  1. Pretty well. Though the point of this is not to "make me super" per se, but rather to pick out the Pahn Kahl. Maill has been Spied upon, and is being protected. Gamma: Erm... I can't die for a while. Sorry . I have Returned, Lifeless, Mercenaries, and the Fifth Heightening to protect me. I'm as close to safe as it's possible to be right now. Even if they target me twice each night from now on, I'm still alive for three more cycles, and that's if we don't manage to kill their Swordbearer. Anyway, when I'm out of protection, I'll be giving my Breath away. Nepene's statements seem to be basic conjuncture based on the facts before us. They're the same assumptions as the ones I've made in my Master List, actually. And if my plan were to publicly state something to trick people into revealing their nature as a Pahn Kahl... then it's working perfectly, Gamma.
  2. Hmm... I suppose there's an easy way to do this, though I don't like it. Logically, most of the Pahn Kahl (excepting the Sword-Bearer) should be Drab, and unable to give away Breath. This means those who have not already done so need to give away their Breath. Those of you who can't or wont... you'll need to find a very good reason. Now, I know this won't catch them all, but it will likely reveal more than one of them to us. At your discretion, you may chose to give your Breath away to myself or Maill as he does not yet have a Breath and will need one soon. Now, on to a different matter. Peng. You are one of the only Awakeners to have not used your Breath yet. You could just have been unsure as to what you wanted to do, or you could be the Pahn Kahl Sword-bearer. You have been careful to be active enough to avoid suspicion, yet unobtrusive enough you haven't really been noticed. Once again, do not immediately pile on this vote. I want Peng talking, not killed out of hand. ...I really should have done this when Barty first suggested it. If I had done so, this would have been much more effective. Austre help us all if this doesn't work out.
  3. This is interesting. Unless Wyrm is the Sword-bearer, I doubt that he is Pahn Kahl (nothing is certain however). The fact that Grim had two free Breaths to give away suggests the he won't be Pahn Kahl either. I know what Rick has done with his Breath, and it wasn't put towards "Cuddles." Chide, annoying as it may be, is a true inactive regular, no more, no less. Barty and Meta have both given away their Breath to me, once again, something that is logistically unfavourable to the Pahn Kahl, given that they have already created a Sword. So... have fun with that. Oh, and Wyrm, your List should have Wes voting for Rick. The Vard vote was to show how votes were supposed to be retracted.
  4. The fundamental difference lies in the Spiritual Realm. Observable colour is unimportant. A white wall with a blue light being shone on it is still a white wall... it's just a white wall that looks blue. Light conditions don't matter in Awakening, it's just as easy to use BioChroma at night as it is to use it at midday. Awakening isn't a system based on light, it's based on colour. The light an object is reflecting and the light an object can reflect are completely different things.
  5. As I was asleep at the time, Maill acted without directly running things by me, however, I know he is innocent. Very glad we're finally starting to get somewhere. It seems everyone has stolen my Lists from me though... (I have a copy of pretty well every one of those.) I'm on to you Claincy... Putting Allomantic metals into the beginning of you're write-ups... No idea if they have any significance, but I'll figure it out if they do. : P
  6. Alright people. I have a plan to keep the Pahn Kahl from gaining an Awakened Sword. A few trusted people are going to search for Awakeners of the Fourth Heightening and above. If you are at this Heightening or higher right now, unfortunately you must give up your Breath. Anyone caught over the Fourth Heightening will be lynched, unless you give up your Breath. If you opt to give up your Breath, your night action will be cancelled with an Awakened Rope, and you will be Spied upon to determine your role. It's not a perfect plan by any means, but it will keep the Pahn Kahl from ever being able to kill two people per night. This is not completely set in stone, so what do you think of it?
  7. I voted Dyrri for three reasons. 1. I had a hunch (and as such, told people not to vote with me). Obviously, I was wrong. 2. Dyrri hadn't said much in the main discussion, and as he wasn't inactive, I wanted him to start talking. 3. To see who would change their votes on little provocation. The third is most important. I've repeatedly said I don't want people bandwagoning on my votes unless I provide a good reason. On top of that, I told people to carefully consider before voting with me. Now, look at what happened. A bandwagon on an innocent. I'm going to look very carefully at everyone who voted Dyrri, and even more so at those who voted both Chide and Dyrri. Joe's actions have become increasingly suspicious, yet he was still protected by a great number of people. Why?
