Man, I tried watching that show, and I just couldn't get into it. The concept - much like Battlestar Galactia- is amazing, but I don't think anyone has managed to pull it off quite right yet,

For being the only person on this page (and one of the only active members I know of) who has the default "17th Sharde" title.

Sailor Moon can lead- she was a princess in the past, right? Pikachu can lead the armies, for its thundershock. I believes Groot's philosophical treaties could lead humanity to a new golden age. "We are Groot". Twilight Sparkle, Optimus Prime and Cobra Commander.

As I said in the other topic... I love this song. More and more I love this video; yeah I have a few technical hiccups, like Celestias Rainbow-Mane looking off... but the feels, man. I lose it during the sequance with Luna on the moon and Celestia tucking her in.

Wait, seriously? That's all the pokemon he caught? Ash, you are the worst pokemon trainer. If you're Pikachu wasn't god-tier, you wouldn't have half the badges you do. Anyway...hmm... Without looking it up, name 15 Transformers

Gotta admit, the art style threw me a little at first...for like, a second. Immediately followed, of course, by grinning like a maniac at the animation, and trying not to cry at one of my favourite fan-songs. Also, it gave me a new head canon, so that's always great.

Pidegeotto Caterpie Bulbasaur Squirtle Charmander (Traded for) Raticate Krabby Primape Tauros Muk Lapris(?) I feel like I'm missing obvious ones so I'll wait for confirmation.

I hate this idea. I've already missed so many ranks, and I won't get to play with any fun new Awakener specific rankings until I get to 3,500 points. (On less selfish terms, yes, we should do this.)

You mean the admins have engaged with the dark forces of babaji, and need a sacrifice with exactly 15,378 rep points to secure their dark compacts?...makes sense to me.
-
Uh. Yeah. Same. I just got an upvote on a thread, and I'm pretty sure my rep didn't change. Also. The forum is very slow loading posts I make. Not sure if that's related or not.

This please, thank you. Though Lift seems more likely. I imagine she's being set up for the back five books, so Brandon might want to squeeze some more of her adventures in now.
-
I haven't seen the trailer. And I'm trying not to. I actually want to go in with as little information as possible. ...that said.

Uh, just go it when I tried to click the 'Without looking it up' topic, too.

I'd suggest Warbreaker Stormlight Archive. Yeah, Warbreaker is my "go to" for things... but Stormlight might be a more interesting novel to look at, particularly if you are giving a presentation to people who haven't read it. After all, there is a strong cultural divide between Masculine and Feminine roles in Rosharan society; you could look at how those roles are (ultimately) inadaquete, by contrasting female scholars with the likes of Lift or Eshonai, or comparing Renarin's inability to fight in context of masculine social norms but in- and out- of universe. Heck, with Stormlight, you could contrast how different cultures impose different gender constraints, such as the female king in the Reishi Isles, or the female warriors in the Parshendi.

I mostly know you from your art gallery (OF WOLVES), but someone, I believe mentioned that already. I've also seen some posts of yours, talking about band practice; so I'd say that you're known for playing the flute as well.

8/10 The formating is really elegant. I kind-of think it would look better if it was just the Knight's Awkward mottot -especially since the goofy "er...pianos" part above it kind of throws off the "solmenity" of the Knight Awkward motto, but I like it.

...okay. This is interesting; I've been debating joining or not, since I don't know if I have time to do "proper" roleplay. Still, this seems really interesting so... Can I join?

damnation. I want to say Rysn, since she's one of my favorites, but I doubt shed be that interested in meeting me. But...I have to go with Vasher. Centuries old, so he must have an interesting life and seen some awesome stuff. (And as for heroes... I think Vivenna is one of the cosmeres best.)

So, quick question guys: I want to try and review some fanfiction. (Well, fimfiction, but that's besides the point). Anyway, I was wondering if you guys could give any advice on how to do so. Generally, when it comes to reading things, my "reviews" tend to come down in one oftwo camps; either pointing out problems I had with the piece, or ignoring the reviewing side of things all together and just giving my analysis/interpretation of events. My MLP analaysis/review thread is probably my best example of how I "work", since most of that details what I think "things mean", or how things can be interpreted; long time forum users might remember my running commentary on Featherwriter's work, particularly her Sydney Scroungers Pacific Rim campaign, which would be another example; most of my "reviewing" there consisted of me making speculation on what things meant/didn't mean, and how I thought the group did things well... but I'm not sure if that's the "right" way to do reviews. On the other hand, pointing out problems and flaws I have with something might be easier, but I don't think it's helpful. So... I was wondering if anyone could give any pointers on how to write effective (and useful) reviews and commentaries. Thanks!

For killing the cat. And, also, for the hilarious awful I don't even know how to describe it "Hipster coffee" joke in the random thread.
-
Do you guys ever talk to people, and say something which you mean as a joke or think is funny, and for a second no one says anything, and you start to panic that you aren't funny, and then your friends laugh, but that makes you feel worse because you don't know if they sincerely liked it or are just pretending to to spare your feelings? ...Oh, and pony version is best. I haven't watched it, but I know its the best, by virtue of pony.
