  1. If you haven't figured it out yet, I love it when numbers do this:

    (it's so satisfying)

Damn I can't believe I'm only seeing this now lol.

Bruh, too many status updates on my profile, we'll never find what we're searching for, lol

    3. Friendshipspren
  3. This was our last semester. Everything's cancelled and we'll finish our courses, assignments online. This sucks.
  4. That's horrible. I don't think the Heralds need to redeem themselves, not even Nalan or Ishar. They've given enough: they've been tortured for generations and then fought wars as reprieve in a seemingly eternal loop.
  5. Probably similar to how on other forums there are infractions that incur limited bans
  6. Kaladin's arc is more than just everybody around him dying.
  7. Welcome to the Shard, @Feruchemal Panda! @The Hero of Masks, is this the friend?
  8. Welcome to the Shard!
  9. All the Odium derived magic seem to take something from the wielder ("give me your pain"). I don't think Hoid would want something that is detrimental to himself. He forwent Ruin's magic due to the damaged Spiritweb as a backdoor into the mind thing that was built into Hemalurgy.
  10. Now to go back onto the topic, is there any significance to the two Interlude chapter headers? Why did some chapters have one or the other? Or did we switch from one to the other at some point? Was it just a stylistic choice? @Nit, you misspelled Stormlight on the tags as "Storlight"
  11. @Sliver of Pie, who's your least favourite character?
  12. Kaladin technically already owns the land by the Windrunner River iirc, that's north of the Kholin Princedom and south of Aladar and Roion. Highprince Roion was killed in the Battle of Narak. If Kaladin were to become a Highprince, he could also succeed Roion. Though admittedly Sadeas is more likely thematically. There's also the fact that Kaladin was from that region and served under their military.
  13. Similar, but not the same: the lines behind Hoid all radiate upwards diagonally whereas Jezrien's seem to be radiating out from a circle, or at least the top two are diagonal and the bottom two lie flat
  14. We look forward to it too! Welcome to the Shard!
  15. Makes sense, they are called Honorblades
  16. I like it. What would the covenant entail? So the Honorblades don't have anything of Cultivation?
  17. So it is easier to make Investiture follow pre-made paths, I was just wondering that in another thread I believe something similar about Cultivation's magic, though the word I use for it is Metamagic And you take care too
  18. Welcome to the Shard!
  19. Kaladin was the hook for me
  20. I don't think growing bones would help. It's not just Physical laws that applies here, the bones are probably relevant Spiritually
  21. @18th Shard, if you don't mind, could you copy paste your comment here? The OP double-posted I wonder how Duralumin Mistings would interact with Gold unsealed metalminds
  22. Hi! Coronavirus!!! I go by Dreamer here, been on the Shard since late September of last year So, which Sanderson works have you read? Any favourites?
  23. Well then, welcome back and thank you for your work on the Coppermind!
  24. Best intro Welcome to the Shard!
  25. Distance in the Cognitive Realm depends on minds. There's nothing but empty space for light-years in the Physical, but that gets reduced to mere footsteps in the Cognitive. That's how Worldhoppers like Hoid and Khriss travel