  8. That's overstating things a little, Joe. You've acted very erratically, and more than a little suspiciously, but the position against voting for you isn't as strong as I'd expect if you were Pahn Kahl. This, in itself, proves nothing.
  9. Aodan was getting fed up with the near pointless discussions taking place. He wasn't happy about the lack of concrete information gained the last night, but now it seemed people hadn't even learned anything from the last few days, happily jumping on different people to lynch. He needed some air. Unnoticed, Aodan slipped out of the room. It had been a very long time since Aodan had prayed to Austre. Almost a decade. He'd never quite been comfortable with the anomalies in Austrism's history, and the contradictions regarding BioChroma, but if anything could make him start re-evaluating things, it would be the mess he found himself in now. Austre, Lord of Colours... please grant me the strength to deal with these people, and your guidance in finding the Pahn Kahl. So... this is interesting, and very, very familliar. Not so terrible as last time, but I still don't like it. If I were to take a guess, completely independent of the information I'm privy to, I'd say that neither of them are PK. Even with the extra info, the way this vote is going does not look promising. I am going to vote Dyrri for today. Think carefully before following me blindly. Edit: List has been updated. Edit 2 (In bold so hopefully it will be noticed): Once again, could the remaining Hallandrens please contact me with their roles? If you do, it will be far easier for me to get things done.
  10. Thanks. Yeah, it definitely reads better like that. That they aren't. It's funny when an unintentional loop-hole in a magic system you've built turns into an idea interesting enough to base entire plot-arcs off of. Edit: It's been a while since I posted those. Lots of stuff in that story has changed (The first chapter is now the second, the first interlude chapter doesn't show up until after the fourth chapter, etc, etc). It's nice to know what I wrote is alright though.
  11. Wow. Okay. I guess that's another reason why I should get around to actually reading the whole thing. It's interesting that more than one person has come to the same conclusion about them separately though. Has anyone asked Brandon for more info about how they work?
  12. Time for a List, people! Votes: Ver: (0) Jeo Jeo: (6) Cog, Ben, Wil'son, Asgren, Rowan, Rick Chide: (5) Jeo, Wyrm, Rowan, Peng, Grim, Elo Wil'son: (1) Dyrri Bartholomew: (0) Aili Dyrri: (2) Aodan, Aili This is better than last vote's bandwagon at least. I, unfortunately, don't have enough info to make anything more than semi-educated guesses, and if I told you who not to lynch, I may as well be telling the PK who to kill. Bandwagons do not help us at this point so there's no way I can tell people who to kill. We all know how well that worked in the previous games.
  13. I'm going to wait a little on that one, seeing how I never explicitly asked for everyone to reveal their roles. I'm going to do so now. All the Hallandrens who haven't contacted me, please do. Especially if you're in possession of Lifeless Commands as your alignment will be very easy to verify.
  14. That's what I've got my Lists for. It was far too late when Aodan stumbled into his rooms. He thought he might have seen the sun starting to peek over the horizon. Aodan felt like he'd gotten a good start on searching out the Pahn Kahl, but Colours was he tired. Unfortunately, he knew this wouldn't be the first sleepless night before this was all over, and he needed to get some rest before the inevitable round of paranoia-fueled voting that was to come. Crawling into bed, Aodan fell asleep immediately, not even hearing the commotion outside.
  15. Aodan walked back into the Salmon, mulling over the information he'd been given. Idly glancing around, he caught a smear of red on the floor. Colours... is that blood? Taking a closer look at the room, he saw more than a few guilty faces. "Colouring fools! Too busy lynching one of your own to even give me the information I needed to stop you!" Turning, he almost stormed back outside, but then paused. "Those of you who did take the time to contact me; thank you. I'll most likely be contacting you later tonight, after I get some sleep. Those of you who haven't, please do. Only a fraction of the Idrians have contacted me, and you will be just as important as the Hallandrens. Good night." Seriously people. I need anyone with a role, a Strawman or a Heightening to contact me so we can start coordinating our efforts. Between the info I gained towards the end of the last day cycle and the bandwagon, I was fairly sure Swimim was innocent, but it was far too late to do anything. Let's try and avoid another vote like that shall we?
