Perpendicularly Ambush Waiting to Happen?
Karger replied to Crucible of Shards's topic in Cosmere Discussion
A Lightweaver can be quite useful in battle. I would not be surprised if the fourth bridge has one(as a soulcaster for supplies if nothing else). Either way if they are not successful the very first time or if Dalinar thinks of it first this will become pretty standard. -
Perpendicularly Ambush Waiting to Happen?
Karger replied to Crucible of Shards's topic in Cosmere Discussion
It could work it just seems overly complicated. You would have to get some fused into the CR, get Dalinar to open the perpendicularity at the right moment and even then still have to deal with a supercharged radiant. Given we have that teleporting fused to worry about I don't think this method particularly viable. Also any Elsecaller or Lightweaver could check ahead of time and compromise your plan. -
This is a fairly flexible magic system but to be brutally honest I am not yet seeing a lot of potential outside the visual. What makes a particular mage powerful? How do they become more so? How does doing so open them to potential pitfalls? How does it relate to the plot and world?

Perpendicularly Ambush Waiting to Happen?
Karger replied to Crucible of Shards's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Maybe. Approaching even a well guarded individual on the battlefield is not impossible. Also the fused do have transportation. They could manage this without the perpendicularity. -
A magic he can't get for some reason seems the most obvious although it might be some in joke I am not getting.

No adding investiture will not be enough. Something is broken on the spiritual level.

What types of study and practice are necessary? Is it primarily mental or physical training?

What makes "magic" distinct from the mana manipulations that everyone does all the time? I don't really need lightning in my day to day life. I would prefer to have an extra laptop battery when I want it.

It looks and acts like obsidian but it will resist investiture, and probably won't manifest in the PR.

Perpendicularly Ambush Waiting to Happen?

How do you kill Dalinar when he has unlimited light available? Also do you really want to get close to that stuff? I honestly expect Honor's power to be really bad for fused. -
Yes. Technically it is investiture. You are assuming that Riri is close enough to Iri and had enough intermixing that Riri's nobility have the same sDNA as Iri who are from(a while ago) Nalthis and whose nobles contain returned blooded individuals who have simply not manifested any of the traits associated but Adolin will unlock?

Evi is from Rira. That is not identical to Iri.

You should probably do some research on DID. Here is a good source. It is a bit long. I recommend the first section. https://www.beautyafterbruises.org/blog/didmyths This one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ek7JK6pattE&feature=youtu.be

Why is Adolin dying his hair? Is he a Hoid cosplayer? In disguise? Trying a new color?

Cymatic Frequencies for Silver Kingdoms Cities
Karger replied to Harakeke's topic in Stormlight Archive
My personal theory is that they tapped into the forces of the planet itself(IRL we would call this Gaia although Rosharans might say Cultivation). -
Evi was definitely not cosmere aware. She also does not appear Nalthian. It could be a sphere I suppose but I think it is a bead. What realms do these all take place in?

It would also match the description of a Truthwatcher spren in the PR exactly.

Welcome! The "problem" with Warbreaker is that it is a bit more confusing then some other Brandon stuff and because Nightblood is not coming out soon you really have to go through the annotations to figure some stuff out. Also some people dislike early Vivenna chapters. It is a Brandon book and as such definitely worth reading but you do have to keep both of those things in mind.

That is more or less always a possibility but I don't think Mrall acts like that. Of course we know practically nothing about Trell's group.
-
A number of reasons do spring to mind if you believe this theory(I don't but that is not relevent). We know Saze is working with Hoid on his whole anti-odium quest in some capacity so keeping an eye on interested parties makes sense. A kandra can maintain deep cover for years or decades and would find the environment of the diagram understandable(follow the contra- I mean the diagram) reporting to Harmony through their link. Finally Mrall is the one who seems to interject a bit of common sense into their dastardly plots. He reminds them of their goals and of the suffering they cause helping limit the fallout if only in minor ways.

Feel free to ask on the creator's corner. Welcome to the shard!

They break the binding itself! They want it, but in their haste they will destroy it. Like the Fleet the reader destroys his mind and heart rather then go a page slower! They come! They Record! The audible studio through the day. The director holds us in his palm... making a story that no man can hear! And all the world was shattered! The rocks trembled with their steps, and the volumes stacked toward the heavens. We live! We live! The book is ours, but they refuse us. Dragonsteel! You refuse. The book is ours. It comes, slowly, and our hearts fail. Oh, Dragonsteel!

Yeah. Hoid wanted to blow his cover. That is why he gave Wax the coin.

Soldiers can move efficiently with more weight then you might expect. US marines preform combat carrying 60 to a hundred pounds of armor and equipment(22 to 40kg).
