    “I think they’ll be fine. Just- Shana, be careful.” Leona said. “Nobody freaks out when I soulcast or when the others use their powers.” She hefted Azriel. “This bad boy could do just as much damage and you don’t seem to have issues with that.”

    Leona followed Shana and Rob out through the back door, keeping Azriel from touching the doorframe. “What are the rules?”

    “Thanks,” Leona said. “Do you know where I can get stormlight? I uh- have a warning fabrial I keep charged.”

    "I can be on whatever team works best," said Leona. "And to answer your question Luther, I'd ask Doc, our bondsmith, to find someone to teach you."

    "I'm okay with a bow. They take hours and hours of practice, and they're only good at distances. You can't use them for close-range combat. I prefer Azriel, my longsword, or my two shortswords. But if pressed, I can use a bow." Leona said.

    "Outside," said Leona, hefting Azriel. "To the great outdoors!" must you be so overdramatic? "Yes. And, uh, grab some weapons from downstairs. There should be lockers with your names on them. We've got a nearly endless supply of knives, swords, bows, and arrows. Take whatever unless it's in someone's locker."

    Nicrosil is a silvery gray. Vasher saying 'An object of steel' doesn't make it steel. It's possible the sword contains a bar or veins of nicrosil in it. Brandon has RAFO'd what it Nightblood is made of. This could either mean "It says it in the text" or "this will be revealed in a later book." I personally see the second one as more likely. Vasher has no training (that I know of) in metalworking. He's just an awakener. Unless someone pointed it out, a random bar of nicrosil (especially if it was in the core of the blade) would go unnoticed. The sword could be entirely nicrosil, but that has some issues as well. There are other issues. Nicrosil (assuming an alloy of chromium and nickel) would be very weak. Both components are very weak metals, far more than steel. A sword of pure nicrosil would break or warp. It would nick and chip very easily, not things you want in a sword. While anyone can draw from an unsealed metalmind, investiture can't be added back in. Unless this is some weird bending of the rules, it probably wouldn't work. Nightblood would have to be taking the investiture by itself, like someone inhaling stormlight. And why would it be a metalmind? That would mean somebody could take all the breaths out of it at any time. My thought is that no, Nightblood isn't a metalmind, but probably has some Nicrosil based properties.

    Leona got up from the table and put her dishes in the dishwasher. “I’m headed downstairs to grab my longsword. See you outside.” She went downstairs, and dug through the locker holding her weapons. There, in a dark navy sheath was the sword Azriel. To be fair, she had named it two years ago when she was obsessed with fantasy books, but it was still an overly pompous name. She drew it out of the sheath. The blade was heavy in her hand, dark blue-gray metal extending five feet from hilt to tip. It was heavy enough that it required stormlight to fight with, even though she’d soulcast it into an unknown metal that was lighter than t should be . It held an edge better than anything but a shard blade She smiled grimly. Hello, old friend. She walked back upstairs, holding just enough stormlight to make Azriel easy to carry.

    “Of course!” said Leona. “There’s massive tub in the training room. Take whatever you need. I can soulcast whatever you make into cake if you want.” she offered.

    “Well that shouldn’t stop us from setting up the party. It can be a surprise.” Leona said. “And maybe no alcohol. Impaired judgement and stormlight don’t mix very well.”

    Leona flinched slightly. It was pretty clear that Flid had plans. Oh well. She ate some more of her spaghetti. "What are we doing after lunch?" she asked.

    "You can. It's generally frowned upon, but nobody's asked me yet." Leona said. She wondered what kind of dress she'd wear. Probably something in Elsecaller Blue. It was a good color on her.

    "I don't know who I'm going with yet. I'm probably just going to go solo." Leona said. "But I'd be more than happy to go shopping with you, Shana."

    When someone says 'Splinter' or 'Shard' and you freak out. Screaming every time the progress bar on SA4 goes up. When you stub your toe and yell "RUST AND RUIN!" When your Kahoot! name is cosmere related. When you are told to do something and mutter 'Honor is dead but I'll see what I can do." When every somebody says chivalry is dead but you correct them because clearly honor is the dead one.
