But now it's the only series on this list that I wouldn't reread (still like the art though) Philip Reeve: Predator Cities and Here Lies Arthur still make me nostalgic I remember Pat Walsh too Darren Shan: Cirque du freak, demons, vampires, vampaneze, werewolves, magicians, mages, Windows, spiders, pickles, lakes, Desmond Tiny, Kah-Gash... I loved this. Artemis Fowl, Skulduggery Pleasant, Dresden Files and Alex Verus I used to read some manga back then too: the big shōnen ones mostly but also stuff like Tegami Bachi, Nodame Cantabile, etc

Your thoughts on Ruin are very interesting! Regarding Devotion, I think, much like Honor, she wouldn't have had much skill with futuresight. She's about being devoted, like Honor's about keeping oaths, regardless of what may come

Like I said, it's in my opinion, I see Cultivation as very long-term survival-of-the-fittest, whether as natural selection or artificial pruning. As for Preservation, it's because he's also stasis, things staying the same. I think of forces of change as better at foresight.

Because of how I view their Intents, Ambition just sounds like she should have been one of the best at futuresight. She probably was given that she was at the top of Odium's hitlist, remained hidden from from him till Devotion and Dominion died and then managed to battle Odium directly alone. As for Odium, never underestimate the power of hatred and grudges.

His futuresight shouldn't be any worse than Preservation's, I don't think. Currently, I think of Shardic futuresight rankings like this: Cultivation > Ambition > Odium > Preservation > Ruin > Dominion / Autonomy > Endowment > Honor / Devotion

*Kelsier We don't know enough about how the Nahel Bond works. There are other bonds in the Cosmere that do not seem to require oaths, like Seons or the Aviar.
