  1. I don't think that's a stupid question tbh Mayoring I think comes with an air of arrogance / do what I say or you're evil which I definitely do not mean to imply, sorry if I did :P. I think that we should get through with this Dragon testing ASAP though, so we have more time for other things, and I'm gonna push for the most streamlined way to do that. Obviously people can ignore me if they want, there are zero consequences for that Mayoring also by definition would require me to be confirmed v which is not currently the case
  2. I could not have explained that any clearer than I did .-. Hi I'm not the Dragon You're clearly not either Next! Ravens Haelbarde
  3. No no no if we're doing the Dragon one vote on each person thing we have to do it in an orderly fashion Vote on the person directly under you Ookla of Ravens / TheRavenHasLanded I know they claimed vet but I'm following our own rules :P. If/when someone doesn't show up to vote someone I'll fill in.
  4. Plus even if they did have a kill it would be stupid of them to use it lol
  5. @Kasimir how does being drunk affect info roles that gather multiple pieces of information? (eg Gossip, Innkeeper). Are both info pieces wrong/right, or both come back as v/e, etc?
  6. You guys smh It's right there ;-; Edit: The fact that this happened three times I don't even-- I just want to merge one time ;-;
  7. Not today. Whether D1 or D2 is up for debate. Edit: RIP me trying to merge posts
  8. Better idea^ Fool, claim tomorrow if you exist and we can put you as No. 2 exe. Oh, yeah, I'm not advocating for a lack of pressure tomorrow, especially after a turn of info gathering. I only care about the end result there. I guess when I quoted Wiz I did so under the impression they were pro-D1 exe, which may have been true. I think that's a bad assumption, but you do you :P. I kinda think we can clear Ravens right now, they're not the Forsaken as Devo pointed out and an e!Veteran is worse than a vanilla elim for the elims so I really doubt Drake/Kas gave them one xD That being said though if there's any GM pairing that would create the most trolly distro ever it's Drake/Kas so I don't want to role clear as a general rule, ever :P. Especially since the Forsaken potentially can claim a village sided role. The only reads I'm getting are v!Archer off of mindmelding stuff and e!Wiz, but I don't trust that last one because I read Wiz evil in the game I'm GMing and he was definitely not evil :P. It doesn't matter, it just won't count.
  9. Oh duh. I'd say this is less likely than a village Dragon but it is possible I guess. See but this is also true in like every onsite game you play too isn't it Eeeeeyeah not a fan of GM intervention in general I think. Though it would be different to know beforehand. K that's all from me for the night, I'll be back an hour before rollover :P.
  10. Or Hael could just claim now But in all seriousness, yeah, I don't see why that's a bad idea. I feel like nothing will happen because this can't possibly be that easy but it's worth a try.
  11. I get the feeling voting Kas D3 is not the path to success
  12. It ends in two days but the game ends in three, so /shrug Edit: The ninjas are crazy xD Kas lock v as well tbh
  13. This Also this Answers come to those who read Basically, we lose if we exe two villagers, so we should only use two exes. Not using one C1 makes the most sense from an info-gathering standpoint.
  14. Cool, so if there's a Fool they can claim D2 and we can exe them get two flips for the price of one? Unless I'm reading that wrong? Realistically the Fool is village but knowing two villagers going into D3 may be huge depending on other factors. This game feels very play-by-ear. Fool, if you exist, definitely don't claim now. Idk if being drunk/poisoned messes with your abilities but I don't want to find out. And huh that is not the answer I was expecting, the Madman really is just screwed huh :P. Kinda doubt they exist in a game of this size but honestly who knows Also I won't really be around during the night turns which I guess is the better turn to not really be around for. Timezones, amiright :P.
