...Accompanying the True Detective thread is this one! Penny Dreadful! Season two wrapped up recently here, which is good timing since I finally finished season one last week. I actually had a few people mention the show (QuiteContrary, and Eerongal), but it's only been recently I've been able to put aside the time to watch it. I'm gonna hopefully start watching season two this week. From season one... I like it. I think the overarching plot was a little vague at times -I was a little unclear how things worked or fit together. And, honestly, I still am a little; mainly because, if vampires all look the way they do in the series, I'm unsure who it is that "claimed" Mina, since the description of him sounded quite human... Still, it was an interesting show, atmospheric, and I'm excited to start watching season two! (And I may do episode-by-episode responses as I do, if anyone wants that?)

So, recently I decided to binge-watch some old shows I've been eying for a while. I'm in the middle of Gravity Falls (near the end of season one, actually), but I also recently finished the first season of True Detective. I know that the second season has started airing; I'm planning on getting to that once i finish Penny Dreadful (see the sister thread). But... does anyone else watch this show?

(Oh, finally found the starter question! Well, I played Gold and Silver a few times, but my favorite starter for that series was usually Totodile; I liked Feraligator a lot. Since I had one copy and my brother had the other, we would always start and reset the games a few times so we could get all three starters from the begining lol) You managed to name three Queen's songs without mentioning my favorite. Bumping seemed better than starting a new topic. I have finally started watching Gravity Falls! About mid-way through season one at the moment, but damnation- this is a really fun show!

I guess there's a difference between being in a fandom and enjoying something? I like Sherlock; I like Star Wars; I like Gravity Falls. But I'm not "Into" them the way I am Doctor Who, or My Little Pony or Cosmere.
