The argument between Gavilar and Navani was really good It's kinda strange to have multiple versions of Lirin's chapter in my head, but I'm happy that I like the one that's going to be published the most Gavilar is getting Voidlight somehow, there must be a phenomenon on Braize that distributes it, spren seem to need Investiture (OB spren appeared revitalized), plus I'd doubt they went to Odium & asked for some Does Kalak want to flee the Rosharan system?

No, for the most part, metals having magical properties is due to the three Metallic Arts of Allomancy, Feruchemy and Hemalurgy. Rosharan fabrials work on similar Cosmere-wide principles, but they are fuelled by spren & gemstones not metals. Yes, aluminium resists Investiture in general. With enough Investiture you could do almost anything, but some things would still take more power than others. Soulcasting aluminum is difficult. On Sel, aluminium is known as Ralkalest and cannot be forged. Nightblood's sheath is made of aluminum. In Allomancy it purges all available metals and in Hemalurgy it removes all powers.

All of them could be useful, one way or another Transportation, Gravitation & Abrasion for search & rescue Cohesion for temporary shelters, wavebreakers, temporary structural support in case of extensive damage Soulcasting for food & resources; Progression for healing Lightweaving for keeping morale up as well as communication. Tension could also serve as structural support & for traversing potentially unstable areas like the movement based Surges & its fellow Willshaper Surge Adhesion can also similarly help with structural integrity & as the Surge of pressure and vacuum be immensely helpful in case of storms. Spiritual Abrasion could also be helpful for communication.