  15. ...I can post, right? I think I can post. Wiz did, so anyway Some questions: (Edit: @Kasimir) Does the list the Darkfriends receive of their teammates include the Madman? Does the death caused by the Fool count towards the village death limit? It's N0, so no voting yet But I think no exe D1 is the best strategy-- we have two cycles of infogathering before we need to exe the Forsaken D3, so we should exe someone D2 but not D1 unless we have some really spicy info somehow. There are more nuances than that but I think that's the basic best plan. Gather info C1-2, put all the marbles in D3. I think mass claiming is a thing that should happen eventually but not right now as there's ample potential for Darkfriends to have roles that screw with results and stuff like that. Ninjad by Archer, I see we have many of the same ideas lock village tbh
  16. MR67: Cycle Four: Knife-Wielding Quokka There was something off about that laptop cover. It had started out as cute as a quokka could be, but Mat swore that it had morphed over the course of the convention. Its beady eyes became more sinister, its chubby smile slinking upward in a sinister grin. It was probably just his imagination, but it put Mat at unease all the same. And he wasn't the only one. "We should just look inside," Araris said, gesturing to the case in question, left alone while its owner used the restroom. "How do we even know there's a laptop in there? They've never pulled it out. Why bring a laptop to a convention if you don't ever use it?" The statement received a few slow nods, and Mat guiltily shouldered his own backpack, which held a laptop he'd brought "just in case" and had never used. In the end, it was Kasim who made the final decision, marching over to the cover and unzipping it. Mat was glad for the decision. He wasn't sure about accusing someone else, but seeing Kasim finally decide his stance on this particular issue after flip-flopping so many times was nice. Kasim pulled out a knife from within the cover. Then another knife. Followed by yet another knife. "Uh..." he said, glancing towards the restroom door, which JNV emerged from at that exact moment. Their eyes went wide. "Don't touch--" Kasim lunged at them, seemingly unaware he still clutched JNV's knives. JNV ran, leaving the evidence behind. And they never came back. The SErs found the bodies later that day. Aman, near the exit to the Salt Palace, but also Ash's alongside a note outing them as JNV's conspirator. Aman's death was tragic, but they were going to take it, because that was as good of a trade as they were going to get. * * * JNV was removed from the convention! They were a Crazed SEr! Ashbringer was killed! He was a Crazed SEr! Amanuensis was killed! He was a Reasonable SEr! Vote Count: JNV (4): Araris Valerian/Pookla, Aeoryi/Resolute, The Known Novel/Bald, Kasimir Ashbringer (2): Amanuensis, JNV Cycle Four has begun! It will end in just under 48 hours, on Tuesday, December 19th, at 3pm PST. There will be an execution today, with no vote minimum and RNGd ties. When voting, please also vote using a non-Ookla name if possible. If you think you've completed your convention game task and haven't heard from me, please let me know. I'm not taking the time to check on everyone's progress, if you want the point, say it! Remember to submit any actions you may have. PMs are closed. Player List:
  17. Yes, all deaths occur simultaneously. Same goes for exeing the elim submitting the kill. VC: JNV (4): Araris Valerian/Pookla, Aeoryi/Resolute, The Known Novel/Bald, Kasimir Ashbringer (2): Amanuensis, JNV Just under three hours remaining! I likely will not be around to officially close the cycle, but at 3pm PST please stop posting/submitting actions, and I'll get up the next turn as soon as I can. It likely won't be too long.

  20. Alpha posted here, and while it isn't really game related in the past my GMing philosophy is that any post is sufficient to avoid the filter, however easy to miss that it is
  21. MR67: Cycle Three: kahoot.it Mat went to Cosmere Trivia. Why did they still have Cosmere Trivia? He supposed that after a day of solemn and ominous stillness people wanted to return to some semblance of what this convention was supposed to be. And they turned out to be right. Mat was glad to have the distraction, even if he wasn't winning. Suddenly, the kahoot screen froze. The happy music stopped. The projectors fizzed, and began displaying another kahoot game, with a new code. Behind them, the doors to the hall were slammed shut. How do they even have enough people to do this? The reasonable folk were surely still the majority, because they were alive. Though it didn't take that many people to close a set of doors and run a projector. Those kinds of things could be automated, and in fact probably were. Just because things were happening outside didn't mean that everyone inside was innocent. Either way, the slamming doors sent a message. Mat typed in the code. It was weapon trivia. He almost laughed. But that would not have been wise. As they played through the game, two frontrunners emerged, both of them SErs. Araris and Cash. Araris was to be expected, but Mat didn't recall Cash ever having the sort of reputation for this to make sense. Mat himself was a prominent SEr, and was absolutely failing at the questions. Was the simple explanation the right one? There was only one way to find out. Meanwhile, across the hall, while the majority of the SErs were distracted at the trivia, the final raven was silenced alongside Lena. * * * Cash67 / Ookla the Rich was kicked out of the convention! He was a Reasonable SEr! The Wandering Wizard / Ookla the Raveness was killed! He was a Reasonable SEr! Devotary of Spontaneity was killed! She was a Reasonable SEr! Vote Count: Araris Valerian/Pookla (4): neil the beguiled, Coffeecat, Aeoryi/Resolute, Kasimir Cash67/Rich (4): Devotary of Spontaneity, Araris Valerian/Pookla, The Wandering Wizard/Raveness, Amanuensis The Wandering Wizard/Raveness (1): Cash67/Rich Cycle Three has begun!
