Pull out the peep marshmallows, get comfortable, and les go

"I dunno. Maybe things will be––"

Something moved from the corner of his eye. Ji turned himself, seeing that Deathgranter girl from the hospital. He pulled on Elya's sleeve, then pointed toward her.

The Deathgranter girl––Arya––looked past Ji, raw anger bleeding into her expression as she regarded Elya. Without saying a single word, she pointed at her. Within seconds, corpses flooded the alleyway, forcing their way to Elya.

Definatly hostile then. John thought.

John raised his gun, took aim and fired.

A crack echoed through the alleyway, as a bullet sped towards its target.

It was time for death.

Ji cursed, but... didn't summon his blades. He avoided the corpses' grasp, kicking a few and punching some more.

Arya growled, pulling out a long knife as she began to approach Elya.

Crap.

Ceph drew his sword, and took a defensive stance as corpses raced towards him.

He quickly cut down the first one, cleanly severing it at the neck, then the one after. Ceph swung back and forth, delivering Death to the Dead.

His sword lodged in the shoulder of a corpse, who lunged behind Ceph, carrying his sword with it.

Ceph drew his gun, and fired a path out of the crowd of corpses. He ran, firing behind him.

The thin alleyway made for a constricting space to fight, but fight he would.

The others couldn't be far. This Deathgranter was a backup fighter--a utility. They could fill up a space and create chaos, but not kill anyone completely alone.

Elya spun on her heel, slashing her blade in a wide arc. She slashed through a swath of undead, glancing over her shoulder at the deathgranter. That wasn't just anger in her eyes: it was hatred.

So this was a vendetta.

"Ji, get everyone out. Head down south to an apartment complex on fifth."

Saph muttered a quick prayer to whatever being watched over them, as he ran towards the corpses.

frickfrickfrickfrickfrick

He drew his sword, and slashed the head off one. He spun, but tripped on a corpse’s body. He stumbled to one knee. He lashed out as corpses surrounded him, cutting off three corpses’ legs at the kneecaps. He cursed as a club took him in the side. He glanced up to see a looming form lift a cudgel over his head and bring it down.

Saaphir closed his eyes, and felt no more.

Lyanör's eyes widened as she saw Saaphir drop. She ran to him, but by the time she reached him, it was too late. She forced back hot tears as she fired her guns at undead after undead.

Ji looked unsure for a moment, but nodded anyways.

"C'mon!" he yelled to the others, kicking another corpse away. "Let's get out of here."

He turned just in time to see Sapphir get beaten down. His eyes widened, dark memories trying to force their way through, but he turned away, continuing to wave for the others.

Arya marched her way through the sea of corpses. "You," she seethed at Elya. "You're going to pay."

She twirled her knife, then charged at Elya.

There was a corpse in the way. She ducked backwards, avoiding the Mystic's first strike. Elya held her blade close, allowing for quicker and more precise movements. The close quarters along with the corpses was making this far more difficult than it had to be.

"In my defense," she replied, staying defensive, "you attacked us first."

Saaphir! No!

John felt, something. An alien creature seemed to rise inside of him. John grabbed it by the neck and hled it until it stopped moving, now wasn't the time.

John stumbled as an undead tried to tackle him, but its physique had decayed to the point that it was no threat to him. John unloaded the rest of his magazine at the enemy mystic and reloaded. He usually felt sorry for the poeple he killed, but he could tell this would be an exception.

She growled, but pressed the attack. The corpses around them pushed in on Elya as Arya kept swiping at her. She appeared to have some training, but the emotions were making her attacks chaotic and unpredictable.

Corpses flew in front of Arya, taking all the bullets for her. A few corpses branched off, charging towards John.

Oh, Xino: If you're asking if the alleyway is a dead end, then yes.

John watched as corpses rushed him. Stupid mystics.

John shot them as they came, but upon emptying his second magasine realised that something needed to change.

Holstering his pistol John grabbed his propane tank.

"Everyone clear out, now!"

I'm going to assume the other end of the alleyway is dead.

Grace looked back. A wall. She turned forwards, facing the wall of zombies all pressing forwards.

She muttered something under her breath and raised her begloved hands. They shone red in her enchanted vision, pulsing with the light of Chaos. In her head, she recalled the page in her sketchbook covered in flames, detailing how Chaos become fire. Then she took a deep breath and ripped the image into the real world.

Fire shot forth from her hands, engulfing the encroaching zombies.
