Why would anyone waste Szeth's time to kill Gaz. He is a one eyed guard of the bridgemen. The amount of money he was getting from Kaladin was insignificant, 1 diamond chip a week. He could not have owed Lamaril much, if that made a difference.

I thought that all life cost power, but creating souls perminately used up that power. Ruin and Preservation's powers were only changing in relation to eachother, both were decreasing but the little extra that Preservation gave up made a huge difference ober eons.

Is the Lord Ruler going to have his Atium batteries, like he did when Vin fought him? Or will he be younger. He would definitely have atium. Either way, I dont see how he could lose to Sazed or Marsh. The Lord Ruler just had 1000 years to charge up his Feruchemical stores. Sazed had a few decades, obviously he gets his stores from the Well of Ascension. And Marsh had 2 years, but I dont really know at what particular time he got his Feruchemical Spikes. How much Breath would Vasher get? 5th Heightening? Because that is going to make a huge difference. Also Susebron will have all of his Breath? Because if he does, he should be able to make the entire arena come to life. Also how close to Elantris are we fighting?

I don't really understand Roshar. It just doesnt seem like the type of world Cultivation would inhabit. Shinovar perhaps, but when I think of cultivation, I think stuff growing everywhere, boundless fields of green. Live stuff, not rocks. Unless rocks on Roshar are alive... kind of like coral.

Shardblades are described as weapons "designed to slay dark gods" (prologue) Honor is talking about Odium when he says that he does not know where the Dawnshards are so it can be concluded that Dawnshards could be used to fight Odium, a dark god.

I was wondering if a synonym for Ruin would be Death and a synonym for Preservation would be Life. I was thinking this because Ruin talks about destruction as a part of life. If only Preservation ruled alone, nothing would ever change or die. It would be permanent life with no end and nothing would ever change. I believe that the shattered plains are part of what was once Natanatan what is currently known as the frostlands. The people who live there are blue skinned, and I think that the shattered plains are relatively new. They were unknown until recently and if people went there it was not often. They were discovered by Galivar's expedition when the Parshendi took them to hunt chasmfiends. If they had been around for a very long time, then people would have known about them and the chasmfiends. @Wonko, would Odium need a spacecraft to travel through space? He has enough power to destroy other Shards, he should at least be able to move around with ease, especially if there isnt a shard to fight while moving.

couldn't the shattered plains still be in Dragonsteel? Someone said that the shattered plains were the result of Odium coming back to Roshar. There could be shattered plains in the Dragonsteel world as well if another shard showed up and all Shards changing worlds have cataclysmic results for the landscapes.
