  1. What is the answer to this question? Is the answer to this question no? Have you seen Inception, Interstellar, Tenet, Arrival, and/or Dune, and if so, what is your opinion on them?

  5. What is the answer to this question? Is the answer to this question no? I know you've seen Interstellar and Dune, but have you seen Inception, Arrival, or Tenet, and if so, what are your opinions on them?
  6. You make the assumption that I'd want to live anyone else's life. I like my life. I like who I am, what I can do, and where I'm going. And so does everyone else. I wouldn't fit in anyone else's future, because they each have their things they can and will accomplish, and I don't want to take that away from anyone. And I would be unwilling to leave behind my life, flaws and all. It's too amazing. I hope I'm not misunderstanding the question because then that would be awkward.
  7. Insanity, thus you see the source of the game in our little strain. Also, scud. You do this just to spite me.
  8. It feels like 2022 so far. Nothing crazy has happened. The world hasn't blown up, the aliens haven't come and spoken to us in cryptic languages, and we haven't realized that there was no big bang. That doesn't mean nothing crazy will happen. (And it doesn't mean that there wasn't a big bang. There might have been. The evidence all points to a big bang. But no one can be sure.) Yes, but it turns out that humans are by nature the children of an eternal being with infinite power, so someday we might be like that as well, which is pretty cool. I don't know how my socks taste.
  9. Anything? In all seriousness, to go off one of Cinnamon's questions, have you seen Dune? And if so, what is your opinion of it? And to go off of that, have you seen Inception, Interstellar, Tenet, and/or Arrival and if so what are your opinions of them?
  10. It's a trend now! I'm doing it! I normally don't follow trends, but if I'm following any trend at all, it's a trend on the Shard.

Everyone wants people to ask them questions on their AMA.

    So...

Come ask me questions on my AMA, please. I'll even be helpful and put the link here for you.

  11. Drunk on sleep is when you're in the middle of REM and someone wakes you up and tries to have a conversation with you.
  12. There's a blanket that I've had for quite literally my entire life. For some reason, when I was little, I would just feel one of the corners between my fingers. And it always had to be that one corner. Fast forwards so many years and I rubbed it between my fingers so much that it frayed and tore and now it's basically a big hole. But small threads from that get tangled into these weird little clumps of string that I still like to just roll between my fingers. It feels good. My stash of stuffed animals has unfortunately retired as I've grown older, though...they all live in a box now.
  13. *@That1Cellist taps me on the shoulder* "I've been attacked." - Me. "Attack [Bookwyrm]?!" *Pulls of her shoe and brandishes it threateningly* - @Ranryu

  15. "Sure," Avi said. "Give me a minute..." She climbed to Il'anque's rope, then carefully used it to navigate the roof section. She managed to finish the worst part, then passed Il'anque and climbed a little higher until she had a good view of the cliff above her. A vision suddenly struck her; she and some other Acolytes standing on a strangely wide crystal formation jutting from the cliff's face. The vision ended, and Avi glanced up. A fair distance away she saw the corresponding crystal formation, large and domineering compared to the rest of the structures on the cliff. That's...strange, she thought. Her visions had never been that specific or utilitarian outside of combat. "I see a large crystal we can rest on," she called down to Il'anque. "It's just past halfway to the peak from here. If we're lucky, nothing will try to kill us, and this last stretch will end up being the easiest." @NerdyAarakocra @Frustration @Channelknight Fadran @Anyone else in Fadran's party who should come roleplay with us again
  16. Is the answer to this question "no"?
  17. I'm re-reading the series now to get refreshed for Stellarlune. Once I've read it, I can come back here. I'm on book 3, but I should have quick access to all of them after that including Stellarlune, so with luck it shouldn't take long...
  18. Those words. Subversion's words grew inside Bookwyrm like a plague. The knowledge that his powers caused chaos and fear and death to innocent souls was too much. Why? What is it about the nature of a narrator to create such chaos? He thought. It's the way of the world, a voice told him. You cannot be blamed for the nature that permeates the fabric of the world. You are who you are. Forgive yourself. You could do that, another voice claimed. A voice that seemed to be cloaked with his own identity, but had an unfamiliar heart of darkness. We all know the truth, Bookwyrm. You were never different than any of them. In every way you claimed and acted to be better. But you're simply the same. A Narrator like any other. Accept it. He had retreated beyond the physical world, but the turmoil only grew within him. Character development in TLT is rare, but it does happen...sometimes...
  19. Bookwyrm's eyes widened. "You've met-" then he paused. "Never mind. Now's not the time. But that's a very nice world indeed. "Anyway. I think our best option would be to find our own samples in the wild. It shouldn't be too difficult, unless I'm greatly misunderstanding something..."
  20. Bookwyrm raised an eyebrow. "That's a possibility?" He looked at his mug. "Also, what kind of tea is this?"
  21. Dreamscape: Sixth Archive Pathway - Hallway Burning tin, Bookwyrm could spot the large intricate door at the end of the hallway rushing towards them as their "floor". He quickly made them weightless, and after a few moments air resistance pulled them to a stop. He positioned them in the right way, then ended all Lashings, dropping them back to the floor. Weird how gravity works in dreams, he thought. They were only a short walk from the entrance to the Archive. "Here we are," he said. "Our second archive. Out of seven. Let's see how this goes." @CalanoCorvus @Shadowed @Thaidakar the Ghostblood
  22. "All I know is that we are a weird @Shining Silhouette summoning cult." - Me
