    Today I saw something I consider both absurd and hilarious.

    I saw someone wearing a mask in a parking lot-

    I know, I know, people still do, or maybe they have covid or something, but...

    They were also wearing a certain controversial hat too and I just burst out laughing when I saw it.

    I'd nearly managed to forget masks and the hat's existence, but like- hah!

    Idk if anyone else will find this funny, or even get it, but I thought it was.

    The dragon slid forward, entering the halls nearby. Thaidakar formed into his human state, striding to the door, his robe rippling behind him across the carpet. His eyes held an exhaustion that cannot be healed by sleep, an exhaustion of the spirit caused by a wound made long ago. He rapped his fist against the door. The world was different now, in Thaidakar's eyes. He felt tired, oh so tired. He'd never in his life felt so much like he just wanted to curl up and die. He didn't know why, they'd won, after all, but... that didn't change it. He felt like a shattered vase with a quarter of the original plaster missing.

    Just remembered a dream I had a few nights ago.

    The dream was for like half an hour real time, but it was a second dream time. 

    Basically, I went to sleep after waking up at my alarm and woke up at like 7 something and was like "Why the storming rusts is Odium trying to eat my bedside lamp?"

    that makes sense, but for me I guess the reason why I love it so much is that Dalinar's arc resonates with experiences I've had very well (though they were of a far different sort). Then there was the battle of Thaylen Field. How can that not be the best battle Brandon has ever done? I know, I know, the stuff in Words of Radiance, but sheer numbers and the amount of awesome moments? No other time can compete. And, besides... Renarin and Jasnah had a fun moment, so... that's just the cherry on top that makes it my favorite.

    The aftermath of roleplaying is listening to the French version of Golden Hour and being in tears because you know he could've been good with her, but she stopped loving him after she died and came back after he'd spent every single day in despair when she was gone, every day a living nightmare, until she came back and said that she didn't love him anymore, breaking him fundamentally. And, yet, he can't show it. He never could. He had to move on and forget her, fighting when he needed to fight. He was never allowed to grieve for the love of his life because... she never truly came back to him. No, not truly, not ever. 

    Ahh... those were the days.

    Too bad it wasn't well written.

      I heard that tomorrow is that dog's finale too.

      If you can't guess, the character is Zave. I wish I'd have written him getting mad at Kennz after she dumped him- The pure rage in Zave would've been completely earned after not having it for ages and ages... The Adolin of the group.

      Yep. Tomorrow is That Dogs finale sadly. I hope to be there for it. 
       

      yes I guessed it was Zave. It would have been cool to have gotten into his storyline, never ended up doing that though.

      Yeah, his storyline was not super well written on my part, his character was so wonky and was changing like every few months into someone new. It was a bit odd to rp. His western phase was the best though.

    When you realize it's probably weird that you're looking at baby name lists for characters you write who are a good many years older than yourself.

    Maybe I can drive by the cemetery to find some more names-

    Any suggestions for a pov character who's gonna be the main of the main characters' love interest? I've been searching for a name but I just can't think of one. The stand in for now is Trevor.
