I've been listening to audiobooks/YouTube videos while doing Minecraft parkour all day. I did my first few triple neos. They aren't too hard, though I'm far from consistent. The main thing I did was parkour warrior survivor on MCCI. I even won the whole game once!

It's been an alright day. People keep entering my room uninvited which gets on my nerves a lot for no reason. And I'm definitely not looking forward to having to do weekend homework the next two days.

Egh.

This Spanish assignment is awful. Let me give you a rough translation of the instructions:

Write a reflection about a hobby of yours. Include:
How it has affected your emotional wellbeing, confidence, and personal values.
How friends you've gotten through it have influenced you.
How it has impacted your identity.

Really? You think there's a singular hobby I've had that has profoundly influenced my life and identity and has somehow gotten me new friends? I had the same friends for like eight years, what do you want from me?

Isn't it great when you're at some social function, and a person goes up to you and know you're name, where you went and are going to school, the type of activities you do, etc. and you're just like "hi yes I know who you are." And you're confused and then once you respond to their greeting it gets way too awkward to ask them who they are so you just awkwardly wade through the conversation. It's so cool and fun.

just came home from an audition. It took me four tries to actually sing the song. Yay. The other people in my group still said I did well, but... Idk

It's been overcast all day today, and it even rained a little, which is... unprecedented. Still, far better than scorching summer sun. I'd take cold over warm pretty much every day.

I had a random idea for some sort of short story about about 2 AM. I'm not sure whether I really want to try writing it, though.

First English homework of the year is going great, by which I mean I haven't started it and I need to sleep

I know this is sort of a weird thing to say on a forum full of book nerds, but I really don't like English class. I love reading, and I enjoy some writing even though I'm not really good at it.

I think it's just the essays, and the... school parts. Especially after last year, which was really hard for a lot of reasons, I just already feel exhausted and stressed after receiving the first assignment.

Do any of you remember the kitten I showed off a while back? In case you don't here's a reminder. My brother heard her crying outside at like 3 in the morning. Here are some pictures, then:

Her name is Spinby, which is the result of my brother's sleep deprived nature at the time.

Anyway, like a month later, we found a SECOND kitten outside, probably form the same litter.

He was a lot more feral, but still okay and has gotten better. We found a home for him. My brother named him Jubilee after the Lovejoy song "Jubilee Line."

Finally, less than a week ago, my brother found ANOTHER kitten outside, smaller than the other two. We are fostering him until he's big enough to be moved out and adopted.

My brother named this one Firefly, after the show called "Firefly" he was watching at the time. Good show, by the way.

Well, that's about everything interesting that's happened in this household as of late.

Hi, I'm back. You probably didn't notice me gone, but I was on a trip for 9 days overseas. Technically, it was a mission trip. I can answer general questions about it if anyone wants to ask. It was quite fun, if tiring and sometimes stressful.

I want to say something, but there is nothing to say.

Walking on an old, forgotten trail, living leaves and branches encroaching from all sides, as though wary of what had once cleared then away.

Approaching the top of a hill, the tight passage opens into a vast expanse of downward sloping trees, bushes, ivy. If one fell here, they would not reach the bottom, but surely they would die anyway.

Such vastness is difficult to comprehend, as enclosed as it is. An uncountable infinity of detail one could never see is beneath.

You would be forgiven for believing you could scale the same vastness you see on the mountains in the distance.

My memory is strangely impeded. And I am very nearsighted to my future. I guess I'm locked in this present.

I want out, but I'm always stuck here as long as I am live.

Also, I kind of got my family into it, and they were all a little miffed that I brought them to a movie with a TBC  But they all like it, and my dad even said that although he's sick of multiverses, he liked how the did it and "gives it a pass."
