  1. I think this is accurate-- Devo (1): Kas Raven (1): Mat Wit (1): Aeoryi Ash (2): Stink, Archer Archer (2): TJ, JNV Which is kind of eye opening because I thought Devo was still in the lead :p. I should be paying better attention. Ash
  2. You weren’t inactive, but you also didn’t post anything game related the vast majority of the time. That’s a notable difference to this game so far. Like I said, it’s not a read I’m happy with, but it’s there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  3. I'd cut out Wit. I kind of read Stink as evil for engaging with the game, which feelsbad, but after the LG I feel like that's mildly justified :P. But I also support the Ash pressuring as so far the applied pressure on Devo, Raven, etc hasn't done much.
  4. When Shay was far enough from the camp for her fellow Radiants to appear to be the size of cremlings, she stopped. Surely that was far enough for her thoughts to settle. On instinct she reached for a practice sword, but of course none were there. She slipped into a kata anyway, hands held out in front of her, clutching the empty space as she moved. The lack of weapon made it feel even more like a dance than usual. Shay soon slowed, already feeling a greater sense of calm. Out here, in the open landscape, the Horneater Peaks rising in the east, she could almost forget the crisis unfolding behind her. Almost. She had bonded her spren to help people. But this wasn't what she'd had in mind. She shouldn't have to clean this mess up. And yet. Despite her feelings, Shay was among the most vocal of the Radiants regarding the invasion. Most of the others aggressively kept to themselves, which was infuriating. If everyone just talked, we could figure this out... Then again, she didn't even know if that was true. Keleran talked a lot. He seemed okay. Saffron and Phil too. But... what if they weren't? What could she do against such a convincing army? Die. Without another thought, she started back towards the others.
  5. …But now I don’t know how I feel about Wit feeling the need to post a sign-off with no prior content >> I gueeeeeess I’d lean village on that?
  6. Yeah, I pointed that out yesterday iirc. Was my main reason for v reading Wit.
  7. So before summarizing a book you should read it backwards?
  8. Raven putting the lead train and their countertrain as mild elim off of solely the first page of cycle one because of a lack of content is… objectively a bad look.
  9. Can’t decide if a dead thread means we’re doing something wrong or if it just hasn’t picked up yet. You’re pinging me because you want an explanation for my vote, I guess? Kas’ megapost proves how your slot is kinda connected to everything, and reading back your answers from yesterday I’m not as content with them as I was. I also don’t like how you popped in to comment on the anon messages— it shows you’re following the thread close enough to see the comment, but neglecting to post about anything actually relevant. Plus the Devo train was feeling kind of stale and I wanted to spice things up a bit
  10. This [the bold] is simply false but okay :P. * * * Shay walked. She wasn't sure where. She had time to kill, due to the ongoing crisis shutting down her normal Radiant duties. And she was tired of the bickering. So little of yesterday made sense. As horrible as waking up to Aradon's corpse was, Gen-ku's appearance and sudden... disappearance had been more shocking. A week ago, Shay would have denied the possibility of Radiants showing such bloodthirst. Yesterday, she wasn't so sure. Today she did all she could to remain in ignorance. It was hard, because every time she tried to focus on something else she remembered her own part in the chaos of the night before. So she walked, away from the group, across the hardened stone. It felt nice on her feet, which she'd left bare. She'd heard of a place in the far west where the group was soft, malleable, where anyone could move it as if they were a sworn Stoneward. it was a place she sincerely hoped to never visit. The ground beneath her reminded Shay of a simpler time, a sturdier time, and it was comforting. A time where it didn't feel like you were sinking where you stood. That time was so storming recent. What had happened?
