You know, that's a really good question. Who was Spanky? Was he even from Scadrial? Was he providing ferrying services or did Hoid just find him & made use of him?

The Classical Scadrial religions were incredibly detailed regarding the parts of the world that they revered/associated with divinity. Sazed probably got the details from Larstaism, which is the most likely religion to have recorded such things: they revered beauty, art & nature, and it was the religion that Mare chose to follow. The Astalsi or Dadradah might also be potential/partial sources of information.

I think a Cognitive Shadow still uses the same Spiritweb. The holes in the Spiritweb should get repaired by the Divine Breath. For comparison, Lifeless could become Returned: Here's a WoB, this is why I made the comparison between Lifeless & Hemalurgic entities: This is similar to what happens with Hemalurgy. You spike someone, tearing a bit of their Spiritweb and then grafting it onto your own.

Yeah, you can use other Investitures to power fabrials. In fact, you can even replace the spren with other Cognitive entities like Seons

Wow, I liked the dark Kaladin chapters in WoK, and the Shallan chapters were like the light in the dark for me. I love the interludes, and it always surprises me when I read that the interludes break someone's immersion. They were interesting bits of worldbuilding I looked forward to, and I needed the breaks. Rysn is a particular favourite, the only interlude character appearing in all 3 (soon 4) books, seeing Shinovar & the Reshi Isles was interesting! Her part in Oathbringer tied up directly with the main plot, and coming up next, she might visit a land of longstanding mystery on Roshar. I have to admit I liked Dalinar's chapters less in WoK, but it had little to do with boredom. Same with WoR Shallan. I have no complaints with OB. So, no one, there aren't any characters whom I found boring.

What color would a Sleepless/Dysian Aimian's blood even be? Wouldn't it depend on what their Hordelings are mimicking at the time? Since Siah Aimians are blue, they might have blue (actually exists in nature) or violet blood

Hmm, I think a Lifeless might but a normal Awakened object would not trigger a Shade under normal circumstances, neither would a robotic device. I think they react to souls, pure movement shouldn't be enough. An Awakened object probably could incite a reaction, as they're basically Investiture crudely mimicking life, and (most) Shades wouldn't be able to distinguish between the two, but it would still need direct effort to intentionally provoke Shades. If the robotic device has an AI, that should count as living enough, and have aspects in all three Realms. Then a Shade might react. A normal robot on the other hand? Nope.
