They also didn't glow nor were they particularly tall nor did the speak in an odd manner. I think they just wanted to avoid run ins with law enforcement later.

They could also have just used an invested or metallic arts device. GBs don't seem like they would try to recruit skybreakers. They had enough trouble with the lightweavers. Most likely they were just worried of being compromised by local law enforcement. Rosharans would be very distinctive given their height and odd speech patterns. These people were specifically supposed to be undercover operatives.

I agree with @Nameless. Its reminiscent of how Vin was burning minuscule amounts of different metals before she knew about her powers. Instead we have kind of the opposite. Wax sort of is a Mistborn but he is so weak that the burning is unconscious. As to why Harmony mixed the lerasium with other metals. This is just a guess I'm thinking they contained minuscule quantities of lerasium alloys of different metals. This would be more efficient for Harmony given the minimal Lerasium he is working with as well as help prevent any full mistborn from showing up without an emergency. If it was just lerasium-steel then it would have just improved Wax's coinshot abilities without doing much of anything else. He might not even have noticed(although given the purity of investiture involved it may also have helped keep him alive kind of like a passive constitution buff).

I thought so but Kandra are a problem to overcome. Besides he only got there weeks ago. Vin suggests otherwise as per her general proficiency with sharp objects. He needs to publicize the accomplishment of reclaiming them.

So during the lost metal the bands were rereleased into the public. Additionally we met Kelsier. We still have no clarification on how medallions are made but for now I'm going to operate under the assumption that it was the same method for now. The bands were found to be out of attributes and our jackass of an admiral seemed to know that they would be. I can't imagine the kandra allowing the bands detection so sabotage does not seem probable. This removes the possibility of a switch. I can thus only come to the conclusion that the power in the bands must have degraded over time(exactly like a hemalurgic spike). Can anyone else think of another possibility in the meantime?

Offworlders are here. There is a perpendicularity. Some perpendicularities are known to be unstable but if the newspaper we have is anything to go by this one is fine.

It seems likely that one is in the southern continent(ettmental source). If one is in the northern continent then the broadsheets indicate that it is in the outside the basin.

discord 1 of 2 noun dis·cord ˈdi-ˌskȯrd 1 a : lack of agreement or harmony (as between persons, things, or ideas) … must we fall into the jabber and babel of discord while victory is still unattained? Sir Winston Churchill b : active quarreling or conflict resulting from discord among persons or factions : strife marital discord discord between the two parties 2 a music (1) : a combination of musical sounds that strikes the ear harshly (2) : dissonance The song ends on a discord. b : a harsh or unpleasant sound Discord seems like the intent that happens when the shard Harmony gets out of alignment either with itself or its world. This is just a theory of mine but I'm thinking that Harmony is getting kind of cantankerous. Like Preservation a bit. It seems to reflexively disagree with doing anything and seems mostly concerned with stopping things from happening. With people like Kel and his gang around that is kind of a problem. Sure Saze has kept things locked down well enough for now but how long can things stay that way?

It is safe and highly trafficked. That could be a primary reason the GBs aren't welcome there. They aren't exactly an organization on the up and up and it stands to reason that they wouldn't be friendly.

Strictly speaking he said "No I don't think so" which coming from a shard is probably like "I don't remember."

Pretty well actually. I believe we have a WoB about it. The stuff is durable. Godmetals may tend that way given bavadium If you could get enough of them. Growls at Brandon. You still haven't explained them yet!

Anyway and more to the point Bruce Wayne was batman after all.

