Hey friends! Up until this point, I haven't had a single piece of decent art to my name (well, except for those pixel art book-covers and a couple rp drawings, but we don't talk about those). So, I figured it's about time that changed! I've been working on this piece for a while; I realize I'm not a master, but I'm pretty happy with it. My good friends. Let me briefly enlighten you.
The Apollo Pepper is a recent creation. A hybrid between the Carolina Reaper and Pepper X, it is over 2 million units on the Scoville Scale. Currently it is the world’s hottest pepper.
And tonight I ate Apollo Pepper hot sauce.

Only 10 minutes???
I had a pretty spicy pepper once, I don’t know what it was, (someone at lunch literally just asked me if I wanted a really spicy pepper, so naturally, I said yes. Sketchy lunch food is the best lunch food.) it probably wasn’t one of the famously hot ones like the Ghost Pepper or Carolina Reaper or anything, but still very very spicy. My mouth burned for the next 3 hours!

It was roughly 10 or 15 minutes, though I don’t remember how long exactly. And technically I did it for an activity with my church’s youth group. So it was kind of a joint effort. But yes. I did it willingly

Thanksgiving is still an important holiday for some. I realize that lots of people have already started celebrating Christmas, but for the sake of those who prefer to wait, can we please please keep things to a minimum until it’s December?
That way I can actually be a part of it without feeling bad inside. Also, I’d rather not fight over Thanksgiving or Christmas.

*Sigh*. I’m giving in.
I’ve been trying to decide what costume to wear for Halloween all week. I wanted to do something Sanderson themed, but I didn’t want to be a Mistborn because that’s what almost everyone does. And my cousin is also being a Mistborn, so it might be weird if we’re the same thing.
But it’s just so easy, and still cool at the same time! And I can’t think of any other ideas that I really like, so I think I’m doing it. Still on the fence a little, but if I do end up being a Mistborn you’ll just have to deal with it Truthless.

Okay. Story time!
I've always thought it'd be really cool to write a piece of fiction, or (dare I say it) a book. Obviously, I don't have the experience or knowledge for anything too drastic, but there's been this idea floating around in my head for a while. I keep telling myself I don’t need to perfect it, just start writing and let my brain belch out everything that’s going on inside of it. The details can come later. So, when I came across the 50-word Fiction thread, I knew what I had to do. Here’s what I wrote! I know there’s not a whole lot of context, but thoughts? Comments?
SkyThe small boat drifts forward. Ripples flow to either side. Above, the endless sky. And below… the endless sky. A cloud floats downwind, churning on the air’s surface. She watches it, head resting on arms. Her eyes stray from the cloud… down, down, down, to the seething tempest below. Infinity.

If you're on computer, then you can click and hold the title. When you hover the title, it'll be highlighted in a yellowish color. Click and hold, and it'll eventually turn into an editable text box.
