Technically neither of those say that Honor was needed, only that he was involved. But even if he was he most likely isn't anymore
-
Maybe? Some Yolish lightweaving thing or something? I honestly have no idea.

They are described as being as long as a man is tall, Rosharans are taller than we are with Kaladin being 7 earth feet tall, So they would be six Rosharan feet, but seven earth feet.

Syl said that the Oathpact was made using Bondsmith powers, she never once mentioned Honor. Persoanlly I'm of the opinion that Honor was only needed in order to give them honorblades. And you can easily make one that isn't tied to the Fused.
-
It might be bigger than a regular sword, but given it's unusual weight, and the fact that it can be drawn from a sheath it can't be anywhere near the seven feet that shardblades are.

A bondsmith doesn't struggle to do 15:1, they can easily do more than that, and if they are bonded to the Stormfather, they can easily flip the role and end up outspeeding the Fullborn.

Bondsmith, no question. I don't care what you give the other side, nothing short of being a bondsmith themselves, or having Nightblood, or a Dawnshard will be even close to enough. Allow me to illustrate how royally dead the Fullborn is. Using their powers a Bondsmith can: Make themselves immortal, both biologically and practically. The Oathpact was made using Bondsmith powers, they can just chose to make themselves a Herald, so even if their enemy gets that 1 in a trillion shot and manages to kill them, they will be back to try again. Slow time, as @therunner pointed out, without much difficulty they can dialate time around them to 1:15, and could probably push that further, and if they are bonded to the stormfather, they can push that even more as the space between has a crazy dialation factor able to have entire conversations in the time between seconds. Remove their enemies Connection to their bodies, effectively instantly killing them. Synergetically manipulate their opponents powers, similar to what Dalinar and Shallan do with the map. If they know what they are doing they can use their opponent's powers for their own advantage. So much more, it's actually insane. Bondsmiths are honestly one of the most broken things I have ever seen in any fiction outside of anime and Comic books. And even there they still stand as noteworthy.

Well no duh Frustration, what tipped you off? No, I'm not just talking about their ability to cut through anything. Nor is this a theory. Someone made giant foam swords to see how good they would be in combat, and they basically trivialized everything their opponent tried to do. https://youtu.be/xg7Edq0LYb8 Watching this video, and seeing just how powerful the reach of the sword is I think someone with a shardblade might be able to win against someone using Nightblood, though their blade will doubtlessly have several large nicks in it.

Fullborn vs. 5th ideal windrunner 2.0
Frustration replied to MangoBoi101's topic in Cosmere Discussion
It's more of stacking multiple abilities that let you do the same thing, not just having more power to apply to the same ability. So no, they wouldn't. That's someone else healing them. -

They'd better. Regrowth ones I could see, they have boosted healing. -

That won't matter if the spine is severed, that instantly severs the entire soul. I don't think we've ever seen them take a spine hit. The closest thing I can think of is when Kaladin was fighting one on the walls of Kholinar, but there I don't think it ever mentions him severing the spine. -
I mean Rosite Aetherbound can make guns, and Zephyr Aetherbound could totally fly.
-
So I was thinking, which aether would be best in combat? And there's no better way to find out then to have them fight to the death. So which Aetherbound or spore eater would win in a fight?

So I got the idea to make this thread after President Nelson made a talk about avoiding contention, and finding ways to disagree without anger. So I decided to make this thread, where either you can bring disagreements, or even state an opinion and ask for the thoughts of people who disagree with you, and you can each explain your thoughts and then find some way that you agree. Ultimately my goal with this is to find some common ground between us, in this polarized world.

What's been your favorite conference talk so far?

Yeah, I really liked what he had to say too. I also like how he said that it was possible to disagree without being angry. I often find that I understand not just myself but the world better when I am in disagreement with someone, but letting anger cloud the conversation not only takes away that understanding it also hurts us. I'm actually thinking about making a "Finding Common Ground" thread where people with disagreements can go to find things they agree on, because of his talk.

Tress of the Emerald Sea Reactions (Cosmere Edition)
Frustration replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Alright, I finally got through Tress. And I have to say it has so far been the most overrated Cosmere book, aside from maybe the Emperor's Soul. Everyone was talking about how it was the greatest Cosmere book so far, and an absolute favorite. Yet as I read it, it was really... mid. I definitely liked it more than RoW or TLM, on pure enjoyment, but it definitely had less of an impact on me than they did, and compared to OB, or WoR it really wasn't that great. Onto my thoughts: Hoid was actually funny for most of this, which is unfortunately noteworthy. After my Cosmere reread last year I was disappointed at how flat the humor was, so this was definitely an improvement, even if some of the humor here fell flat as well. Brandon kept cutting away before explaining the good parts, I remember specifically that he seemed to explain that steel caused spores to grow away from them with a level of reluctance, more like a parent saying "Fine you can have some candy just stop asking" than anything. We don't know anything about the other sprouter tools, or even what all the stores are. I know he said he wants to save them for later, but he could have at least named them, or what all the seas were. Which is especially criminal given that we probably aren't going back to Lumar ever again. All in all I liked the book, but I felt it was different, rather than better when compared to the rest of the Cosmere. -

You're confusing two things. I never suggested lashing a black hole, just throwing the Fullborn into it. -

Not creating a black hole, finding one. Though with infinite Stormlight they could probably do the later anyway. So on crashing a planet into the first one. 1. Find another planet 2. Lash it repeatedly towards the first one 3. Kaboom -

Chemoarish is an unmade. And most of them have Semetic names, so that isn't really unusual. -

Well... Try this 73 page show Or this 13 page one Or this five page one If you can't tell we've been stuck in the never ending cycle of desolations for a long time.
