Aeoryi case: Originally found this post to be clearing, but upon further reflection of Aeoryi's elim play I don't think that's a smart clear. Aeoryi plays very aggressively, isn't afraid to bus, etc. If anything, this post is elim sided as Aeoryi did fully openwolf for no reason while being pushed in the LG, but I'm aware that's confbiasy for me to say and I'm content to just erase my v points here. Moving on. Here is the first example of what I was actually alluding to-- it actually reminds me of how I play elim, something Archer caught me on during that same LG: keeping every possible option open. Point 2 is textbook that (I know, I'm biased, I know :P) but that's exactly the kind of thing I would say after a few Mat ??? reads appeared. Point 1 about you is weird because it feels like it's trying to be an e!you point but it's really not so idk More of the same Non-committal shady reads list which wouldn't bother me as much save for their read on you-- it progressed from 'probably village' to N+. Sliding down the ranks. I'm not like extremely confident or anything but Aeoryi's positioning here doesn't feel village to me an also doesn't feel familiar. Maybe that's indicative of v!Aeo as I just elimmed with them but it doesn't feel like that. That was one of many reasons we lost that game I just as easily could have had you submit the kill. I don’t think I did. Which one? I like TKN doubling down on his reasoning and explaining it in a way that makes sense. Feels village.

Missed this because I’m not used to my own Ookla name .-. I feel it’s e leaning because we lose most of the pressure that comes from shuffling votes around during the cycle. The orange votes aren’t a great substitute because they’re not real but it’s better than nothing. As for how it should be used, I think the wrong answer is last second, honestly. Last hour is much better, it gives time to respond to things and for votes to bounce off each other. There’s something to be said about voting early early but that’s only good in specific circumstances (sorry :p) Apologies if that’s overly scatterbrained, I’m half paying attention to something else as I’m typing this lol Very high WiM for a newish player which is awesome, but their play is pretty unpredictable. Their second game I locked in a correct v read early on for a reason I don’t remember, but I solved them early on. Their third game we were elims together and they proved to be very good at matching their v tone, and played very aggressively, arguably too much so Their WiM so far seems to match, which is expected, but what I think is different is the angles they’re pushing. They seem to come from an e mindset. Could specify more later if you want. But again, hard to say for me, after just coming off being their teammate for their first elim game Now to submit and hope this merges wheeeeeee

I think you’re misusing the word ‘fishy’ here. Mixed vibes from Aeoryi. They seem weirder than before but it’s hard to tell after elimming with them. Definitely not getting the strong v vibes I got from them two games again though. But it is early. The main thing stopping me here is the self vote but I have firsthand experience with their reckless e play, so there you go :P. If the cycle ended right now I’d vote them I think. Illwei feels village so far but iirc I was horrible at reading them so /shrug I like the questions Stick is posing but I trust nothing I’m seeing a lot of statements and reads being made in a state of ignorance (such as Raven reading Kas e) which makes the last four pages feel largely like fluff.

Yeah, Aeoryi, that post you linked argues two main points: that it discourages others from voting you, and allows you to swing the trains easier if you do get wagoned. The first point is the scummy thing I was mentioning earlier— doing something anti-wincon solely to get village read is bad imo— and the second point is completely inapplicable in a game where your vote is semi-permanent. Playing anti-wincon = bad also will note that you made those points as an elim Edit: Ignore me the above point is completely false

WHY serious question maybe this is just something I as a player do not understand but in this game especially, how is self voting not, by definition, gamethrowing??? and this opens up a whole can of worms like now I want to clear you but that feels extremely scummy and supportive of this action which is literally never a good decision such an overreaction which is an ironic statement for me to make I know but this should not be a thing that happens anymore Agree with Aeoryi here ig, didn’t feel out of character to me I kind of agree with Stick re:TKN but am not sure.

I know @Archer (now an Ookla) at least was able to change his member title so it’s not a site-wide problem. It’s a problem for me on all browsers and on mobile so I assume it’s a problem with my account specifically. I guess you wouldn’t know how to fix that. Still, though, any ideas would be appreciated… maybe the error code is useful? Not sure what the use of those is.

Changed name for Ookla Season. The site still won't let me change my Member Title since the site update but I put my old username (Matrim's Dice) in my signature. It's not viewable on mobile but it's the best I could do. Pfp remains unchanged, as usual.

From my PoV, the e!SB world must be critical enough to be worrisome, and I just wish I wasn’t the only one who’s worried. I’m totally fine. It’d be dumb not to be resigned to this. If you think I’m implying that Kas is e or that I don’t know how much Kas has put in the game you’re dead wrong on both counts lol Too late in that me being falsely accused here means the elims likely think they can win today/tomorrow. Otherwise they wouldn’t have faked this thing.
