  1. Ok, here's my personal list of what I think the 10 Platespren varieties are. Windrunners - Windspren Skybreakers - Gravityspren/Gravitationspren/Luckspren/whateverspren it actually is called Dustbringers - Flamespren (they have Ashspren as their main spren, Flames make ash out of plant matter at least...) Edgedancers - Lifespren, since they seem to be the most healing-oriented order. Truthwatchers - Concentrationspren (logicspren has been confirmed for Elsecallers, and this still suits their generally scholarly nature) Lightweavers - Creationspren Elsecallers - Logicspren Willshapers - Joyspren (because what would be more joyful than being free? Also I could see this being thematically appropriate for Venli.) Stonewards - Painspren Bondsmiths - Gloryspren
  2. You should edit your quote; it still has the un-hidden "spoiler" stuff.
  3. "THE COGNITIVE REALM IS ON FIRE!!" Meanwhile Stick is like.. "I told you guys not to become fire"
  4. I suspect you're right; it must behave like an alkali metal to react in such a way as to produce enough energy to mimic allomancy and feruchemy.
  5. It's explosive because each "atom" has both Shards' Intent, and you see how reactive that can be at the end of era 1... The Investiture just wants to repel each other so hard that it explodes in the presence of water, or maybe any polar molecule would work.
  6. I'm pretty sure Vin was a special case in being able to consume the Mists, since doing it enough causes you to Ascend to Preservation (if the Vessel allows it). And I mean, nobody else has ever done it before or since (except MAYBE Wax? Possibly? In small amounts). Yeah. But with the Feruchemical Harmonyspears, you might be able to fill your metalminds super quick if you're in the Mists at the time.
  7. The latter sounds more likely. 8 spears with an alloy balanced towards Lerasium, 8 spears with an alloy balanced towards Atium. I guess getting ahold of the Allomantic and feruchemic spears of the same metals would be kinda like dual-wielding Honorblades that share a surge. But WAY BETTER because you could compound. ...Unless bonding a Harmonyspear just gives you access to the Investiture needed to fuel it, or, maybe Harmony would have to make a Herald that's Connected like that and can consume the Mists themselves.
  8. Pardon me, I meant MIX their own Warlight out of Stormlight and Voidlight they have in gems. Maybe it's because of the nature of a Singer bond with a Spren in the first place.
  9. Honestly I should just accept that people are gonna do it and stop complaining. I believe Brandon has said that the surgepairs as we see them are "natural" pairs, that Adhesion and Gravitation (for example) are already paired up in the framework of Roshar's system, the attributes that lead to an Invested Art in the first place when a Shard settles in and Invests the planet. So Honor just cut along the lines that were laid out for him, and went with that for the Honorblades. So I think each Harmonyblade/spear would give a person a metal and its alloy as powers.
  10. Plus it makes the obligatory pun of, "Vindrunner"
  11. She does literally swear the Second Ideal of the Windrunners, protecting those who cannot protect themselves, in her head at some point. "she could fight, could kill, if it meant protecting those who could not protect themselves"
  12. Wait, where did it go? I just checked and I can't find it where I thought it was... Sorry, guess I was wrong...
  13. In alphabetical order for bonus points... Apathy: "Why should I do any work if it's just meaningless in the end, the universe will run out of energy and we'll all be dead." Betrayal: "You can't trust anyone in the world. Sooner or later, someone will stab you in the back and take what they want from what's left of you." Cowardice: "If I mess up... Everyone is going to laugh at me. I shouldn't try anything new, since I'll have no idea what I'm doing." Destruction: "Everything comes to an end someday. Why not make that day today?" Empathy: "I find purpose in helping others find happiness. I have to help my friends..." Frustration: "This stupid world is so unfair and broken. I wish I could just rewrite it myself." Generosity: "Here, you take it. I don't need this. You'd get more use out of it than me." Hope: "Someday, somehow, things will turn out okay. I know it will. I'll MAKE it turn out okay if I must." Idealism: "If we work together, we can make the world better, one step at a time." Justification: "I'll do it for the greater good. Even if they don't like it, it's for the greater good. They'll thank me one day." Knowledge: "This is how these things work. Always. It's just the laws of the Cosmere." Leadership: "If you guys work with me, I know how we can get this stuff done. Will you trust me?" Malignancy: "I'll kill you in the most entertaining way possible. And I'll love every soul I extinguish. Die for my amusement." Novelty: "I want to see something new, even if I have to come up with it myself." Obedience: "I'll do as I'm told. Otherwise someone will hurt me." Precision: "Do it and do it perfectly, or else you're not good enough for the world."
  14. You guys can go to your profile settings and change it back to any lower rep title you've had already afaik.
  15. I kinda wanna say Amethyst if only because it's used for the essence of metal
  16. Sigh.... Why does EVERYBODY misspell that. I mean, the Honorblades can be summoned and dismissed even though they're basically pure Tanavastium. I wonder if Honor had to do something specific to them? Although, yeah, he must have; they all grant different Surge-pairs. So they're not just raw/shaped Tanavastium, they have something extra that Connects them to the Surges that can then be exploited by whoever's bonded to the Blade to then Surgebind.
  17. Not to mention that a properly knowledgeable Regal Radiant would likely be capable of producing Warlight on their own, which may be advantageous as an Investiture supply for their Surges. Also, do Forms of Power need to inhale Voidlight to use their abilities? Or can Stormform Regals, for example, just shoot lightning at their will? (dew it. )
  18. I'm pretty sure there's a WoB on which one it is, lemme see... I think this is it. (Emphasis added to relevant statements) So if we diagram it as stated, we get: Gold: Internal pulling, your past Electrum: Internal pushing, your future Atium: External pulling, their future Malatium: External pushing, their past And yeah, that doesn't match up. So you're right, yeah.
  19. Honestly it might be a little better, since afaik the Fused just have a deep understanding of one surge, whereas a Regal Radiant (which btw sounds AWESOME) would have TWO surges AND the abilities of their Form of Power.
  20. That IS a good question... I don't know!
  21. The Fused aren't Regals, they innately have 1 Surge (except for Adhesion). But yeah a Skybreaker Stormform could actually be pretty cool, and Envoyform seems like it would pair well with an Edgedancer.
  22. Flamespren—not really sure what form—Dustbringer plate though? I feel like whatever the Truthwatcher platespren is would be Meditationform...
  23. I mean a morale boost effect could be VERY USEFUL for giving Radiants a push to swear new ideals or just to comfort them.