  16. Most Recent Vote Tally: Cog: (0) Bartholomew, Rick, Aodan, Rowan, Dyrri*, Aili* Bartholomew: (0) Fron, Rowan, Grim Aodan: (0) Cog, Gammer, Summon, Bartholomew Rowan: (0) Aili Swimim: (7) Wil'son, Summon, Bartholomew, Rick, Gammer, Aili, Dainard, Rowan, Tril Alan: (1) Peng Chide: (3) Wyrm, Grim, Elo No vote: (17) Aodan, Jeo, Thomas, Sipha Swimim, Alan, Asgren, Ver, Ben, Sart, Cen, Jim Bob, Chide, Fron, Cog, Summon, Wil'son *Indicates that the vote will be negated. I'm going to continue observing. I don't want my opinions to sway anyone, and at this point there's no real reason why they should anyway. I'd also like to reiterate, I would like the Spies, Mercenaries, Awakeners and Returned to contact me as soon as possible. I would eventually like to get everyone's role, but right now I don't have time to sort through it all, so I'm going in order of priority.
  17. Votes: Cog: (1) Bartholomew, Rick, Aodan, Rowan, Dyrri*, Aili* Bartholomew: (1) Fron, Rowan Aodan: (1) Cog, Gammer, Summon, Bartholomew Rowan: (0) Aili Swimim: (2) Wil'son, Summon Alan: (1) Peng No vote: (22) Aodan, Jeo, Dainard, Thomas, Sipha, Elo, Swimim, Grim, Wyrm, Alan, Asgren, Ver, Ben, Tril, Sart, Cen, Jim Bob, Chide, Fron, Cog, Bartholomew *Indicates that the vote will be negated. As things stand, Swimim is going to be lynched. I'm not sure this is best given that he has had no chance of defending himself, but my suspicions have been changed and challenged so many times now that they're basically non-extant.
  18. Unfortunately, that proves nothing Maill. You only need the First Heightening to Awaken rope and negate someone's vote. The Pahn Kahl are almost guaranteed to have an Awakener of the First Heightening. The List is still being updated.
  19. You must be very confused Barty. You're voting for the only person who can and has been proven innocent to the whole group. To answer your question, yes. The Monk has to be a true Idrian. As I understand it, the only roles the Pahn Kahl can have are Awakener and Returned. Your right that sending that PM to all of you was a bad idea. However, since I was planning on lying through my teeth the whole time, there really wasn't much the Pahn Kahl could gain from it.
  20. Yeah, I'm protecting Meta this vote. I know it's worded a little awkwardly, but I thought the coloured text made it clear what my action was. Hmm... So Swimim is the one who claimed to be the Idrian Agent. Well, we only know of one Hallandren Agent right now, and it seemed more that a little strange to me for someone to tell the people they're supposed to be spying on that they're spying on them. Interesting. Very interesting. So, Barty and Swimim. What do you two have to say? The List is once again up to date.
  21. I very much appreciate your efforts Jim Bob, but this time, they won't be necessary. It's time to stir up the pot a little. Aodan slumped, realizing that his arguments were falling apart from his unwillingness to give up his deceptions. Taking a deep breath, he prepared to reveal a secret that would most likely get him killed. "Sorry, guys. Most of you are going to be in for quite a shock. Those who trust me, and those who don't. To my knowledge, there is no second Hallandren Agent. I'm an Idrian, through and through. I'm also the only Idrian who everyone can trust." "I am a monk, a heretic, and a Scholar of BioChroma. And-" Aodan paused, making sure everyone was listening, "I'm completely innocent. I'm starting to believe that Cog may be as well." "Factor this into your decisions in whatever way you most prefer." He turned, picked up his lunch, and left for the patio. I hope this is alright Claincy. You never made it overly clear how to use my role. First off, I apologize to you Hallandrens who trusted me a one point or another. Hero (whom I am fairly confident is trustworthy right now) and I both tried to mess with your heads by claiming to be Agents, and I put in enough info that you believed me. We figured feeding you info you already knew in return for the odd useful tidbit was a good way to put the Idrians ahead. I would ask those capable of protecting me tonight to do so (Mercenaries), for the Spies to contact me, and for all the Awakeners in possession of, or capable of creating a Strawman to inform me. Hopefully we can start finding trusted players and work from there. If you don't like the idea of working for an Idrian, I promise to be as neutral and unbiased as possible, only trying to find the Pahn Kahl. As things stand, my largest suspicion is Barty. I might well be totally wrong, but his actions feel a little off. Edit: The List is up to date.
