  1. I'm not sure that is actually true but if so it would be an explanation.
  2. Sure but I was the first one to think of it and as Hoid said timeliness is the most valued attribute (I could also add 2 Dawnshards and still have 38 points left over)
  3. None of those WOBs contradict my statement; just because Fortune can work in one specific way doesn't mean it can't also work in another way. Pretty sure once you introduce a spiritual realm (which Fortune dabbles with) where everything exists all at once causality becomes a bit looser (which Brandon himself has acknowledged)
  4. We don't really know how Fortune works but Khriss does think it can be used to manipulate luck
  5. Chromium compound (24 points) enough Fortune that y'all all die in increasingly implausible ways leaving me the winner by default
  6. WOB is that it had at least enough of a noticeable effect for Wax to know something is up and will have a continued noticeable effect for him to actually figure it out. I'd argue magnitude of scale is very different as is the way it's framed. I'd have to reread the passage but I think they lampshade the pull in the text so this might actually be author error. Unless some metals are hard to leech due to existing elsewhere in the body such as the iron content of blood? Also leeching isn't instantaneous; it's possible to have been leeched but trace stores remaining.
  7. Well it's also implied he was able to subconsciously burned copper while Marsh was using emotional allomancy and I think iron when recovering his effects while falling.
  8. I think they weren't actually Skybreakers or related to them in any way Brandon would have just said so. The fact that he talked around the topic implies that there is something more going on there.
  9. We also have no idea on why Vasher can worldhopper or why Breaths seem easier to transport. Honestly he should be who the Ghostbloods are after.
  10. Ferrous also seems like it will be reworked. I assume it will just generate metal instead of turn its user into a corpate. Bestarin will probably still exist since I assume the pairing will still be going on between Aethers but I assume that one will also be tweaked, possibly even grosser now.
  11. Two great colors go great together.
  12. As in pertaining to symbolism representing female genitalia? That was the intended meaning? Edit: actually rereading the passage it makes sense given they were discussing the phallic nature of the tower
  13. Might as well add some veins of silver to your aluminum arrows as well to deal with aetherbinding creations
  14. First of the Sunners Edit: Might be mixed company with some cosmere aware but predominantly First of the Sunners and told on that planet.
  15. Could be single Dustbringer with squires from a few others who are within 50 miles but as it stands that compelling evidence for 12 squires to a single Knight
  16. Do we know how many squires one Dustbringer can support? A dozen sounds more like a Windrunner thing, I assume the other Orders get less per Knight.
  17. While I do think there is a connection there that is speculation only.
  18. Tamu Keks, fainlife bones that possibly work like spanreeds? Dakhor monk abilities are obviously tied to bones as well. It's one of the Ten Essences and possibly related to 13th Aether.
  19. With AoN there's 3 other Aethers possibly known (Ferrous, Bestarin, Illuminous) which leads credence to the theory that 10 of the Aethers correlate to the Ten Essences with the remaining two probably being Midnight and Illuminous. I think the prevailing theory is that the Bone spores is connected to Sandmastery with the locals just thinking it's a new type of Aether due to the similarity. The discussing about the colors of the presumed bone spores is similar to the the sand changing colors as its invested state changes. As per DSP Fainlife possibly has an adverse reaction to silver (possibly also related to what's going on with Threnody) so that could be a connection although in his WOB he seems to consider Fain and Aethers very separate. I think they are just actually laptops but use Awakening for some of its functions.
  20. How I see it is that Hoid could probably add an Aon with the same meaning as the morpheme a-/anti-/un-/de-/dis- or something similar in front of "to the Sorceress" to make it "away from the Sorceress"; as for the "to be cursed" part I think Hoid could get around it by specifying what the curse and boomer humor his way out by viewing marriage as a curse. And then he lies to Tress and Charlie while making the latter write unnecessary poetry.
  21. I’m not disagreeing with that, just that due to realmatic nature of the cosmere “thinking” might operate a little differently. Even when decapitated the cognitive self sees the both parts as still one entity sorta (at least that is the case with Spren making fabrials work). So if the burning happens in the cognitive realm at all in anyway it might be possible for a detached head to tap goldminds in the body via that cognitive aspect connection and then who know which part regrows.
  22. I wonder if it’s even necessary for the goldminds to be in the head. In Dragonsteel Prime when Hoid gets decapitated he regrows a new head which surprised him since he believed he would regrow a new everything else.
  23. Releasing the kandra doesn’t mean some of them can’t decide to serve him of their own volition. That being said Ulaam felt more 17th Shardy than anything else.
  24. Not sure why that would matter. Raoden was born pre Reod. It doesn’t matter when they were born, but when taken if even that matters. Even before the Reod it probably differed person to person, like Galladon’s father doesn’t sound like he would have been so wacky. Shai seems more like a caricature which implies a personal choice, either consciously or not.
