submitted the conversion with the hydra quote.

TUM put several coinshots in the game and let several people make even more. I remember him saying somewhere that the pseudogame should end before the meta game. Now, I realize why.

Myst is dead in the metagame and the (now defunct) pseudogame. As much as it would be funny to say someone alive is a meta elim, regardless of whether I was lying or not, I very much do not trust that the shard, particularly the se subforum, does not have the ability to determine the name of my firstborn child from some offhand comment.

Edit: Despite the fact that I do not have any children, some people just might be able to figure out what I would name them if I do ever have any.

Yeah basically. The thought process is that there’s no world in which someone wasn’t converted. And I was just looking at the playlist for who’s left and thinking who would make the most sense to convert. And I think it has to be Araris here.
