  1. I know I'm responding to this a lot later, but in recent days the term "Wyrmworlds" has come into my mind. That's what I'm toying with right now.
  2. Gets Bowser. Inserts a deadly mushroom.
  3. Bookwyrm stood, paralyzed. That place...it held terror. He was scared of it. The Kaos emanating from it was almost tangible, and it drove his mind away. For some reason, the fact that it scared him so much just made him more curious. Bookwyrm scanned the surrounding area and found a pocket dimension similar in size to the Clinic, perhaps slightly larger. It had a connection to the Prison dimension; a tangible portal that could be used for transportation by those without the ability to do so themselves. The portal was sealed, of course, but that smaller pocket dimension still had a connection to the Prison. A connection he could study. Bookwyrm hesitated. Calano won't be happy if I just leave...technically, I'm not allowed to. I think. Bookwyrm thought for a moment. There's a lot of stuff happening here...but...at least some of it has to be connected to the Prison. I have to investigate. Calano really isn't going to be happy...maybe I should consult him before I leave. This is his home multiverse. He could guide me. Eventually, curiosity won. Bookwyrm decided to leave. Bookwyrm ran to his room and quickly wrote a note explaining the situation to Calano. He sealed with blue wax and stamped it with his personal signet: A dragon and an open book behind a backdrop of stars and planets. He teleported the letter to Calano's desk. Hopefully he'll forgive me. Bookwyrm opened a Wyrmhole to the pocket dimension with the portal to the Prison. Then he stepped through.

  5. After a few hours of research, Bookwyrm was only more confused. I'll bother Calano and Emma later when they have time. Bookwyrm stood up, mentally bookmarking the books he had been checking, then walked out of the Library. I'm just going to start mentally complaining that there isn't much for me to do... Wait. Bookwyrm stopped and closed his eyes, and reached out with his mind. But instead of searching for other minds, he searched for the fabric of existence itself. As a dimensional traveler, he had mastered this skill a long time ago. First, he expanded his view to the fabric of the Clinic's pocket dimension. Once he had a firm grasp of that, so he was sure he could teleport anywhere in the pocket dimension if he needed, he expanded further. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of worlds came into his mind. Some were smaller than the clinic, others were full-fledged universes. These were the worlds that were part of the Clinic's multiverse. One of them was probably the home of Calano and Emma, and another the home of the chickens. Bookwyrm felt that the clinic also had an unusually strong connection to a few worlds beyond the multiverse. He was able to recognize the Cosmere and the Cytoverse among those distant dimensions. But traveling between dimensions that distant was incredibly difficult; a very few people could manage it. Himself being one of them. Bookwyrm turned his attention to the Clinic's multiverse again. He briefly examined a few worlds, curious. One suddenly drew his attention. A smaller world, but still larger than the Clinic. It wasn't too far from the Clinic's pocket dimension, though distance was more of a metaphor when it came to the space between universes. It was dark. Bookwyrm could barely see inside, but something evil swirled in. Bookwyrm mentally tested the world's boundaries, and found that it was heavily guarded, but not from the inside. This universe was a prison. But for what, he couldn't tell. @CalanoCorvus
  6. The small baby dragon found a bush of raspberries.
  7. ...I think I'm just going to stay out of this, because this thread has deviated incredibly from its original purpose.
  8. Bookwyrm walked through the Library, restored by Lark after the second chicken invasion. He walked past the seemingly infinite shelves of sci-fi and fantasy novels, which were (very obviously) popular among the patients. He'd spent a lot of time here himself. But that wasn't what he was here for. He entered the non-fiction section. (Though with dimensional travel, what was fiction and what wasn't became blurred pretty quickly.) He walked past a few copies of books from distant worlds, even spying a copy of Rhythm of War, the original science journal that the fantasy novel was named after. He considered taking a look through it, but decided against it. There were other things he needed to check.
  9. The Ghanderflaffle Empire began a war against the Galactic Empire.
  10. He was also annoying in the way that he stole people's tuna smoothies.
  11. This baffled much of the audience, leaving them vulnerable to Hoid's next strikes.
  12. Bookwyrm reached out to it's essence, calling it back. Suddenly, a distant memory jumped to Bookwyrm's mind. Someone...No one remembered him. He had no form. He suffered. I remembered him...I gave him voice and being... And now I've forgotten. Bookwyrm hesitated, wondering if it was worth it to pursue something that would soon be lost to the waves of chaos.
  13. Bookwyrm narrated the stool back into existence. It sat in front of him. He infused it with the ingredients.
  14. "I think that viewpoint is somewhat in error," Bookwyrm said as he walked out of a Wyrmhole.
  15. Bookwyrm went on a long side quest to gather the Lost Ingredients. Then he took them back to the stool and infused the stool with the ingredients.
  16. Bookwyrm, fighting the conflicting feelings, grabbed the stool, summoned a Wyrmhole, and returned to the normal universe.
  17. Rule 514: Don't argue for too long about unimportant things. It lets the hungry monsters catch up to you.
  18. Bookwyrm cautiously began to explore the room.
  19. Bookwyrm stood up and looked around. Where am I now? he thought. I need to find Eof....
  20. Bookwyrm narrated his pain away and began to heal fully.
  21. To be honest, I had completely forgotten about the Surge of Transportation. And while it doesn't invalidate the theory, it creates a much easier alternative. Still, I think the quantum properties of Spren are something to keep an eye on.
  22. Another mysterious figure appeared and took Bookwyrm away.
