  1. Thread necromancy is against the rules. If you are continuing the conversation that's one thing, but just posting one line thoughts on topics that have been inactive for months is not allowed.
  2. The last post was from January.
  3. *Still green from 2020*
  4. Between Dawnshard, Teft and others yes we have.
  5. We can, he hasn't done anything that we can definatively say that another windrunner couldn't do.
  6. Raise was also vulnerable because he was fighting the shard, though I don't know how much of an effect that had.
  7. You're good, we all do that at one point.
  8. It's been two months since anything has been posted here. You don't need to revive a thread for a joke.
  9. YouTube is just determined to drive everyone from their platform. First it was dozens of ads per video, then the shadowbans and the content suppression, then removing dislikes, and now the CEO is saying that their #1 priority is shorts, and channels aren't being recommended unless they post shorts.

I'm honestly kind of tired of them making the worst possible decisions I just want to watch some videos.

Pretty sure content creators get to control how many ads their videos have.

They can choose whether to have ads or not, not how many there are.

Not saying Youtube is perfect, but they are a company that's trying to make a profit, and they're not making totally irrational decisions

Oh they aren't entirely irrational, but they drive me crazy.

A quick google says it's the other way around. Youtube puts ads on pretty much everything, but the youtuber can choose whether or not to have midrolls and place them wherever.

I have a good adblocker so i get very few ads. it's wonderful. highly recommend.

Removing dislikes still makes me so mad. They blatantly lie about the reasoning too. They claimed it was so "content creators wouldn't get their feelings hurt" but literally the only people who can still see the dislike count IS THE CONTENT CREATOR. They STILL SEE IT. It was entirely to appease brands and advertisers who were getting their videos absolutely dislike-bombed.

  10. Only if you had breath to start with. We aren't sure if you can, there's some debate about it, personally I think you probably could compound breath, but who knows.
  11. You can't compound with that option I'm afraid, it only gives you allomancy. Welcome to the shard.
  12. They're from Elantris, Hrathen uses them to make people look like Shaod Elantrians.
  13. That sounds horrible. All the downsides of being a parent with none of the benefits.
  14. I have no idea. I would say that you probably couldn't use awakened metal for spikes or vice versa, but we have no clue how those two systems would interact.
  15. The points scale with breath count, if I recall correctly its the same number of points per breath no matter what you do, so you're fine. Glad you enjoyed it.
  16. Threnody never classified as a Shardworld. This is part of why I have no fear of AI, this is honestly laughable, six right out of sixteen, multiple repeats, and just horribly inaccurate information
  17. Alright, I guess I could make another one. For this build I just went with the ultimate camping style, my goal is to simply wait everyone else out as best as I can, though I am of course obligated to still have a few offensive options in case things get dicy. My plan of action is to turn my fabrials on to protect myself, constantly fueling them with my own power, and then teleport my midnight creations out into the world to fight on my behalf, while the Larkins drain investiture from anything powerful enough to overcome my suppression.
  18. We already went over this, it's an aluminum alloy, and those are not always resistant. Pure aluminum doesn't make a good aircraft, so that probably isn't a good defense. And Shardplate is incredibly bullet resistant. Even Wax would take multiple rounds to the same section in order to break it, with a reverse lashing shield, shardplate and far better maneuverability the bomber stands no chance. The OP said that we are assuming that the Shin developed WW2 tech.
  19. Bondsmiths are 850, he calculated correctly for a Skybreaker. In order for the Everstorm to be summoend by the Stormforms in WoR Odium had to move it right over top of them in the CR, and even then it probably still needed Odium to do some things behind the scenes. Other than that it's a solid build.
  20. We don't really know that, we know that Vistim's one could detect the shin coming before he saw them, so even portable ones have really impressive range. The doors can be closed, and the Sibling has control of the atmoshpere inside the tower, in it's awakened state I wouldn't be entirrely surprised if it could just stop the blast outright. Considering that the Stormfather is powerful enough to control an entire Huricane, and the Sibling was their equal before Honor died, I say that is exactly what the Sibling is.
  21. Praise the mighty Beaver!
  22. It's slightly taller than the Burj Khaliffa, and much wider
  23. In terms of hitting an individual that's a huge variation, as I was specifically speaking about it against a radiant in the inaccuracy, not urithiru. That you could reliably hit. They do kind of reduce the entire fight to being just about them.
  24. It's certainly still a threat, but air bombing is also horribly inaccurate, getting them close enough to the epicenter is more a matter of luck than skill, which in my mind makes it a realistically survivable threat. Um, you do realize how big urithiru is right? The gem room is below the ground floor, and the building itself is primarily stone. There would need to be a lot of restorative work done, but I don't think the tower is under any serious threat from a nuclear payload that could be made, the thing is an absolute fortress. You might as well try to nuke a mountain.
