Well there's azure's sword in Oathbringer which presumably was made after nightblood. Perhaps the sword Adolin is holding is the same type or even the same one?

In the discussion for chapter 4/5 I made a joke about a potential relationship between Kaladin and Leshwi emerging. While I don't think this is likely, what do we think about a potential relationship emerging between a human and singer? I personally think this is likely at some point in the series, and could be a really interesting way to explore the interaction between the two cultures

Kaladin's potential romantic interests seem to be a much greater focus this time around. Bye bye shallan now we got Lyn? Kara?? and best of all Leshwi???????

I assume she went to Aimia during the events of dawnshard. I guess time will tell

This line was hilarious and reminded me a lot of the secret organisation in Hot Fuzz (the greater good...)

I mean at the very least I think it's 99% likely that he'll swear the 4th ideal at some point in RoW, which presumably is something about choosing who to save and knowing when to let go. I think that'll be a big step in his growth (and maybe get some badass shardblade too who know)

I dont think the situations are at all the same. Kaladin has always been portrayed as having serious depression and problems with guilt, and the various achievements he has accomplished , have never magically cured him of this, even if they were achieved with a resolution of his arc for that book and a swearing of a new oath. I think is something that it is very in character for Kaladin to be morose over.

Well I just didn't want to give such an obvious answer with syl haha. I have done the quiz and got equal 70% willshaper and elsecaller (I prefer willshaper), with 65% windrunner as my third place.

5 points well earned! Hard to go past my girl Syl but if I'm being more broad and talking about my favourite type of spren I love the angerspren imagery of pools of boiling blood emerging from the ground.

I really love the interplay between the 3 scadrian magic systems, but if I had to pick one it's hard to go past allomancy. I think it's really the pinnacle of hard magic systems due to being so simple yet able to be applied in such creative ways.

Hi, I am Michael Layard (otherwise known as Drayal - 5 points to whoever can figure out why) and I have been a Sanderson fan for about 10 years, and have read all of Brandon's cosmere books, with my favourites being the stormlight books. I don't know why it took me so long to get on to this forum as I've been aware of it's existence for years and it took me regularly listening to the shardcast podcast in recent months to make the jump.
