  1. Maybe? Urgh. I'm worried because someone touched an electrical plug of something which I worry has a virus on it. Its a dumb thing. I know its a dumb thing. Virus' can't travel through anything besides software. I -know- that. ...But all I can think about is that no one washed their hands after touching it, and now they're getting dirty stuff everywhere.
  2. And...having an OCD panic attack. This is...great. Just great. The worst part is I know that what I'm worrying about is ridiculous. Its probably unfounded and -frankly- is dumb enough that I don't want to put it in print publicly. ...but still. I'm worrying about it. And I've gotten into a shouting match with my mom over it.
  3. BUT. according to the time stamp, you posted an hour after me! Seriously, I have no idea if I'm posting a minute after people, or hours. Its kind of frustrating lol
  4. ... And...this kind of analysis is why I have sort of faded back a little bit during this game, and stopped playing these altogether. (Seriously. I can't keep up with this sort of subterfuge. At the same time, I kinda desperately want to see a Death Note remake starring you guys.) So... I have nothing to off-set that analysis. So... Alv. Sorry...
  5. II changed the settings so my account here would match the time for the Sanderson Elimination game. Now I have no idea what time it is. Help.
  6. From what I understand, Arrow is gonna start including more "mystic" stuff, which...well, after last year, makes sense. It let's them play more with DCU stuff, and it differentiates them from Flash. As long as this leads to Lemire's version of the Outsiders showing up, I fully support this plan.
  7. For the record, he is also not a vampire.
  8. Sorry! Been doing some job hunting and personal stuff lately, which is why...lack of activity (and roleplay). Though...yeah, not sure what to say, since things are kinda quiet. So... I'm gonna make a post, to at least start some kinda debate here. Voting for Clanky. I feel bad, if it is because of school, but... I dunno. Something about your posts in the other thread seemed...off to me. (Of course, I'm mostly voting so we can get the ball rolling on conversation, so...)
  9. ...You've never seen My Little Pony, have you? Two words: Angel. Bunny.
  10. A simple guide to the Hogwarts Houses
  11. Wait. If you're making origami fantasy creatures, does that mean I'm a replicant?
  12. The Game of Thrones. Favorite non-video game that isn't a lame joke to dodge the question?
  13. Strategy games. I like the diea of them -and I used to play Age of Empires and Command and Conquer when I was younger- but I've never been veyr good at them. Also: the Sims. Again, it sounds like a genre with alot of great comedic potential that I just cannot exploit. Favorite Game Company?
  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EGda9EbZgc Hmm. I -do- think the Helmet looks a little better in the trailer, at least in some scenes; I'm not sure if there is some kind of fold-up panel, or if it's just the lighting, but it does seem a little harder to make out Diggles face, which was one of my complaints. Anyway, the trailer... I like it. In fact, I actually liked it more than I expected to. The bright, upbeat attitude of the opening was kind of jarring, in a good way. Damien Darhk has me kind of interested, too. This is the first time we've seen the season Big Bad in a trailer, right? The Dark Archer and Slade were mid-season reveals, and I think Ra's was only teased before Matt Nable finally appeared... having the show be so up front about their Big Bad is quite a change. It looks like Darhk is going to be much more active as a villain than Ra's was. Also, Nyssa and Barrowman? That's great. And Thea being more violent since her resurrection? I'll have to rewatch Season Three sometimes, but that makes sense, and (spoilers for Legends of Tomorrow) Also: yeah! I did not expect the performance Amell gave. His entry into the ring was pretty cool. Someone said that they'd like to see Stardust make an appearance on Arrow... I'm not sure if I'd want him to be major or anything, but it would be cool if he had a cameo, or a fight in-universe. Or, heck, a scene with Arrow looking at him tied up and muttering "I hate that guy". Totally called the win though. I mean... there's no way they were gonna get the star of a popular TV show into the ring and make him lose.
  15. All-Star Superman is one of -if not my single favorite- comic book, period. Morrison's Batrun is awesome, too, though I need to fill in some of the holes of my collection for that one... Of my current pull list, I think Grayson is my favorite monthly. I didn't read Eternal, but I'll probably be picking up the Batman and Robin: Eternal series once it launches. Also, damnation. Forever Evil was a fantastic event, but Johns has been awesome on Justice League since then.
