So its been a long time. I have a bad tendency to disappear from places, the internet and RL included. But I was rereading AoL, and came across the section of the Ars Arcaneum where the author talks about the possibility of combining the god metals and the normal metals. I assume that this means that there are 50 different types of Allomatic metals instead of 16 plus the 2 god metals. I assume that someone has already noticed, so I was just wondering if anyone had a link where it was discussed in greater length. @ do you think that a misting would be able to burn 3 metals, one normal, one alloyed with Atium, and another alloyed with Lesarium?

I would like some more info, on why you think this, but I like the idea.

I always thought that you needed to contact a member of one of the Cantons. Dont know which, it was never mentioned. Only a few priests knew anything about the Atium drop in the Kandra homeland. so I assume that they were the ones who contacted them.

I believe that the Apollo missions averaged somewhere around 7 miles per second while going to the moon. At this speed it would take months to get to mars, and Earth and Mars are fairly close by on the grand scale of our galaxy. If you could up it to somewhere around 10000 miles per second, it might be reasonable. Obviously no where near the speed of light, but still pretty dam fast.

Time is not an issue, if bendalloy bubbles compound like I thought they did. A small space ship, and 30 or 40 mistings, and you would not even need to bother with not traveling at relativistic speeds. Or you could always just augment their power with Hemalurgy to save space. The only real trick is getting the bubble to move with you. Or a couple of compounders, but those seem much more rare. I dont feel like calculating it, but say you have enough mistings to slow down time to 1 second of your time for a week of real time, that massively increases your speed relative to everything else.

Final Empire I too liked Vin taking down Shan/ saving Elend, Elend charging into Kredik Shaw to save Vin, only to realize that she was Mistborn, Kel facing the Inquisitor. Well of Ascension When Vin takes over Koloss, Sazed fighting at the gate. And when Sazed realizes that Ruin can change texts. Hero of Ages Kel appearing to Spook, I dont care that it was mostly Ruin, TenSoon taking up Kel's bones. Alloy of Law Ironeyes appearing, Sazed talking. Realizing that the whole crew is somehow incorporated into one religion or another. Wax and Wane killing all the Vanishers at the wedding

I kind of pictured Rioting and Soothing kind of like Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, when you had to speak with people to convince them to like you more, and get either information or quests out of them. However if it was a real rpg, it would be possible to learn hemalurgy, and spike yourself, which would be awsome. You would also need to make Atium so incredibly rare, that it would be extremely difficult to buy, I dont remember the exact amount that it cost in the Final Empire.

Just finished, it, seems to me that there are a few to many mistborn running around.

Full mistborn/Feruchemist might be nasty, but He does happen to have a rather sizable chunk of Atium, and presumably has been storing Feruchemical charge for 300+ years. And he got his powers 300 years ago, meaning that they would be stronger, assuming limited delay of implantation. I also dont know why Sazed would make Spook a full Mistborn and not give it to Marsh as an insurance policy.

TLR was dumb, he should have changed his body to be immortal when he got a hold of Preservation.

I thought that Sazed left a book of all the information that was in his metalminds behind with Vin and Elend's bodies. At least thats where I assumed that is where the info came from.

or 5 bullets to the head in rapid succession. Gold seems relatively plentiful on Scadrial and gold is also a slow burning metal, so he would have had many more years to go. Seems strange that TLR didnt use gold to keep his age down and make him use up less Atium.

I dont know, thinking something with Atium and Cadmium. Gold allows you to see a version of yourself, and Electrum, an alloy of Atium and gold lets you see a past version of yourself. This might be the wrong way around. Cadmium allows you to travel forward in time, so mix Atium and Cadmium, and you get the opposite effect? Throw in a bit of Bendalloy to jump start the process and I figure you could go back in time, or at least get something cool.

Wax could definitely be around 150+ years later, if he realizes that it is impossible to stop the current Set, it would be possible with a few Cadmium mistings, you could slow down time a lot. And I thought that was one of the purposes of Marsh to keep order if someone managed to create a Mistborn with violent tendencies far into the future, so that Harmony could stay out of it and not have to mess with his Harmonic ideals.

Well considering the number of times that Miles apparently had his brains blown out of his hear, his ridiculous pain tolerance, I can definitely see why he is crazy. Makes me wonder if they will have fear factor in Mistborn 2. I also think that Harmony does not bother with the world, but lets it go its own way for the most part.

I believe that Feruchemists are able to be detected by bronze, but it is just more difficult and takes more practice to recognize what you are seeing.

So if forward time travel is definitely possible now if you get a bunch of cadmium burners to stack bubbles, that means that backwards is probably too, at least to a degree, maybe involve Atium.
