it's my two year shardiversary
would you look at that.
i love you guys so much, and i love the cluster of friends i made over here, the hunger games really make my life so much more fun. Amyra Ay has left an imprint on me (name change? ookla the amyra? what do we think). all of my shardbuddies: i love you guys, really, you've made my time on the shard so much sweeter, and have been so supportive as i wrote new, different characters and just played around on various threads with y'all. you guys deserve shoutouts so here we go:
@SymphonianBookworm you've been incredible. we know this. i couldn't have asked for a better irl friend. more will come tmw >:) but before we get to that, largest shoutout of them all for introducing me to the shard and all these people. i love you amazing amounts for everything. you're the best.

ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE

Here's one of my big theories (massive spoilers jsyk)
Spoilerok i think that Miguel is actually the prowler of his world. think ab it: 1. he doesn't actually have spider powers, he has to inject stuff into himself to be spidery. 2. he isn't spidery at all, his actual powers are, like, claws and teeth and stuff. prowler vibes? 3. he has a similar theme to uncle aron's. less "AHH RUN" and more "i am going to get you and there's nothing you can do about it." but similar nontheless. 4. he is similarly wrapped up in good and bad, like the other prowlers we know. uncle aron is a villain, but he's not evil. he wouldn't hurt miles, and he really loved him and helped him be himself. 42 Miles prowler- he is a villain, but he's miles. we know what a good person he is, despite whatever circumstances drove him to villainy. Miguel is a bit the inverse but still similar (and the inverse-ness fits with his faked spider powers). he thinks he is trying to keep the spider-verse world from falling apart, which is good, but he's also violent and angry and maybe not so good after all?
anyway that's just my little theory that i think would be fun if it was true :)))

here's my one other little theory thing (not really a theory, idk what to call it):
Spoilerok so you know how the void thing was caused in Mumbattan because miles saved the police captain and the little girl? and how he disrupted a canon event in a different universe and that's why it started disintegrating? what if he finds out a way to save his dad in his own universe by himself? if he found a way to save his dad somehow without any help, then his universe wouldn't unravel, right? because there wouldn't have been interference form other universes. (except, y'know. miles. but idk whatever)
because like Mile's thing is "anyone can wear the mask, anyone can be a hero, i make my own story" etc. while miguel is methodical and cold calculation and holding everything together and making sure canon events happen.
idk it's not really a theory just maybe a path the plot might take? but i'm probably wrong ab this one and also it doesn't make a ton of sense so whatever
oh also
Spoilerim gonna write an essay ab uncle aaron and the prowler miles 42 and stuff because in the first movie there are a lot of clear signs that if miles had not been bitten, and hadn't become a spidy-man, he would have followed in uncle aarons footsteps and become a prowler or a villain. i always kind of discounted that aspect of the movie because i didn't see how it was relevant to the plot anymore but HOLY FRICK DUDE!!!!!!!!! as you may have noticed that is now an extremely relevant part of the plot and i happen to have a lot of free time cause y'know summer and i've never written a theme analysis essay about something that i was actually interested in so ye here we go

to anyone who might be reading this who is gay, lesbian, bi, pan, omni, poly, ace, aroace, trans, enby, demigirl, demiboy, genderfluid or ANY other queer identity, out or not - i love you, i support you and i’m proud of you for being your true self. if you’re questioning, or still struggling with self-acceptance or acceptance from others, you will get there. it might take weeks, it might take years, but i believe in you. you deserve nothing but absolute support and acceptance from yourself and others around you. and if you’re not getting that, then i’m really sorry. but, and i can promise this, it will get better. you got this :))
i also think i should take this opportunity to mention all the brave, strong queer people who came before us. without them, we would not have a month where we are free to be ourselves. we would not have civil rights laws protecting against homophobic discrimination. we would not have the incredible community that we have now. i will always be so, so grateful for every sacrifice they made so that i could be writing this post freely and without judgement.
also - i’m not saying the system is perfect now. unfortunately, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and general discrimination against the queer community still happens, and i’m sure most LGBTQIA+ people on the Shard will have experienced it from someone, at some point in their lives. but we’re making progress, and we’re changing the way people view us, one glittery rainbow at a time. ✨

Hello ladies and gentlemen.
As you may recall, on the 12th I promised my beloved Luna, my moon and stars, that one day I would marry her. or, to be more funny (and also less funny and rather cringe) *ahem* "wife her up." (you may laugh, cry, or scold me now)
Anyways.
Tonight was our first date after this promise. We listened to music and danced for a bit, then took her dog on a walk.
During said walk, we discussed the future.
Our future.
Here is what we discussed:
Spoilerhousing for the future:- victorian style house, renovation will most likely happen- big library instead of living room- no formal dining room- it’ll be in oregon, maybe salem- basement will be gaming area/snack bar- bay windows
- open floor plan: wouldn’t want to have too many walls between each other now would we? gotta have those little moments where i just watch her do smth and then we smile at each other (i fantasize ab the little things)company in the house:- children yes: in her words, “this is not up to discussion.” good thing i agree- pets: def a dog, a big mountain dog most likely. maybe a cat. and we’ll domesticate the wild crows.other things:- she wants a garden and a music room. she’ll grow mint, other herbs, and maybe some fruits and veggies- im reconsidering a mission… would it be out of love?? probably. i could request a service mission, or the two of us could do an old couples mission in the future. idk, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.if you have questions feel free to ask :]

@TheAlpha929 dude my dad didn't go on a mission and he's the bishop of our ward ಠ_ಠ not that that's what i measure "manliness" by but maybe you do idk. No one *has* to go on a mission, missions don't necessarily turn anybody into men, no need to stress doomie out. He should do it because he thinks it's what will be best for him and the people he loves, not for any other reason.
Also, funny story, if my dad HAD gone on a mission he wouldn't have met my mom, and BOOM, no me, so.... if there's a god up there it's path is different for everyone :/

A Two is someone who cares.

I’m a Two, and I have two hearts.
One for me, and one for everybody else.
My heart beats slowly, softly, with just enough love that I don’t hate myself unless I get in a really low spot.
My other heart, the one for everyone else, beats powerfully, loudly, with a love that aims to fix everyone's problems.
I hate to see people in pain. I hate to see people cry. I hate to see people love, and then be broken by love.
I hate it. I hate it so much.
They don’t deserve it, they never ever do.
They deserve love, not heartbreak. They deserve peace, not pain. They deserve warmth, not cold.
If I could always have a sign that says, “Hey, if you’re having a hard time, ask me for a hug or some consoling words,” I would.

I feel like such a mess right now. I'm sad and angry and confused and I don't know what else. I'm gonna have to not be on the shard for the summer and it's so sad. I don't want to have to say goodbye, even if it's just for a few months. It doesn't help that they took my phone for an undetermined amount of time, so I can't even talk to anyone else. I don't want to lose the friends I've made on here. I don't want to feel alone again, even though I'm almost always surrounded by people. This is probably my last day, I might be able to get on tomorrow, but probably not. I guess I just want to say goodbye. Thanks for being my friends everyone.

oop sorry it took me so long to reply. He does sort of crazy 80's style electronic? his music is a little insane, i think he has what you would call a cult-following (sorry if i'm using that term wrong ahahaha i don't really know what it means). i personally eat sleep and breath his stuff but it is bat-sh t so be warned lmao. it's super catchy!! all of his songs just scratch my brain.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THE LOCKED TOMB SERIES BY TAMSYN MUIR. It'a about lesbian necromancers in space. Absolutely god-teir. The magic system is possibly better then a sanderson one and the creativity is unmatched. The plot is absolutely wild and the lqbtq+ rep is excellent.
