  1. They are called "The Stormfather" and "The Nightwatcher," which sounds a whole bunch like titles rather than names. But they are also Spren, who are sentient pieces of investiture given shape; they might not have names, or their true names might be unknowable to mortal ears.
  2. I hope not... Adolin should be the Kholin that isn't a Knight.
  3. Roshar could set up a whole bunch of alerter fabrials linked up to spanreeds as a form of radar. Thus they know where planes are
  4. Brandon's key board
  5. So this is a Knight/kaladin fighting a Fused/Szeth in a Highstorm/Everstorm. They aren't very good keteks but its an ai so what do you expect
  6. Ah it's magic, it's good when even the admin don't understand it.

  10. I just imagine they do a triple backflip through the air while shooting off coins; I wonder if the steelsight would help them get around zinc's issue of not being able to take in more information, with 360 magic vision being superior to regular vision. Perhaps a better steelsight would be their resonances since you could fill in the blanks of lines much easier. Since I feel copper "pulls" the pulses into themselves so they can't be detected, and tin pulls your senses, perhaps you could pull on other's senses and make them blind or deaf? As for names i've got nothing.
  11. I really hate my teachers; they decided to give us four packets to annotate (around six pages each) and make us write three paragraphs on one of the packets. Then they also gave us a 44-minute video to watch and take notes on. And the best part? This is just one freshman honors class! My teachers forget that our lives really shouldn't revolve around homework, one of my teachers for this class has a phd and wrote her thesis on teenage motivation, so she thinks she knows better.

      Agreed, Willshaper.

I definitely like the will shaper's magic more and the willshaper oaths make more sense to myself

    4. The Paradoxical Phenomenon

      The Paradoxical Phenomenon

I think that’s the most important part. For example, I really connect with the Windrunner and Stoneward oaths, but I connect much less with Lightweaver and Willshaper oaths. Skybreaker, Elsecaller, Bondsmith, and basically all of the other orders oaths I can connect to, but not to the same degree as Windrunner and Stoneward.

  14. Every time I take it its sooo close between Lightweaver and Willshaper. Two times I've taken the quiz I'm pretty much an anti-bond smith
  15. But it's not on a dish, and it goes squish I wish for a magic system
  16. I basically imagine Tress with chickens, maybe with blue eyes instead of green, probably around 16? Oh yeah, you use other pronouns what are they?
  17. Close you got the hoodies and glasses right, but not quite reclusive, I speak to quite a few people (mostly in school).
  18. Yeah that's what I meant by "it would be very hard to remove large amount of your investiture without killing yourself."
  19. While yes, you could use it to remove connections, please don't forget you are ripping a piece of your soul out, and no matter how good you are, you'll take some stuff you don't intend. Additionally, doing hemalurgy in combat is almost impossible (without some fortune stuff, like atium.) This also covers while you are possessed or Withering from a shade since it's hard to focus while something influences your mind or body. On that note, I'm not sure you could spike out a shade's withering without a lot of practice since it's pretty much replacing your innate investiture with the Shade's; it would be very hard to remove s large amount of your investiture without killing yourself.
  20. Oh I know, this is more of a PSA to everyone because I am over people arguing that it doesn't work like that. Like always, Sazed really need therapy.
  21. Over my time on the shard, I've seen so many people misthinking how merging two or more Shards would work. People very commonly think that the Shards keep their intent separate because Harmony doesn't know what's going on and keep talking about the two Shards he holds. My theory works on the premise that when Shards merge, their intent combines and does not remain separate (Its been said Harmony holds one shard, not two). Ex; Harmony is not driven to preserve or destroy but rather he is driven to "Preserve to further Destroy" or "Destroy to further Preserve". The reason he struggles to act is not beccause he's at war with himself, but because his intent is dificult to properly command. Recently, I saw people talk about how Ruin and Cultivation would make a good pair and somone else argued that because they're oposed, they wouldn't. But it realy doesn't matter if their intents are oppisites, as when the shards merge their inntents merge and temper each other. With Cultivation focusing on improvement and ruin on decay, they would mellow out and focus on change both to improve and weaken. Thoughts?
  22. I procured the Color of Magic from a different library, and it very much felt like Pratchett's first book. The writing felt diffrent from his later ones but still very good. It filled in a lot of the world-building the other books left open and had some witty jokes, also @The Last Fæ I understand your location now. I'm curious about what the spell is and if he will ever cast it. Ive also read some of the watch books which i'll talk about tomorrow
