more savantism! -
and to go along with it, does anyone know of terris (or others on Scadrial) aversion to stone?

nope. Hoid might do that internally, but externally, he will be perfectly Wit. Because he can't be not him

So, just a thought, but: Shin-tuition: the innate knowledge of how to use the Honorblades after touching them. so either comment on that or come up with your own phrases!

AHHHHH! I forgot that that works! Umm, so like electricity, I think that the aluminum is just an insulator and in the (at least partial) presence of NB, the aluminum's insulation properties are overwhelmed and it conducts it. There is a possibility that the outside of the sheath is more Investiture-conductive than the inside, and was designed for the purpose of using NB without it/ him eating your soul. how are you supposed to use it then?

that is what I hope for his sanity.

I have had this theory for a while now, and I am kind of hoping that someone will disprove it for me. Brandon has said that we have not seen all of the Shards and the same for the planets that were affected by Shards. So is it possible that there will be more books that cover those worlds that we do not know about, or just later in the series, will we come upon references to them? Pls vote and Shard share any insight!

I think that the King's Wit was added for comedic effect. Remember, he wasn't the Kings Wit long enough ago to be seen in popular literature as a type of character

Here is a thread that is just going to be people posting acronyms and what they mean for the people who are clueless Have fun!

Well, I don't think that a perfect aluminum room has been constructed, so of course not. Spren communication (to and from) should be blocked unless the spren got in somehow ("Come on, who just lets spren roam their aluminum lined room?") Good luck getting a aluminum cube to stop the bondsmiths!

Very Unstable Magic Source. Help Needed.
GoWibble replied to TheCrazyKolas's topic in Creator's Corner
Ok, even with an unstable magic source, the world can survive. The main problem is in how people adapt to the magic source, right? A few questions: Are everyone magic users? Is it asking too much to see what the initiation for the magic is? (from birth or from something that they do) Are the Guardians Politicians? (their role in society) Do the Phlebotomists bleed more heavily, or just or bleed while they are "charging"? -

Shallan and Spensa (Skyward and Starsight SPOILERS)
GoWibble replied to Pathfinder's topic in Stormlight Archive
Well, outside of the cosmere, characters don't need to be "broken" to get powers. Shallan is very broken at the start of OB and I feel like that is the main difference between Shallan and Spensa. The thing is that Shallan is Shallan because of the struggles that she went through. Spensa is growing up on a planet that is broken, but her life is much more solid than Shallan's . I really didn't see many similarities between them when I was reading Starsight, but I try and keep cosmere and non-cosmere separate from each other in my mind. Spensa is Spensa/ Spin/ owner (?) of m-bot while Shallan/ Veil/ Radiant..../ bonded to Pattern is very different -
just a sneak peak, what is the genre?

Preliminary Attempt at an Elemental System
GoWibble replied to Halyo_Alex's topic in Creator's Corner
why is water, chaos, demon, and ice = death? -
The awakening seems to draw color (no u ) from organic but dead things. I'm not sure how eye color changes if at all (before they decompose) after the person dies. I do not think that you can make someone a lighteyes simply by bleeding color from their Ash's storming eyes
