  1. Any form of cosmere healing could theoretically change gender. A returned would be the most reliable IMO. This thread has a lot of good discussion on all things queer if you want to check it out.
  2. Just as likely I do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Edit: after a quick coppermind search Tension definitely makes more sense. I can see it working through P, C, or S Connection. That could be it, but I think it has to be a Connection specifically to Dalinar. If she just "heard" everything she'd need access to Fortune to process the information.
  3. In Dalinars midnight essence vision the female shardbearer tells him that if he calls out to her "[she] will hear him." The context definitely sounds like a surge since since she's about to charge into combat. She can be identified as a stoneward by her armor glow and I suspect this is an odd use of Physical Connection through the surge of cohesion. It fits very nicely to their theme of "I will be there when I am needed" to be able to hear cries for help. No grand theory, just some fun dots I connected on a reread.
  4. I'm sure the bomb going off was to send a message. And I very much doubt it killed the faceless one.
  5. The gemhearts of Roshar are not comparable to the gemstones of earth chemically or in how they are formed. The reason it doesn't become infinite money is because you simply can't soulcast gemhearts IIRC.
  6. Always, not at all. This situation is an obvious example. If you want a real world example, you could logically apply that same statement to the U.S. military taking out terrorists. I dont have any problem with that either. Their intent to murder, rape, and rob countless victims if they are not stopped (and without Jasnah they wouldn't have been) does add up to a death sentence. An immediate death sentence, given the circumstance. I just disagree. All of those had a role to play, but as I said earlier she is not one to lie about her motivations. She said the main motivation was to help King T/ deliver justice. I am inclined to believe her.
  7. Well first off I dont think it's at all a stretch to day proto-vornism was founded by Radients it's obvious from the emphasis on 10, the Heralds, and the Almighty/Honor/Tanavast. But why specifically Elsecallers? Because the fundamental tenat of Vorinism is self improvement. This is practically identical to the theme of Elsecaller oaths "I will reach my potential." I find it very ironic that Jasnah rejected Vornism on grounds of Atheism, but when you boil down Vorin ideals and her ideals (as demonstrated by her position in the Elsecallers) they are the same. As a final note I'd like to emphasis that proto-vornism was founded by an Elsecaller. Its obvious its been through drastic changes.
  8. @PiedPeterPiper, um guessing your a Willshaper?
  9. Skybreakers definitely beat dustbringer. I say they also have an advantage against elsecallers. 1v1 combat the elsecaller cant use their ace in the hole because the skybreakers to invested. Against an army I'd reckon Division beats Transformation
  10. Ok first off I clickbaited you, sorry. We will very likely see a 4 surge Radient. This Radient will be none other than Ash the Dustbringer, AKA Shalash herald of the Lightweavers. All she would have to do is regain her honorblade which I think is very likely.
  11. @Pathfinder I agree on every point (and thank you so much for the quotes. Just one thing to add right now, it is undeniable that Jasnah's motivations were pure. Why? Because she said they were as Jasnah is the last person who would lie about that.
  12. I know, I'm an uncultured swine. But if she's not I interested romantically or sexually what is she interested in. Just friendship? Does that mean she doesn't want to be friends with men?
  13. Tarah moved there before book 1. Brandon said it was unpleasant post book 3. This leaves the occupation theory wide open.
  14. Umm, not to burst the theory bubble but isn't more likely that it's just Singer occupied territory.
  15. This is a tricky question. I'm going to argue in favor of Jasnahs decision. They deserved to die and if I came across such a scene and had the means to kill the offenders I would. It was cruel to force Shallan into the situation, but I think that's her only misstep. Even her motivations are mostly pure, she mentions that she felt she had taken advantage of King T's hospitality. I'll even support luring them into the trap because the guard and already refused to apprehend them. Now if she had lured them in without going to the guard first that would of been different, but I have no problem with her decision.
  16. I agree here, there's no solid evidence in any direction. But it is fun think about.
  17. There is a solid following, including myself, for asexual Jasnah.
  18. It is possible but the last time she lost a Radient she went into a 1000ish year coma.
  19. It should be noted that one of the black spheres (to the best of our knowledge) is still in Kohlinar. Szeth hid it there immediately after receiving it.
  20. It's important to keep in mind that the modern skybreakers are pretty messed up. I'd imagine in ancient times there would be a further divide. Some skybreakers are exclusively police, others exclusively judges, and so on.
