  1. Well I guess that settles that.
  2. I suppose an alternative would be Survive and something else, but that opens up a whole other can of worms...
  3. Peakspren: "Be more like me"
  4. I've long suspected that Hemalurgy on spren (and spren-like beings) would be easier or just only possible in the CR, since they're... Well for lack of a better phrase "more physical" there, less spirit-like and more people-like. The real question is "does Hemalurgy even work if you and the spike are in the CR?"
  5. ...Okay, you got me there. Buuuut he was also crazy at the time he said that. ...And he didn't remember Change was somewhere on Roshar, anyway.
  6. I dunno if Dalinar really has the Unite Dawnshard. There's definitely too much strangeness going on to just declare that as fact until we get more information. Maybe Honor hid Unite inside one of his own Splinters... Maybe the Stormfather? but in a way that makes it mostly inert.
  7. Unite takes the role of a Connection Dawnshard, IMO.
  8. I both admire and hate the fact that I can totally see this being true... But at the same time, I can't help but wonder if I'm just grasping at straws.
  9. I want Moash to get a redemption arc so that I can watch him suffer the emotional pain of his actions and face the consequences of what he's done. You cannot escape your pain.
  10. Gonna go out on a limb and suggest Cultivationbinding. Or... Warbinding? Blending a surge and it's voidish counterpart (like futuresight and Illumination)? ...Wait, isn't that sort of what Renarin actually has? He makes those little light orbs on the 4th bridge, seems to make an illusion/possible-alternate-self vision of Moash when Kaladin freezes up, and he can make the future sight windows visible to others, like a lightweaving. It certainly doesn't seem like Renarin has the EXACT same power as Moelach, and Voidbinding "usually" originates with the Unmade, but now that we know about Warlight and stuff, what if Glys has something between Illumination and "Prediction"?
  11. That's fair. I guess things like instinctively burning Pewter could be part of the Intent of the Investiture of Preservation, after all, Vin was burning metals at first to, in a sense, Preserve her own existence and survive.
  12. I wonder if the subconscious mind of humans has Intent. Basically can instincts have Intent?
  13. Intent DOES have an influence with Allomancy; sometimes a rather big one. For example, being able to Steelpush on metallic parts that aren't just the center of the object.
  14. This line put a horrible pun in my mind and I must share it with you. "could you say he was... Rlaingry?"
  15. wait, yeah, what if she ate a stormlight-filled gemstone? Would it turn into Lifelight?
  16. I'm just gonna throw in my quartet of Dawnshard commands and discuss them with you guys. - Create - Unite - Change - Destroy Now allow me to explain. First of all, the one that the most people will take objection to; "Destroy". One of the underlying ideas I have with this set of Dawnshards is that it's a cycle, it repeats. What is destroyed is remade with Create. On a larger scale, these Commands would cause the Cosmere to be a cyclic universe, where the end ("destroying" matter by turning it into energy through decay) causes a new big bang or whatever, and thus restarts with "Create" making the new universe. So you iterate through the four Commands across the entire timespan of the Cosmere. You create matter, you Unite matter (make stars and planets and then solar systems and then galaxies and then galactic clusters) and then you change them (some stars become supergiants, planets undergo climate change, and so on) and then you destroy (matter decays over super long timespans until all that's left is radiation) and then you repeat, Creating new matter, Uniting it, Changing it, Destroying it, over and over. Well that sort of ended up explaining all four, not just Destroy... Also, this would do some explaining for why Nightblood is so weird; he's not just an Awakened sword, and not a Dawnshard himself, but the Command of "Destroy Evil" resonated with the primal Command of Destroy, which, theoretically, pulled in some of Ruin's Investiture. Now, why? Well that's due to another part of my theory on the 4 Dawnshard Commands; and that's that each Shard was split from Adonalsium using 2 Dawnshards in combination, one after the other. So, Ruin would have been the shard made by using Destroy twice. Once to split off a quarter of Adonalsium, then again to split a quarter of that quarter into a sixteenth of Ado. So it is strongly connected to the Destroy command of the Dawnshard, and so the Command of "Destroy Evil" is able to pull in Ruin's investiture to Nightblood during his Awakening. It might also help that Nightblood was made of steel, and we know that Ruin is primarily invested in Scadrial, a planet where metal is the key to the investiture. But that's mostly bonus points. So yeah I'm probably way off base here.
  17. Era 2 first, so she can get surprised by him showing up in the unsealed coppermind memory?
  18. It's pretty much exactly what the title suggests; I'm looking for any hints of Hoid having his Cryptic when he shows up in the Wax and Wayne series, which would suggest that he figured out the trick to taking Spren off of Roshar. Any mentions of "strange patterns/markings/symbols" when Hoid is on screen? Or him talking to someone that didn't seem to be there?
  19. Pinging someone just involves typing their username with an "@" in front of it. For example, @BenduLuke would ping you.
  20. You double posted by replying to two separate messages. Instead, just reply to the two messages by multi-quoting or pinging the person you're responding to.
  21. I mean... What's even the primary topic right now? I can't tell exactly what.
  22. *Prepares to offer opinion* *notices the aggressive atmosphere* Mmmmnot right now.
  23. (Hey, that's my WoB! )
  24. This one. I LOVE this one. Maybe that's just because I'm a Lightweaver. Mmmm, lies...