  16. So... I've been kind of out of it lately. I'll be sitting at home, watching television or reading, or being online or whatever and then just... Zap. All my enthusiasm, and energy will just vanish. Just suddenly get kind of fed up and down, and not enjoying things... It's annoying, since there doesn't seem to be any reason. Just I'll be doing whatever and then "I don't even care anymore. I'll just do it wrong anyway, and I'm not that interested, and bleh..." My mom thinks it might be a little bit of depression, but... honestly, I don't know. I don't want to say that it is that, since I don't know exactly what it is, and I don't want to insult people who are suffering from depression by implying that my lack of energy and enthusiasm and stuff is the same thing... So, um... yeah. Sorry. Kind of a rant that didn't go anywhere, but it's one of the reasons why I've been posting less than I should be in stuff that... I really should be paying more attention too (SE, Heirs, Reckoners...) Sorry.
  17. So... Shield of God I liked it. As Peasent pointed out, there is a little similarity to Norse mythology -the name of the planet has a norse-feel to it- but I like it. Heck, that vibe actually fits very well with the cycle concept; part of Ragnarok includes the fact that the destruction of the world will be followed by the establishment of a new world. As for the five shield bearers... I kind of like the four horseman thing, but Gargoyle might have a point. If you plan on using this as a starting point for a setting, then I'd agree with changing it. It would be a pretty good way to establish some cultural mores for the society in question... and then there immediately is some conflict if people begin moving away from those traditional views. This story has kind of intrigued me as to what this cultures idea of the Devil is. After all, Norse (and other) mythologies tend to go with the idea of the Devil as the Trickster. This society, however, is one that is founded on the belief that the devil has already destroyed the world multiple times. I'm kind of curious how that might reflect onto the rest of society; I imagine that creative pursuits might be more valued (in imitation of god creating the World and the Shield) whereas Destructive pursuits would be the devil's domain, but... that's random spitballing.
  18. Sorry! Been really busy lately... I'll... check this thread and get back here as soon as possible? Sorry!
  19. So, a while back, I started a topic asking if anyone would be interested in an MLP RPG, and it turned out that some people were! I just thought it would be best to try and learn the rules for the system that I found first. And... it never amounted to much. The system in question was really easy to pick up and play -if it had a problem, it was maybe too simple- but I ended up having a lot of problems using the sites official forum, and kind of quietly dropped the whole thing. Since "ponify everything" seems to be a mandate of the RPG section these days, figured I'd give it another go, and see who might be interested! I imagine I don't need to do my "Why A Pony RPG Could Be Awesome" spiel again, so I'll jump straight to the point. Would anyone be interested and, if so, what system would you like to use, since... I've got two. (For the curious, there ARE others, but... these are the only two I'm familiar with right now). Pony Tales: Aspirations of Harmony Pretty simple game-system, which might suit the way people here like doing RPG's. There's enough rules that it doesn't need to be total freeform (skill checks, rules for combat, etc) which might be of benefit to people (like me!) who are still kinda new to RPGing or who want a more "typical" experience... but a lot of it could be glossed over for freeform stuff if people prefer. There's no "flavor" to it, either, which might be a plus or a minus; you could do a game in pretty much any kind of setting you want. (The system has a straight-fantasy variant as well, but why would people on a forum dedicated to a fantasy author want to play a fantasy setting when there are PONIES?) Fallout Equestria PnP And this is pretty much on the opposite end of the bell-curve from Pony Tales. There are a lot more rules (and I've only recently started reading through them), and the game is pretty specific in it's setting. It's based off of Fallout Equestria by KKat, but really, only thing you need to know is "Fallout, but with ponies". The rules seem to match up the original Fallout game system, so that might be a plus. It looks very complicated... but it also seems like it could be a lot of fun and, again, "post-apocalypse" might make an interesting setting to play around in.
  20. I'd say Nightmare Rarity is already the BIG spoiler of the comic, but.. fair enough! I finally got up to date in that series again (I dropped off somewhere around the Iron Pony contest) so looking forward to seeing how they derail Nightmarity.
  21. First off: did anyone see Amell's fight? I watched it on youtube, which might be, er... of dubious legality... BUT ON MATTERS THAT ARE TOTALLY LEGAL. Season Four spoilers

Well I'm sorry, the cities essay on the effects of dopamine on neuronal activity in vitro was just pure nonsense, it hardly cited anything! Maybe if the city does some extra credit we can give it a pass.