  22. Colours Cog! I'm trying to be decisive here; stop making me think I'm wrong. Yes, this is an official vote change. While you're still top of my suspects List Meta, I'm not quite so certain anymore. And I can't say I'm a fan of that. Anyway, this Game has gone without a List for a blasphemous amount of time, so here's one: Votes: Cog: (1) Bartholomew, Rick, Aodan, Rowan, Dyrri*, Aili* Bartholomew: (1) Fron, Rowan Aodan: (1) Cog, Gammer, Summon, Bartholomew Rowan: (0) Aili Swimim: (2) Wil'son, Summon No vote: (22) Aodan, Jeo, Dainard, Peng, Thomas, Sipha, Elo, Swimim, Grim, Wyrm, Alan, Asgren, Ver, Ben, Tril, Sart, Cen, Jim Bob, Chide, Fron, Cog, Bartholomew *Indicates that the vote will be negated.
  23. Thank you for not telling all of the story Meta. It only helps rest my case. While I am unsure as to whether or not you really are Pahn Kahl, you're just digging yourself deeper. My defense, properly stated, is such: I can't realistically prove I didn't do it, and nothing I say is going to change that. I do however find it interesting that when two Agents claim roles, one dies that very night, providing a very good excuse for lynching an innocent. The first person to throw suspicion at the surviving agent, just so happens to be the same one who lied about his actions and tried to get Returned to reveal their roles to him under false pretenses. That doesn't look that great, does it, Cog? There's no reason for the Pahn Kahl not to have known Vard's role. Barty suggested three people for the Agents to contact. Any one of you could be Pahn Kahl. They killed the Agent you trust more and voila, we have our current situation. Once again, you're following the same pattern as you have all game so far, someone brings up legitimate reasons to suspect you, and you barely recognize their points before deflecting suspicion. I'm voting for you because you're suspicious Cog. No more, no less. I am a touch annoyed you revealed our communications to the entire group though.
  24. That he didn't. Colours. I have him down as voting instead of being voted for on one of my Lists. I'll have to fix that.
  25. Aodan sat at what had become his usual place in the Salmon, eating his breakfast and pouring over his notes. What could they have gained from killing Vard? He felt like he was on to something, but the answer kept eluding him. He clicked his tongue, absently fiddling with a small obsidian dagger. It was an Awakener's weapon, the deep black was a powerful and easily concealable source of colour. It'd been a long time since Aodan had been in possession of enough Breath to use it, however. It wasn't easy to get your hands on Breath as an Idrian, and being a well-known heretic made it even harder. A voice broke him out if his reverie. "Cog's no Drab. He's been lying to us the whole time!" It was Bartholomew. Everything suddenly snapped into place. Cog had asked to be contacted by any Returned. Cog had constantly deflected suspicion onto others. Cog had claimed to be one of the least important people, despite having obvious influence over the Hallandrens. Now, apparently, Cog had also lied. After writing a few new words into his notebook, Aodan carefully shut it and stood. " My fellow Idrians and Hallandrens," he began, voice carrying through the restaurant. "Right now, Cog is clearly the most suspicious person here. However, that does not mean we should lynch him on principle. We should hear and record his defense first. So, Cog? What do you have to say?" Well Meta. I'm about ninety percent certain you're up to no good at this point. However I am willing to listen. This vote could very easily change.
