  1. Could it be...
  2. The thing with Inktober is that I can sit back and see the art of some really skilled people in the Creator's Corner, and enjoy them without having to draw anything myself.

In the visual art, I am not the most skilled. I have made some somewhat impressive things in the past, but nothing in the style or on the level of what these people are doing. I would never have the artistic dedication and skill to do something like Inktober, so I really enjoy seeing all of what other people come up with. It's really fun.

Now, if they had a month where there was a writing prompt for every day...

...What if I just wrote a short story for every Inktober prompt...?

  3. Very indeed, Wizard. It really all just depends.
  4. Bookwyrm stood on the sidelines, watching this interaction, ready to interfere if anything happened.
  5. Bookwyrm paused for a moment. "That..isn't all of it," he said. "And didn't we already-" He froze. Then began to speak in a mystical voice. "As the Ultimate Foe works unending to conquer the countless worlds, the Dragon of Words and of Stories shall watch as the war unfolds. On a distant abandoned globe a secret of truth lies hidden. To the Two who's eyes see all it brings futures and fates unbidden. This Dragon with allies and power shall hunt and discover this secret. With it's light now revealed to his eyes, he must share it or choose to keep it." Bookwyrm came out of his trance and shook his head as if to clear it. "I've never done that before," he said, somewhat surprised. "It's a bit more disturbing that I imagined it would be."
  6. Alrighty. Astrym Calendar: 1067 AA, 0001 NA World Calendar: 0018 HY This transcription is now written by the council of New Astrym. After our defeat in the war with the Gahestian Empire, it was revealed to us that the main portion of our government was untrustworthy and corrupt, and ruled by a malevolent figure. We have formed this New Council of Astrym, composed of our top military leaders, political figures, scientists, historians, and magicians, has declared a civil war against the corrupt government that was misguiding our so called "Republic." A single figure has revealed himself to be an Emperor, a secret leader that was manipulating the original council. He has reorganized those remaining loyal to him into a nation known as the Empire of Astrolog. We, who fight against him, have named ourselves New Astrym. While we have declared war, our objective is not to win. Even though we have superior military might in form of Astrym's airships, we have decided to flee to the frigid north rather than try to reclaim our lands. We want to avoid conflict if possible. Hopefully, we will be able to preserve the free people of Astrym, its technology, it's science, its magic, its history, and its legacy as we flee from the oppressive Empire. Turmoil boils over in the Republic of Astrym. The country splits and re-forms into two nations: The Empire of Astrolog, ruled by a corrupt emperor, and New Astrym, formed of the military officials, scientists, and political figures who were betrayed and wronged by the Empire's corrupt government. New Astrym has almost absolute control over the country's Airships, and using them, they evacuate all of New Astrym's civilians to a frigid island in the north. The remaining military of New Astrym engages the Empire of Astrolog in order to cover the evacuation to the northern island.
  7. Hello, my fellow junior! Yes, someday we will have the ability to have students ask us for advice and be intimidating to freshmen...but not yet.
  8. Bookwyrm blinked and took this in. "Oh." He closed his eyes for a moment, thinking. Then opened them and smiled warmly. "Regardless, we're glad you're back." Bookwyrm's face turned serious. "Something tells me we're a long way from getting a break, though. Something's happening. I can sense it. I'm just...not sure what yet."
  9. I've actually seen this one somewhere. The cat stares at the lizard for about ten seconds before jumping again for no clear reason and running away as if it's life depends on it. Edit: Oh shoot, there were like five pages between the one with this gif and the current one. Whoops. I did not mean to derail your conversation. Carry on.
  10. "No one has told me my place in the prophecy. I've been asking for a long time, too." Bookwyrm said.
  11. Bookwyrm walked into the Lobby. "What exactly happened in there?" he asked Calano. "...And why is Emma frozen?"
  12. It was at this point that Bookwyrm walked in. His eyes widened. "You're back!" was the first thing he said, to Calano. "Does this mean it worked?"
  13. An insane asylum that could safely hold Goomba magically appeared in a place. That place being inside a black hole.
  14. One of my siblings made that exact same joke. I've noticed that in the last few conferences, President Oaks has given talks that seem just as much for those who aren't in our church as they are for those who are members. This time, Elder Holland followed that pattern as well, which was neat.
  15. "And this, kids, is what happens when multiple people who control the fabric of the universe disagree with each other!" Bookwyrm said from somewhere.
  16. Cricket Green had caused Nameless to trip and fall, and then had stolen all of his pineapples.
  17. I think I'll spectate, if that's okay.
  18. Very true. What was surprising was that there weren't any in Utah.
  19. The ninjas unleashed a vicious attack on the denizens of the realm. ...And by the realm I mean there's now a country just called "The Realm".
  20. Seven years passed in about one second. Give or take π zeptoseconds.
