  1. Im not sure, people on Roshar seem to be living in stone huts still.
  2. Preservation had to put in a little more to make life sentient. Ruin was ok with it because the little more energy required of preservation provided him with a fail safe in their deal allowing him to eventually destroy it, because he would be more powerful than Preservation.
  3. Agreed, Marsh is iron eyes, cant see anyone making more inquisitors, and it seems rather difficult do do by yourself.
  4. Bad people can still be Honorable. Honor does not always have to be a synonym for good, though it usually is. Kind of like in Infinity Blade where the God King gave them the honor of fighting him.
  5. me too
  6. That is part of the issue, I was thinking history of fantasy or something like that, but it could change at any time.
  7. I am writing a research paper on Fantasy novels, and I was wondering if anyone had good sources I could check out. So far I have gotten: A Short History of Fantasy by Farah Mendlesohn and Edward James, Wizardry and Wild Roamance A study of epic Fantasy by Michael Moorcock, and A guide to Fantasy Literature Thoughts on Stories of Wonder & Enchantment by Phillip Martin. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
  8. Sorry to say it but people like this should be taken out and shot. They do no legitimate work, but one steal from others who have done work through loop holes in our law system.
  9. http://brandonsanderson.com/blog/1027/Mistborn-UK-ebooks-Bulgarian-ALLOY-release-Mistborn-metal-music For those of you who are to lazy to read the link, the Bulgarian copy of Alloy of Law has been released. Too bad I dont read Bulgarian. Gotta love facebook for getting info.
  10. Awwwww. Dragonsteel is not for circulation. That's depressing. I thought I had a slight chance.

    Marsh

Im glad somebody brought up Sazed. It makes sense that he would have at least spoken to Marsh, he did the same for Vin and Elend. The real question is could he survive long enough to get underground. My guess is that he could. With his combination of allomantic and feruchemical powers, speed, strength, healing, I think he could have gotten a fair distance between the time that he killed Elend and the world burned. It makes sense that Sazed would have healed him, or at least done something to him. He healed Demoux, Spook, probably others too. I doubt that the only remaining inquisitor would escape his notice.
  12. Im curious about the fact that if somebody could kill Szeth and take his Shardblade, they would have to be pretty good. Are the Stone Shamans' so confidant in there abilities that they could get it back. People fight wars over Shardblades, and they would not want to give it up, just because the Stone Shamans say it is theirs. The Shin dont seem like such a warlike people, would they fight the Atheli or another nation for a Shardblade?
  13. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11357927?utm_content=author_pos2&utm_medium=email&utm_source=10_newreleases http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11501753?utm_content=author_pos1&utm_medium=email&utm_source=10_newreleases I assume that this is some sort of German Translation of the Wheel of Time? I was really excited, then I looked at the thing and was like This post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rules. Why does this always happen to me on goodreads?
  14. The question is, did Brandon recognize that it was a Zelda reference?
  15. Well making different parts of the environment metal and others not, would be really cool. I feel like it would be a GTA sort of feel, where you have the entire city to learn, but you are bouncing around like spiderman on the buildings.
  16. In the cosmere, nature is much more ordered than our world. Things follow a certain numbers, while ours likes symmetry and following order, it is much less important than in the Cosmere, where peoples' abilities follow a certain number. In the case of Mistborn 16. There are 16 types of allomancers, and 1 out of 16 people snapped when exposed to the mists.
  17. k thanks
  18. So I was reading the short Elantris story, and I came across the Aon Ati, and I was wondering what it meant, and if it had any relation to Ati, the former holder of Ruin?
  19. Dam you. I am jealous. Im not going to get to read it until Thanksgiving.
  20. agreed
  21. I go to ND, slightly closer, but I talked to one of the Librarians as well and it did not seem like my chances were that good. But thats not going to stop me from trying.
  22. Ive red 15 of them, I feel insignificant.
  23. Well that dude is an uneducated simpleton, who probably didnt even read Mistborn because the main character was female.
  24. I was just wondering what the odds of getting Dragonsteel were through interlibrary loan. and is it an actual text book, or a pdf. i always assumed it was a text, but after looking into it, it seems like it would be easier to submit it as a pdf.
  25. I dont really think that an extra Shardblade would help Szeth that much if it was 6 feet long as Gavilar's was, unless they actually conform to the shape of their user's desires.
