  1. Yes you are right. I meant to say still alive. It was merely an educated guess, - Tanavast stated that Cultivation is better at seeing the future than he is (implies she is still around and no shard has been shattered/killed since Tanavast himself) source way of kings chapter 75 and The second letter - Hoid states there is only one woman as old as he and they do not get along, this is obviously a nod at Cultivation. I just find it hard to believe that Odium would shatter her and let her survive after all his goal it to splinter all of the shards of Adonalsium and to be the most powerful and to prevent anybody from opposing him. I don't think he'll take the chance and let Cultivation's shard holder live when she knows how to use one of the 16.
  2. Elantris - mistborn - war breaker - WOK - words of radiance/Alloy That's how I picture it in my head alloy happening simultaneously or just after WOR
  3. I don't think he will get his hands on Nightblood but I would pay money to see that conversation.
  4. Didn't big boss Brandon say Cultivation was still unsplintered?
  5. I think Dalinar might of switched it. Even if he thought Taln was just a mad man i can't imagine Dalinar robbing him.. or Dalinar might not be suited for the blade? So it takes a different form? I read that you cant' bond an Honorblade it has to be given. I think i'll sit this one out till you guys come up with a theory that i can pounce on.... don't feel like theorizing on a Tuesday
  6. I get this! When he was chasing Lift he was unaware that Edgedancers consumed food to make Stormlight? I'm not sure if this was because each Order tried to keep a level of secrecy about their abilities or Nalan took no notice of them (Skybreakers were apparently difficult to get along with) That in my opinion that seems suspicious after fighting all those Desolation's with the Knights Radiants he would not have noticed this? He seemed to think Surgebinders running around would cause another Desolation which he wanted to prevent.
  7. I love the fighting stances in this book; Wind, vine, iron, fire etc. I think it is really unique! I liked the fighting style in WOT but i prefer the names and techniques in the Stormlight Archive makes it feel more real
  8. I think when Kaladin blocked the blade Relis became aware of what the Shardblade was because Kaladin touched it and it resonated through them both allowing Relis to hear. I don't think he has the right temperament to be a Knight Radiant/ Surgebinder he seems more of an arrogant bully boy.
  9. I always pictured it as the left.
  10. Hoid will also get a role in Stormlight each book i think. He has a bigger presence in the SA than any other Cosmere books I've read.
  11. Only just started Warbreaker but life sense? Do you have that from the start and it gets stronger with each breath you add to your collection?
  12. Hoid has existed since before the shattering of Adonalsium i think he virtually has immortality down. He's also the most powerful character in the Cosmere, excluding the Shards. The way he said it though it sounded to me like 'Perfect Pitch' was recently acquired. I think he has the second heightening but he could have higher.
  13. 'Witallan??' He's climbin in your windows, he's snatchin your people up....
  14. Like the Night Angel? To instantly see the Crimes/Sins/Guilt of somebody by looking into their eyes?
  15. Still filtering through i haven't found any new anagrams, read and reread it but i have have already picked up several new things like;
  16. I thought the Ancient Spren where the Dawnshards
  17. WoR Spoilers
  18. http://coppermind.net/wiki/File:Shadesmar_(TWoK).jpg Shadesmar has mountain in the sea?
  19. Does anybody have any guesses on who this is? -Mraise -Hoid -Lift Just wanted to Gather some general opinions on who they think this is, could this be the champion to fight Odium?
  20. I think it was merely convenient for Nalan to recruit him after the world thinks him dead. Helps them remain inconspicuous, the Skybreakers haven't stayed hidden all these years without effort
  21. The Heralds were around before this Lighteye prejudice came to be, or it could be Taln will slowly regain his eyes once he becomes more accustomed to being outside 'Damnation' again.
  22. I don't think modern Tv/Cinema has the capacity to capture the pure awesomeness of this series.
  23. I think The Honorblades grant the full powers of of each order they represent but i think in the hands of the rightful Heralds they can do more. Taln stopped two blowdarts rather easily and Darkness/Nin chased Lift quite easily and she states he must be awesome too. I don't think Nin has the Nahel Bond, i think all the Heralds might be naturally more powerful than regular humans.
  24. Totally agree man love the theory! Hoid definitely has his own grander agenda involving the greater Cosmere; - Hoid to Dalinar I think he is preparing for something big that involves the whole Cosmere as he's seen in all the worlds so far... I think it's revenge he's after....it's one hell of a motivator
