@Karger If you look on the Coppermind, Obrodai and First of the Sun (where Sixth of the Dusk takes place) are listed separately, leading me to conclude that they are not the same thing. Odium is an English word, stemming from the Latin Odi which means "to hate". But in Oathbringer, he says something else. He seems to be skewing towards being the Shard of Passion. There also happens to be a religion called "The Passions" in Thaylenah.

@Calderis Fixed the stuff on my table. Ire is not an English word, but the coincidence is still there. The word Iree or Irie, pronounced eye-REE is a Jamaican slang term meaning "All good" or "everything will be alright". Not as conducive as a shard name, but okay. It's also possible that the Elantrian pronunciation is different than the English pronunciation, like an accent.

There are several planets in the cosmere. Scadrial- Ruin and Preservation (harmony) Sel - Dominion and Devotion Nalthis - Endowment Roshar - Honor, Odium, and Cultivation Ashyn - Braize Threnody - none, but Ambition was splintered near here. Autonomy - Taldain First of the Sun - Patji is an avatar of Autonomy Yolen - Unknown These eight (ten if you count Ashyn and Braize) make up what most of us know as the Cosmere. But there are two more. Obrodai- A planet mentioned in the Epigraph of Oathbringer chapter 50. Nothing is known about it, other than that there are probably shards there. Or at least some form of investiture Vax - A planet mentioned in Ars Arcanum and Mistborn: Secret History. All that is known is that there is some form of investiture there. My personal theory is that the remaining six shards are on Yolen, Obrodai, Vax, or another unknown planet. Vax would be my first choice because we already have confirmation of investiture there. But wait. There's something suspicious. In Secret History, Kelsier comes across an Elantrian group called the Ire. Interestingly, Ire is an English word meaning anger or malignant intent. Sounds like a shard...

Depending on how fast/slow you're moving in the bubble, it would hurt you pretty bad. The general consensus among medical doctors is that two hours is the cutoff for no permanent damage. After that, six hours is the amount of time before muscles decay completely. Making guesses based on what I remember from the books, a bendalloy bubble could give you about 2 minutes before the distortion becomes perceptible. It seems to be a dilation of about 120. So if you apply the same to cadmium, things get weird. You stick your arm outside the bubble. This assumes the arm does not pop the bubble. One hour is 60 minutes. Six hours is 360 minutes. You spend a few minutes in your bubble with your arm outside and the arm is dead. Probably why Mistings don't do this. But what if you stick your arm outside a Bendalloy bubble? Time is going slower inside than outside. In theory, you could use this to cut someone else's arm off. Bullets don't break the bubble. Why should an arm? They'd age faster inside than outside.

Leona jolted awake, sweat sticking her clothes to her skin. Her bretahing was heavy. What was that? She looked at her watch. 3:30 am. She supposed that sleep would be impossible. Walking downstairs, she heard others crying out. She shuddered, then walked into the kitchen.

Leona looked around and saw her old middle school. Jefferson Middle. Oh no. She watched as her old group of not-quite-friends approached. Her breath caught in her lungs. Not this. Anything but this. "Why did you do this? Why can't you just loosen up for once?" Alexis snapped. "If you would just CHILL." Leona's eyes widened and she stepped back against the lockers. "My boyfriend is in jail because of you!" Alexis followed up with a string of obscenities that would have made a sailor's ears bleed. Leona stuttered. "It was t-t- the right thing to do. You shouldn't have held that party at your house. Alcohol is illegal. We're fourteen." They weren't going to listen. She already knew how this ended. "Yeah, well," interjected one of Alexis' friends, Rose. "Nobody was making you do anything. You should just chill. What happened to friendship?" Leona didn't respond. Their friendship had been over when Alexis had tried to force Leona into getting a boyfriend. "If you just dated someone, maybe you'd see that you can be things other than a stuck-up prude." she had said. "Friendship," Leona hissed, "ended back when you got me suspended for cheating. That I didn't do. Do you have any idea what that looks like on your record?" she felt her voice rising. "It's not a big deal. It ain't like you were going to end up at some great university. " Alexis stepped forwards and socked Leona in the face. Her binder and books fell to the floor. Stars swam in her vision. "Just" Alexis slapped her again. "Chill" Leona felt tears rolling down her cheeks. "Maybe next time, put your friends first." She lost consciousness and fell to the floor. The last thing she saw before her eyes closed was Alexis standing over her, laughing.

My thought is that Feruchemy can't be sensed because it is an end-neutral magic, meaning energy is neither gained nor lost. With allomancy, energy is gained through burning metals. With hemalurgy, energy is lost in the process of spiking.

I feel like Adolin becoming an edgedancer would be really cool. His entire family is Radiant. Jasnah, Dalinar, and Renarin are all radiants. Excluding Jasnah, the Kholin's powers seem to be entirely non-combative (Growth, tension, and illumination.) which would be a very interesting dynamic considering Adolin's love of dueling and swordfights. There's a WOB saying that Adolin becoming a Radiant via Maya is unlikely, though.

So much had happened. She’d been asked to prom, there was Ben’s fight, and she hadn’t even finished her homework.

“Super tired,” Leona replied. “Went to bed late last night and it’s late tonight and all these new people..” she sighed. “It’s just a lot, ya know?”
