Instead of being Honor shattered, could they be pieces of his body, like Atium was part of Ruin's body. He gave up a part of his body, and it made Odium stronger than him.

I heard that Aona is Relief. Is that right?

I want to clarify the Odium question. Odium is obviously one of the shards on Roshar, but were there always three, except for the time when he left. Originally when Roshar was formed, was he there? Could Hoid or any other world jumper pick up different powers on one world and use them on another? For example, could Hoid have gotten Breaths on Nalthis and used them on Roshar? (I also rephrased this one) Also the exchange rate on Roshar is in the book, but not compiled.

I like that, except it is a game with 16 possible options to pick from. Where some options beat the others by more than another option would beat the ones from before. Some are equal, but not Sazed holds two options and it makes them even more powerful because he can play them both at the same time if he feels he needs to. Or something like that. Maybe.

This is a little off topic, but why 1024 years for the Well of Ascension to refill? It happens to be the same number as the number of kilobytes to megabytes and so forth. @doesn't the power of the shards eventually return to where it originally came from after a set amount of time, eg the Atium mines and the Well of Ascension.

I see that but Sazed seems to imply that she was chosen by Preservation when she was very young. I tend to see it more as Preservation's strong influence on her made a natural already strong sense of wanting preservation even stronger. @ I always thought that Vin could not take Preservation because of the Hemalurgic spike that was still in her ear. It was enough of Ruin to hold Preservation off.

All this talk of death made me think of this, so here goes. Could there be a shard that holds death or something like it? I really like happyman's theory, but if it is right, there has to be Death out there somewhere, which allows death to happen in the Cosmere, as there is a shard for everything that a human can do, or at least something like that.

But we need to assume that technology will be progressing at a relatively similar rates as it did in our world. Sel is advanced in somethings but not through technology, you cant count technology that is based off magic. If magic disappeared, then all of their technology would too. Scadrial would still have gunpowder if its magic disappeared.

That would be interesting a space ship lands on Roshar filled with Allomancers to save it from Odium.

It just occurred to me that the second and third trilogies are going to be sci-fy novels. Am I right? If Alloy of Law is 1900's then we are going to have the first futuristic and modern world in the cosmere.