  11. I don’t think e!me kills Araris after how badly I misread and misexed him last game, but idk. Hard to judge.
  12. This is where I would say "I told you so" but I completely forgot about it as well so if I say that I have to say it to myself as well xD Mmm I forgot about that. I can almost understand that, because for me being read village as a villager is of near-equal importance (if not entirely equal) to being read village as an elim. I'm not sure if Wit would have that deep of an understanding of the game yet, though. With Archer, I don't think he'd fall to three-hour-early elim hypersensitivity. He's too headstrong for that. e!Archer claiming here would have to be a piece of some other plan (like the bulldozing you mentioned) but I don't remember if the chronology works in favor of him thinking that far in advance. With my light v!read of him, though, it's not something I'm considering right now. Bro half the time I forget what game we're currently playing, there isn't a chance in the world I pull that out of a hat :|. I can look later if you really want but the situation basically was as I described; xino was suspicious so I voted him, suddenly everyone and their dog voted him, I panicked and pulled off, he flipped elim :P. Quoting this because I think it illustrates a point-- no one had any real idea of what the VC was at any point during the last half hour or so. Sure, people were posting them, but they were either straight-up wrong or rendered out of date within seconds. So I sort of question the value of EoD VC analysis. At least, the analysis that gets in the details. Broad stroke analysis obviously shouldn't be ignored, but I don't think you can rely on assuming that little shifting moves were strategically intentional. I'll help JNV I mean, sure, but any team with both of them on it I think the third elim decides the kill every time. At least on C1 for sure. This would not surprise me fwiw Fair It was the kind of investment where I didn't know which way I was invested. Forgot to mention this, I did notice it, yeah. There are two more posts to reveal but I'm posting now as this is already probably terrible on the eyes Edit: @Aeoryi no need to ask questions to stoke discussion if discussion is happening
  13. Okay that’s fair. For all my comments about the chaos of EoD and how my own brain short circuited I forgot that it was chaotic and made it hard to think :P. (And thanks for explaining the Wit thing. Languages are cool.) Relevant in a general sense more than anything else. I think that claiming a decently powerful role (as a Skybreaker is) at EoD is usually a good idea, as it causes players to think about what they’re doing a bit more. It’s one thing to kill PHer Aman, and another to kill Skybreaker Aman. At least to me. I’m pretty sure if he had claimed that I would have believed him, as it’s a believable claim, so the paranoiding wouldn’t be an issue there. A Skybreaker is worth a lot and an e!Skybreaker that’s outed isn’t terrible as accountability becomes an issue for the elims. I dunno what I would have done with the information but EoD me would have liked it. But that’s just my opinion.
  14. I don’t actually mind Wit getting the ideal. But I do want to know why he’s listed the way he is :P. In retrospect v!Aman should have been more obvious due to the lack of self pres and the thread-wide consensus regarding his slot but panic does wild things. Probably most looking sideways at Kas, interestingly, as it sounds like you knew he was a Skybreaker and didn’t say anything? I get distroguessing = bad but if you knew his role and what he planned to do with it that seems like… relevant information. I missed that Raven voted Aman. That’s… weird.
  15. Stahhhp ;-; This nearly makes me want to vote Wit lol
  16. Wait are we giving Aman the ideal right now I’m not comfy with that
  17. Chill factor isn’t the issue, my read is the issue But I do read Wit more village than you and I don’t want to die so —That was where I was going to vote you but now I don’t know what is happening Uh I want the vote bonus JNV as a placeholder cause idek lol
  18. I wouldn’t mind it I suppose. I’d prefer getting Archer up (or me :P) but amidst all this EoD madness I’m starting to understand why people weren’t too keen on the idea of planning for this >>
  19. I mean, I would consider a multi-pointed Archer case with a redundant second vote and extra colored orange text "coming in hot" Though your later points about your hedgy statements are fair contradictions of this. No Disagree This is where I get in the state I was last game where I feel like you have to be village for engagement reasons but also you keep doing things I do not understand :|. This is objectively true. But he was so pure early on I'm hesitant. Your train feels wrong though, it picked up too fast. But every time I think that I remember the time I panic-unvoted e!xino for the same reason. Circles within circles. Kas, some day you will remember that no one wants to do this :P. We'll vote you if we think you're evil and not a second before. I want a VC before unvoting Aman lol
  20. Kinda sorta. For me that first point is more the opposite, but it still works. I do think Aman’s votes have been weird but doesn’t he always switch all over the place? I guess it’s less about the votes and more the magnitude of his you case and the lack of push that was actually behind it. Ah what the heck. I don’t even remember who I’m currently voting which is probably a bad sign xD Aman
  21. Case That implies something other than gut :P. Edit: Araris’ vote is the only one I like actually lol
