Rayvyn slips quietly away from the boy who won't talk. Honestly. How am I supposed to spy on people who won't talk, or talk to thin air? In search of someone who will, she sees a girl with a strange monkey-thing on her shoulder. "Hello," she says quietly. @Shadowed

"Some of you get surprisingly sentimental about your little pets. Perhaps the novelty of having something treat you with attention gets in the way of what little common sense you have." She smiles coyly. @UnfortunatelyNamed

"You can't talk, but you can hear, and at least somewhat understand what we're saying. Can you draw your story?"

Rayvyn purses her lips. "Is there something we need to understand? About the dragon scale? There's a dragon outside, and people who seemed friendly with it, should we get one of them?"

Rayvyn squats to study the drawing closer. "We're in this inn?" She asks, tapping with her dagger. "Do you know how to write?"

Rayvyn brushes the mosquito away irritably. Who’d have thought there were mosquitoes here? She follows them into the room, eyeing his paper.

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Rue blinked as she felt surprise and fear through the bond. She started to turn, then hesitated. The moment of fear was gone, replaced with relief and…pleasure? She shakes her head. Wasn’t he going to set wards? What the light is he doing? She decides to head back. She doesn’t recognize any of the plants, and insulting the tree people seems like a bad idea. She returns to the camp.

Rayvyn walked over to the group. She had nothing against adults, dragons, or people reacting to things she couldn’t see or hear, but it made spying much harder. She blinked in surprise at his eyes, her own purple irises widening. “Hello,” she said.

Rayvyn watched him pass suspiciously. He’s not humans, she decided. I would be surprised if any of them are completely human. She stepped back into the shadows, observing where she couldn’t be observed.

The girl—called Rayvyn by her people—eyed him. He seems…human enough. She stared at him. Usually her pale purple eyes kept people away, if the knife didn’t.

A young girl in a cloak, seeming about 15, steps forward out of the shadows. There’s no telling how long she’s been standing there. She flips a knife out of her sleeve and studies it, hoping it’ll keep the multitude of people back. What a strange place.

The council was unnaturally generic.

We just watched the most recent one, we’ve been behind, and then realized we have to wait for the next one. It’s a sad feeling.

I have heard that, it’s fun. Just curious to see if anyone had been submitted to the horror of playing it because I got to play it in a concert last month. 90 flutes is waaaaaaaay too many, especially since they usually have the same part as violins. How big is the orchestra?!?! (Sorry that might be too personal a question but WOW that’s a lot of humans).