Science time! Like the alchemists of old it is time for us to delve into the secrets of metals and the divine. With lost metal out its time to put on my aluminum hat and scratch my understanding of investiture into the metal sheets of the wall. Examining Wax's experiment seems to reconfirm how a metal's properties are related to the shard it originates from. Harmonium: Also called ettmetal is a highly volatile substance. It exists in a delicate balance and mere interaction with water is sufficient to cause the largest man made explosions in scadrial's history. It is quite pliable as well and has a high boiling point. This is emblematic of a shard striving for balance on a knife's edge. Although destructive it is also quite resilient and flexible. Additionally it can fuel matalic arts when combined with the correct technology. Trellium(bavadinium): Is an extremely durable substance. Its melting point is very high, beyond even ettmetal, and its hardness barely below diamond. It is emblematic of a shard promoting individuality and when used in hemalurgy it can prevent intrusion from Harmony. It also reacts much more violently to resist foreign investiture then other metals. Stormlight: It might be surprising to place this on the list but its worth noting that this is a relatively common form of physical investiture found on roshar. It seems particularly good at bridging the different realms as per its intent in joining things together. Because of this it tends to be somewhat unstable and difficult to keep in one place. It desires to connect anything to anything else per the intent Honor. Lifelight: Cultivation's light is noted for its use in creating food. This may also explain its rarity as any that exists would be rapidly absorbed by surrounding lifeforms fulfilling Cultivation's intent to grow. Voidlight: By contrast to stormlgiht remains solid for long periods. In solid form raysium conducts investiture quite well. This may be a demonstration of its emptiness per Odium's intent. The two most important for this theory our old friends lerasium and atium are not widely available in present day scadrial. Both seemed to be pliable metals but what is truly intriguing about them might not be their properties but rather their distribution. The majority of lerasium was always distributed as widely as possible across the planet in the form of mists with comparitively little in the well as liquid or solid. This can potentially be seen as a type of behavior caused by Preservation's intent, the desire to save everyone and stop all change everywhere. Meanwhile atium is found almost exclusively in solid form. This can be seen as Ruin's intent to destroy things. When breaking things down its generally smarter to gather a critical mass of oxygenated material then just spray oxygen into the atmosphere. Now for the interesting part. Sazed claims to Kelseir that the lerasium is annihilated in the explosion. I'm thinking its actually not a lie but it is a bluff. Investiture cannot be destroyed. One can convert it of course and indeed that is part of what happens during the explosion but there is no reason for more lerasium to be destroyed then atium. It seems much more likely that an equal amount of both are consumed. Is it not possible the Lerasium attempts to follow its invested nature and fix things up in the aftermath of the explosion? The result seems fairly clean all thing considered with no known toxins generated. Additionally Wax absorbed a small amount of it at the time. The reason that no lerasium sticks around is because it is consumed by the environment itself. If intervention took place at the time of the explosion it may be possible to harvest it in small amounts. Its been a long time but I hope to hear from anyone who thinks this type of theory is interesting. I'd also like to hear about everyone else's ideas concerning godmetals.

The lerasium is unstable. It isn't exactly wrong to say it is annihilated in the explosion. I agree the lie is present but I'm still thinking its one of omission.

Don't we also have a dust and the implication that Wax breathed some in?
-
Is Saze lying? This is just a guess but I think that what was produced was in the gas state rather then a solid. Using it to effect doesn't seem feasible.

Sadly this duty falls to us. It still depends on the rules of engagement. The invaded side seems like it will usually have the advantage just because of how difficult it is too move large numbers of people through the CR. Both sides have WMDs now. Roshar's knights are more powerful in combat but far less efficient. Roshar has also had far more wars and thus understands warfare much better. Scadrials scientific and commercial arts are more developed. Additionally they have a better bureaucracy.

I'm thinking Wax is just temporarily "blinded" by the sudden investiture release and is now having issues with his "vision."
-
This is just a guess but Trell seems to have been formed to take down Harmony. Unlike Ruin and Preservation that just opposed each other Trell is actively trying to attack. If the godmetals follow this pattern perhaps Cosmere spoiler If that is the case then it might be able to preform god metal transmutation. This would be highly useful for Wax if he wants to try burning some.

For starters its a fun theory. However Not really. That would be too expensive. They do have aluminum hats for such uses but ordinary people don't wear them all the time. Chromium isn't luck. Fortune seems to be a bit more like destiny. Its not well understood yet but it has more to do with how various cosmere forces pull on you. Also impure Chromium wouldn't carry much (or any)charge feruchemically and you need a fairly complex chemical process to produce it. Unlike brass and pewter it wouldn't be in the water or anything like that(also if he was consuming it he would have resulted in poisoning as the chromium tends to be toxic in an unrefined state).

I think your neglecting to take into account the value of feruchemy. In addition to the specific attributes Feruchemical storage does not restrict its instantaneous output. Mistborn by contrast do have a maximum instantaneous output even with deralumin. If Miles is cautious he could feasibly have a quantity of investiture beyond what a mistborn can realistically produce within even several hours and additional metal reserves available.
