  1. Kill Rock, peck on the cheek for Ym, happily ever after with Saolin Moash, Amaram, Sadeas No kill, kill, kill isn't an option
  2. No, thank you
  3. Zahel is on Roshar because surviving off of Stormlight is less morally questionable than surviving off of Breaths. Judging by the fact that he killed Shashara over it, I doubt he'd be willing to recreate the Nightblood experiment While I do agree that a Shard's Intent has an effect on what is derived from its Investiture, I do not think Nightblood's strange nature is to be directly blamed upon Endowment's Intent, rather than on the vague nature of the Command used to Awaken him. Maybe Endowment's Intent did help make him able to take in other Investiture and that devolved into making him an Investiture black hole. Maybe Honor's Investiture would've been better & put in more checks & balances. But at the end, I think he was simply the failure of the people who created him and that failure could've been avoided with a little more forethought. They tried to recreate something they had seen, which arose naturally from a different magic system, they should've run some more tests (though it's understandable that they didn't given how many Breaths that would've taken)
  4. Does supporting feminism make you a feminist or a woman? (I used that question as an example because asking "does supporting gay people make you gay?" doesn't quite have the same ring to it)
  5. Happy Birthday!

  6. Wyndle can't fly As of now, we know what she asked for¹, but we don't know the exact nature of what she was given 1: ⚠ Rhythm of War spoilers ⚠
  7. Good work! Is the no of PoVs (in the second table) counting every PoV chapter? Because the Final Empire does not have that many PoVs. Could you tag it as such? It looks confusing otherwise. I just did a double-take.
  8. No, that's just a coincidence. I wasn't able to find a WoB though, possibly it hasn't been transcribed yet
  9. Well, a person in the Cosmere exists across three Realms or Planes of Existence: the Physical Realm where their body exists, the Cognitive Realm where their mind exists and the Spiritual Realm where there Spiritweb exists. A spirit is the Cognitive self of a person that appears after a person has died on the Physical Realm. If they were Invested enough, they could become a Cognitive Shadow and linger in the Cognitive Realm rather than going into the Beyond. Hoid likely got hold of "Spanky", he might have given him some Investiture.
  10. He doesn't need a spirit to travel the Cosmere. On Scadrial, the Cognitive Realm is made of liquid Mist, it feels solid to Kelsier, who's from Scadrial and dead but to Hoid who's alive & not from there, he'll sink in if he didn't use a Cognitive Shadow as a makeshift boat to travel
  11. Because otherwise Ruin wouldn't let him create, which is what he wanted to do. He always planned to betray Ruin in the future. What lie did he tell Kelsier?
  12. On Scadrial, I'd choose to be a Nicroburst. If we're talking era 1, then Rioter or Soother, same for the real world.
  13. Yes, you can Hemalurgically spike Elantrians & Forgers, but Selish magics are location locked so you'll also have to spike their Connection to their land Soulstamping someone to give them access to other Invested Art is far more difficult however. Surgebinding needs Nahel Bond with a spren, Allomancy requires a direct Connection to Preservation, a Forger does not have access to that much Investiture, Soulstamping a spren would be fiendishly difficult as they are living Investiture We don't know the precise mechanics of Elantrians & Sandmastery. You'll need connection to Arelon and the Dayside of Taldain respectively, but we don't know precisely how the Shaod operates nor how Sandmasters are Initiated.
  14. Silverlight isn't on a planet, it's a city situated in the Cognitive Realm inhabited by Worldhoppers and descendants of Worldhoppers
  15. I was expecting the envoy to head for Stoneward and/or Dustbringer spren who seem to be the ones most angry about the Recreance, leaning towards the Dustbringer spren as we were supposed to see more if them & they seem to be Bonding recklessly. I honestly thought post-OB the Honorspren would all join in. But perhaps only someone of Taln's caliber could convince the Stoneward spren. I hope the Inkspren & Reachers don't also need persuasion... Gotta love the Truthwatcher spren, Cultivationspren & Cryptics for their foresight and generally less prideful nature!
  16. welcome to the Shard, @Biplet!
  17. Well, I'll back off with the interrogation now! Enjoy The Shard!
  18. @BreezeCauthon how did you discover Sanderson?
  19. Happy Birthday!

  20. @BreezeCauthon, same two questions as before, but this time characters from within the Cosmere
  21. The eye colours change only happens in people who are Darkeyes, Lighteyes stay the same So Kaladin's eyes glow blue, Szeth's glow pale smoky grey & Lift's glow like clear pale glass but Shallan, Dalinar & Jasnah's eye colours will remain the same.
  22. Who are you all's least favourite characters? Would you go to the Nightwatcher/Cultivation seeking a Boon, knowing what you do of the Old Magic?
  23. No problemo, cabrón
  24. Happy Birthday!

    1. Mist

      Mist

Happy birthday! May your birthday be great and your reads be accurate!

      Thanks guys! :)

  25. It is. Healing in the Cosmere works by applying how Spiritual self filtered through the Cognitive, aka how you think you should look like, over your body. Check out all the Arcanum entries regarding healing in the Cosmere.
