Jerome finally pulls the Oobleck from his ears and throws it onto the ground. He sees Bartholomew approaching and draws his other dagger from its sheath, then downs another vial of pewter.

Bartholomew turns to face him and then rushes forward, pressing the attack. He swings aggressively, recognizing that an extended battle will not be favorable for him.
