  1. Which means you might even be able to store up enough to do the thing that Elend did with Duralumin allomancy, but on a regular basis as a Twinborn. XD
  2. HAH! Nice...
  3. Topics like this always amuse me because when this DOES get confirmed, we're gonna look back at all of these to see 1. Who called it and 2. Who was absolutely off-the-mark.
  4. I mean, having future sight that screws with Odium is going to be pretty storming important, so I can see why they'd be willing... And if I'm right in that Illumination's void-counterpart is the Void of Prediction, then they'd be the only Radiant spren capable of obtaining it, unless Sja-Anat can transform the other surge, in which case a Cryptic would suffice, but would probably be less willing given the circumstances.
  5. Oh storms, I completely missed that! Wow! Maybe? I still think he's just a corrupted but otherwise normal Truthwatcher Radiant spren. Ok cool, thanks for clarifying.
  6. What? Mistspren are sapient spren like Honorspren and Cultivationspren and Cryptics. Windspren make Windrunner plate. Why would Glys be a Truthwatcher Shardplate spren?
  7. Infinite wakefulness alone would be useful enough IRL that I wouldn't even care if there was no allomancy to pick up with the allomantic bronze sense. I could just stay up all the time constantly feeling "well rested" and being productive with that entire 33.3ish% of my life that I'd normally lose to being asleep.
  8. That's why there's more than one Edgedancer, so that several people can fulfill different niches the Oaths provide. It's kind of like an ecosystem, with different clades specializing for different roles for survival... Except with morals instead of food sources and survival methods.
  9. I mean... I WANT to see it happen. And it doesn't sound impossible, if maybe he has to say the words at Maya's prompting swiftly after the release of BAM.
  10. double-ended spike... Wait, can you use a dagger to steal the charge of a hemalurgic spike and conduct it into a second one, which may also already hold a charge, thus doubling up the effect? Can you make supercharged iron spikes for example??
  11. This Frustrates me deeply. Spren are sentient/sapient, can feel pain (and react the way you'd expect), have empathy. If you're comparing them to an AI I'd love to see what super advanced AGI you're hiding. Anyway rant over I'll stop derailing the topic at hand.
  12. I think we might see this at some point, what with Rlain and all.
  13. well the law of biochromatic parallellism is on your side. things resembling living things are easier to awaken than things that don't resemble living things... and these statues would basically be as perfect as you can get for inorganic matter.
  14. Well I retook the quiz last night and I got a pretty hilarious result. 66% Lightweaver 66% Truthwatcher 64% Willshaper 57% Windrunner My top 4 orders are all less than 10% apart, and the two orders that share Illumination are EXACTLY TIED. ...Well guess I'm changing my profile picture again. Christmas colored combination too!
  15. Vasher does NOT know how to Awaken with Stormlight, unless that changed in RoW and I didn't notice. So Vasher would need loads of regular Breath to awaken the Soulcast radiant statues.
  16. Hmm, now why might that ring a bell on Roshar...
  17. If they were, then they would have annihilated themselves when they were all united as Adonalsium.
  18. For the real world, Pewter compounder, because physical labor is something someone will always pay for, especially someone as superhuman as this. I'd just become a construction worker or something along those lines and outperform any normal employee, at least in terms of endurance and hauling heavy materials around in large batches. Efficiency! On Scadrial I'd probably be a Steel Compounder. I like both powers too much not to.
  19. Because she wasn't bonded to them at the time? I think Maya appears near Adolin because he's bonded to her blade form, right?
  20. So... Rebellionlight? Maybe not exactly. After all, Towerlight isn't named after the dishardic Intent that would produce it. Well, it seems all the other Lights are named after what produces them. Highstorm, the void, life(?), The Tower, War (I mean, the war did cause Warlight to be produced for the first time), so what created the first "Rebellionlight"? I don't think Venli actually made the stuff, since she didn't have any Lifelight with her, so we don't have a true "light source" to name this mixture after just yet... But going with the next best thing, I'll stick with... Freelight, for the time being. Venli's wish for the Listeners to be free, summed up by their rebellion against their masters, to govern themselves, in their own society.
  21. And now I have a perfectly reasonable excuse to never start doing those things to begin with
  22. Skybreaker with a dragon mount in the cognitive realm, anyone?
  23. If my personal hypothesis is correct and one of the Voids of Voidbinding is based on Sja-Anat (or vice versa, perhaps), then an Enlightened Radiant-spren (personally I believe it would be a Cryptic, replacing Transformation) with access to that Void would be able to create enlightened spren if they had voidlight on hand. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
  24. I thought Skybreakers would use Starspren, but after seeing their cognitive forms, I doubt a Starspren would want to be reduced to a piece of metal in the physical realm... Or maybe they would feel honored to be a part of a Radiant's suit of armor? Hmm.
