Don't you love when you've been singing a song wrong for a month and you have one day to fix it for your audition tomorrow?  Lol. That's about where I'm at rn. 

I’m making a coffee milkshake with my sister. It’s either going to be delicious or disgusting. 

and then I’m gonna dress up just cuz!

The comp yesterday was a huge success. They got first place again, and I didn’t mess up the lights at all! We didn’t get to bed until about 1am. It’s 9 here and I wanted to sleep for much longer, but I’m a light sleeper and my little brothers were screaming at each other at the top of their lungs and then banging on the piano with the volume all the way up. 

Anyways, it was fun. And now I have two days to prep for my audition and I’m Panicking!!! 

YAY FOR EARLY OUT!! Little sis has a show choir comp today and I’m in charge of running the lights for their show, which mainly consists of keeping time with the music and pressing a button when the times come BUT STILL ITS AN IMPORTANT JOB. *superiority*

anyways, I got out of school early to do her hair and makeup so that’s fun. 

I'm officially auditioning for Little Women as Jo. Auditions are on Monday. I'll give updates as the process goes by  My audition song is the first 30 measures of An Operatic Tragedy (including dialogue, which goes to about "she will not be defiled"). If I get a Jo callback, I'll have to sing all of Astonishing, which isn't only a super hard song, but they're also making us learn it completely on our own.  Thank the heavens for YouTube videos.

Anyways, I'll also be reading multiple sides, potentially as several characters, and doing a short dance combo. The only thing I have kind of down and solid at this point is the singing, so you could say I'm a bit... well, behind. lol. 

But yep! That's how life's going rn. I really hope I make the cast; I'm shooting for Jo or a different female lead (Beth, Amy, and Marmie would all be super fun too), but there are so many other incredibly talented people auditioning and I'm so nervous lol. Anyways!

I always forget how long my hair is until someone’s like “woah your hair is long!” And I’m like “…what” and I look in a mirror and literally have this moment of self-realization on a molecular level. My hair is literally waist-length. Almost. It’s to the bottom of my rib cage.
