  1. I guess that makes sense? I'm hesitant to consider it because of players like you, Archer, etc who I think are village but are still RPing. You'd RP anyway but Archer is clearly doing it for the ideals and I don't suspect him for that. I think there are players who will just not RP regardless of anything else, and I think those that will RP will do it in either alignment. Our difference here is that you think being elim gives more of an incentive to RP than I do.
  2. The confidence in this post is off-putting to me. Like, you obviously didn't red check me :P. Sorry for noting a behavioral change, I guess? xD Didn't JNV post an all-RP post at EoD yesterday :P. Looks like ideal gunning to me. I find it hard to believe e!Stink or e!Wit RPs 600 words a cycle, as I think not RPing is an NAI thing for them, and you know as well as I do that's not really TJ's thing either, plus he's been afk You can v read them for other reasons of course but this is your friendly reminder not to let your bro read conflate something that isn't really true. If the game were as easy as kill the RPers, we wouldn't be worried about anything.
  3. I mean, I don’t know what else it would be. I’d definitely relook Archer at that point but I certainly don’t go after you or Aeoryi. Everyone else qualifies as low activity / volume. Could at least explain the lack of kill, in the case of no RB/protect. Yes, like two and a half hours late, quoting someone who also was late
  4. Friendly reminder that you can’t post after the GM closes the cycle lol Devo
  5. Reduced to ashes as in, Dustbringer kill and not elim kill? Interesting.
  6. See here You or Aeoryi are good alternatives With you being the obvious choice as you have votes. No idea where the VC is though.
  7. Not to mess with this nice silence we got going on but this is eerily different from last turn, is that just me? Like it's lowkey making me want to vote Wit because that's the easiest explanation for the difference between the two turns. Or vote JNV for only RPing :P.
  8. Ah okay welcome back Think I ninja edited you We do have two hours still, so consolidating isn't of the greatest concern, but sure I guess?
  9. As Shay drew closer to her fellow Radiants, a memory rose unbidden to the surface of her mind. Shay is eight, maybe nine years old. Childhood has since blurred together, the breaks defined by key moments rather than arbitrary numbers relating to Roshar's position around the sun. She is at home, back when she had such a thing. Her mother is away, working. Her father... is away. She has no siblings, so her days are monotonous, full of housework and staring at the wall. The latter activity is what currently occupies her time; the kitchen is tidied and the floor swept. Shay wishes for a toy. Or a friend. A knock sounds on the door. Shay perks up. Have the Heralds sent an answer to her half-prayer? She scrambles to the door, sending a chair askew on the way. She pauses to put it back in its place. Waiting for her on the other side of the door is a boy Shay recognizes to be a year or two older than herself. Aston, she thinks. "Hi," Aston says. "We saw you through the window, just sitting there. Want to come play?" Shay blinks. Maybe the Heralds did hear her. Even when she wasn't talking to them. "Sure." Edit: @Aeoryi you've been quiet for awhile, how do you feel about the current trains?
  10. Not knowing what elim means feels a little bit like exaggerating new playerness tbh That was me asking TJ, there’s no reason you would be able to answer that …….slip???
  11. I think this is accurate-- Devo (1): Kas Raven (1): Mat Wit (1): Aeoryi Ash (2): Stink, Archer Archer (2): TJ, JNV Which is kind of eye opening because I thought Devo was still in the lead :p. I should be paying better attention. Ash
  12. You weren’t inactive, but you also didn’t post anything game related the vast majority of the time. That’s a notable difference to this game so far. Like I said, it’s not a read I’m happy with, but it’s there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  13. I'd cut out Wit. I kind of read Stink as evil for engaging with the game, which feelsbad, but after the LG I feel like that's mildly justified :P. But I also support the Ash pressuring as so far the applied pressure on Devo, Raven, etc hasn't done much.
  14. When Shay was far enough from the camp for her fellow Radiants to appear to be the size of cremlings, she stopped. Surely that was far enough for her thoughts to settle. On instinct she reached for a practice sword, but of course none were there. She slipped into a kata anyway, hands held out in front of her, clutching the empty space as she moved. The lack of weapon made it feel even more like a dance than usual. Shay soon slowed, already feeling a greater sense of calm. Out here, in the open landscape, the Horneater Peaks rising in the east, she could almost forget the crisis unfolding behind her. Almost. She had bonded her spren to help people. But this wasn't what she'd had in mind. She shouldn't have to clean this mess up. And yet. Despite her feelings, Shay was among the most vocal of the Radiants regarding the invasion. Most of the others aggressively kept to themselves, which was infuriating. If everyone just talked, we could figure this out... Then again, she didn't even know if that was true. Keleran talked a lot. He seemed okay. Saffron and Phil too. But... what if they weren't? What could she do against such a convincing army? Die. Without another thought, she started back towards the others.
  15. …But now I don’t know how I feel about Wit feeling the need to post a sign-off with no prior content >> I gueeeeeess I’d lean village on that?
  16. Yeah, I pointed that out yesterday iirc. Was my main reason for v reading Wit.
  17. Raven putting the lead train and their countertrain as mild elim off of solely the first page of cycle one because of a lack of content is… objectively a bad look.
  18. Can’t decide if a dead thread means we’re doing something wrong or if it just hasn’t picked up yet. You’re pinging me because you want an explanation for my vote, I guess? Kas’ megapost proves how your slot is kinda connected to everything, and reading back your answers from yesterday I’m not as content with them as I was. I also don’t like how you popped in to comment on the anon messages— it shows you’re following the thread close enough to see the comment, but neglecting to post about anything actually relevant. Plus the Devo train was feeling kind of stale and I wanted to spice things up a bit
  19. This [the bold] is simply false but okay :P. * * * Shay walked. She wasn't sure where. She had time to kill, due to the ongoing crisis shutting down her normal Radiant duties. And she was tired of the bickering. So little of yesterday made sense. As horrible as waking up to Aradon's corpse was, Gen-ku's appearance and sudden... disappearance had been more shocking. A week ago, Shay would have denied the possibility of Radiants showing such bloodthirst. Yesterday, she wasn't so sure. Today she did all she could to remain in ignorance. It was hard, because every time she tried to focus on something else she remembered her own part in the chaos of the night before. So she walked, away from the group, across the hardened stone. It felt nice on her feet, which she'd left bare. She'd heard of a place in the far west where the group was soft, malleable, where anyone could move it as if they were a sworn Stoneward. it was a place she sincerely hoped to never visit. The ground beneath her reminded Shay of a simpler time, a sturdier time, and it was comforting. A time where it didn't feel like you were sinking where you stood. That time was so storming recent. What had happened?
  20. I don’t think e!me kills Araris after how badly I misread and misexed him last game, but idk. Hard to judge.
