I'm convinced that quantum physics is actually easy to understand, but they make it sound complicated so that they seem smart.
Me: So what's spin?
Everything I found trying to explain quantum mechanics: spin is a fundamental part of a particle
Me: yeah, but what does it do?
Them: it's like angular momentum
Me: yeah but how does a particle with a spin of 1 behave differently from a particle with a spin of 0 or 1/2?
Them: spin is a fundamental part of a particle.

And then they’ll tell you that it’s not actual spin, which isn’t confusing at all.
And it’s the same deal with “color”

@Ookla the platypus no, I mean I'll get a notification, like the bar at the bottom pops up, and a one appears next to the bell, but when I open up the notification menu there aren't any new ones.

Sometimes it notifies me of the same thing multiple times...could this be it?
Like, today I checked one of Thaidakar's responses to an SU, but even after I checked it I was notified of it as if I hadn't checked it yet.

Sorry about this, I really need to rant, and don't know where to put it.
I really need to get a reddit account. Half of the questions didn't deserve to be asked during a spoiler stream.
"Is stick an avatar of Autonomy?" Come on people! I know it's funny to you but you have dozebs of streams to ask your joke questions, I only get two steams a year to get spoiler questions asked, just let me have this!

It's a comedic prediction about Stones Unhallowed, which was the working tittle for OB at the time.
It's hilarious, and a surprising amount of it is true.

It's weird to think of myself as one of the old guard, I'm so new here and I still see people who have been here long enough to put me to shame.
And yet, they've all gone away, or at least into inactivity. Of the active sharders I'm one of the oldest. It's kinda wild. I have mixed feelings about this.

Writing is giving me a new appretiation for Brandon.
I had to push myself to get 30,15 words today, and that was hard. Also my finger hurts like crap because of it.
Yet Brandon wrote 19,000 words in a day to finish RoW and at one point wrote 29,000 in a day.
Words cannot express how much I respect that man right now.
